I've had this OLED for about a month now and so far I'm very impressed. The picture clarity is amazing, great colors and brightness, and the contrast is mind blowing. Having the individual pixels turn off to give infinite contrast has changed my appreciation for TV/movie viewing forever. I have yet to watch sports or play console games, which will really test the refresh rate, but I am already extremely satisfied with the TV. The internal speakers are great (AI is my favorite option so far), plenty of audio/video settings to play around with, great magic remote (better than the early generation that I have with a 47" 3D LG TV), and super easy setup. I'll be mounting this and adding a soundbar/subwoofer in a month or so to upgrade the viewing experience even further. 5/5!!!

    For gaming, compared to CX

For gaming, this tv is amazing and covers all of the checkpoints when setting up your xbox series x and your ps5. It has HDR 10, 120hz, UHD, and hdmi 2.1. Skip Qled and go Oled for gaming, they look amazing. Comparing this to the CX, where if you can’t find one because its out of stock or truly can afford the extra hundred dollars, it is an amazing tv that delivers on Viewing angles, resolution, quality, a sense of having something premium, and having smart tv and other types like Apple tv built in. With the BX, you can’t tell the difference between B and C.

Can't go wrong with an OLED tv! My best picture with a tv yet, I'm very impressed. I knew buying the tv it has Kodak technology of displaying true black colors & they aren't kidding. There is a delay with lips moving when using a different device, but that happens with anything. I have a Sony blu ray player, it doesn't bother me. As this tv is new, I'm getting used to selecting the center button, but I often press the voice button& I hear the LG lady say she's finding content similar or something. Great tv, so so thin at the top 1/3 of the tv, wow.I'm glad I made the purchase!

Black is black, red is red, oh my! I sat this TV right beside a Samsung QLED and the difference in picture quality was striking! The colors are deep and vivid from every angle. The remote is comfortable and has all the quick access buttons you’d want. The LG interface is a bit busy, but not annoyingly cluttered. I love it! Hands down the best Picture showing TV I’ve ever watched. You won’t regret this buy! I only wish I could have afforded to get a larger size. Don’t settle for the QLED, they are just as expensive but the viewing experience is significantly better with OLED. I’d rather comprise on size than picture quality for my money.

I was looking for a TV to make me living room like a real media room. It’s the only room in the house comfortable enough to make a movie come to life. I really enjoy this TV. The color is gorgeous, and the clarity is unrivaled. I bought a Sony OLED, but I didn’t like it at all! I really prefer this LG OLED that has really performed quite nicely for me so far. I was worried about the notorious burn-in and the image retention ! So far I have not experienced any burn-in, and we have had somewhat static images. I did have quick image retention last night but it went away without having to do anything. So far I think it’s a successful TV and I’m pleased with my first OLED TV!

This is my first OLED tv and it has lived up to it's reputation for a awesome picture. The contrast is amazing. However, I'm not a fan of the remote with the arrow pointing to what you want. I also have an echo effect when I play sound through the external Toslink cable unless I mute the TV.

This is the by far the best TV anyone can get till date period! the content you see from the OLED panel is gorgeous and the details are awesome, you cant get anymore natural and real than this. the blacks are real blacks not browns or lite blacks like other led panels. this tv got the latest hdmi 2.1 ports which is awesome and future proof and capable of transfering high end uncompressed video (hdr,hlg,hdr10,dolby vision) and dolby atmos audio. couple of hdmi ports in this tv can transmit 120fps too. the magic remote is the by far the best tv remote any tv offered till date it is a Bluetooth remote so no need to point at tv you can scroll anywhere no need to operate horizontal or vertical using up/down keys like traditional remotes which saves lot of time and it has the builtin voice integration of all popular brands so you can easily use the voice to search from home screen or in side the app and the results are pretty accurate this smart tv works on latest version of webos which is very smooth and bug free and automatically adjust to the best picture mode and audio while you watching high end content and you have 10 preset picture modes to choose as per your preference there is a AI video, brightness and audio feature too which make the content more crisp and upscales from sd to hd. I watch lot of content from online streaming services I was blown away by the depth and clarity of the pictures and I rewatched some of the TV shows and movies and what i observed is all this years am missing lot of details and colors from my old LCD tv if you want to see the actual true colors and vivid details the content creators wanted us to see this is the TV you should have if i have to put everything together LG has created a flawless tv which puts the 3 main things of any tv 1.hardware 2.software 3.remote with perfect precision and the way this 3 interacts together gives you an uninterrupted frustration free tv viewing experience which is anybody's dream which lg made it possible. Great Panel Marred by Terrible UI, UX

An otherwise top-of-the-line display is marred by terribly designed UI and UX. The brightness settings are a constant annoyance, because the supposed auto-adjust capabilities it is touted to have do not even function in the slightest once you change even one setting. The settings menu is a train wreck. I can't believe a TV this advanced would take holding the settings button for about 5 seconds and then waiting for it to load the settings menu just so that I can begin to adjust the brightness level, which must be accessed constantly (again, due to the complete lack of auto-adjust functionality) The ability to connect Bluetooth devices is nice, but only the LG Tone buds that cake with the promo connected reliably to the TV, making the function more annoying than useful. Accessing the Bluetooth settings is buried under layers of options as well. Unless all you want to do is change between two settings in the quick options menu that comes up from one quick press of the gear icon. Speaking of the quick settings menu, it's absolutely useless 90% of the time. Leaving you to have to rely on about a 5 second hold of the settings button. Which is annoying and a poor choice of UX design by LG. The Magic Remote feels slick and cool until you realize the cursor barely stays on track. The initial launch of the Wii remotes were 10x more accurate than this thing, and it makes it functionally a nuisance rather than a feature. It made me wish I could have chosen to opt out of the Magic Remote entirely. Gaming on this TV is a mixed experience since the settings are a nightmare and getting the colors to look right is just stupidly complicated to the point where it's an ordeal just to get each game to look right without having overblown contrast and blown out color ranges. If you're trying to balance high refresh rate with accurate colors while gaming, you're going to have a sub-par experience with this TV's settings. The menu is just awful. When watching movies, this thing is an absolute beast. That's the only thing that kept this unit on my wall and debating whether I should return it or put up with all the other problems. Then I realized, hey, I spent a lot on this thing. It should have basic functionality down with no problems at this price tier. It's still in the return window, so why don't I try out a Sony instead. And I did just that. Wouldn't recommend buying this TV unless ALL you're going to do is watch movies and tv shows and if you're not going to rely on the crappy UI they have to run your streaming software for things like Netflix. All in all I was disappointed with this unit because it could be so much better if UX and UI were overhauled.

    LG OLED 4K

I am NOT pleased with this product. My husband and I are both approaching 80 and we wanted something easy to operate. This LG OLED TV has a beautiful picture and an extremely impressive sound system BUT, it is not easy to operate! First, of all we have a "magic" remote that does not even have a "REC" button...had I known this upfront, I would NOT have bought this TV. DIRECT TV is our carrier and maneuvering through this platform using Magic/Universal remote is complex ..heck, we haven't even figured out how to record shows for future viewing..GEEK squad came and walked us through different functions and he did, after several attempts, figure out how to record shows, but, after he was gone, I could not figure it out to do it myself so, we reverted to using the DIRECT TV remote...much easier BUT, kiss the so called universal remote goodbye. 2ndly....This TV does not have the proper, normal connections to hook up a VCR/DVD player...we have to buy an adapter.. VCR/DVD technology is considered obsolete...well, excuse me but we have hundreds of recorded tapes that hold precious memories that everynow and than, we like to watch..3rdly....This is a "smart" TV and it doesn't even allow us to download a new app. Don't get me wrong, it's loaded with apps but there happened to be one that we wanted that was not in the LG store...so, we had to buy a ROKU stick to get that app. 4thly....We sometimes still have trouble just turning TV on to play, often get a message that it's not connected BUT it is. We think we've figured a way around this one! 5thly... We were informed by GEEK squad that we should consider changing our internet carrier to really maximize 4K experience. Good suggestion but one that we did not expect!! Bottom line: This is an expensive TV and I don't think it worth the money. I would NOT buy this TV again, nor, would I recommend it without giving someone the above information.

SO AMAZING! I have watched movies, played games, watched TV, listened to music on it....it's AMAZING!! The picture quality is amazing and love how it auto adjusts based on what you're doing. The sound is even amazing! Super easy to use and I love all the smart features. I was looking for a much cheaper TV but made the dive when I walked passed this in the store and upon some initial research was supposed to be better than even mid tear samsung and LG tv's that would've been twice the price. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! It was so worth every penny.

This TV is amazing. Picked it up during a holiday sale in-store. Having upgraded from an old Panasonic plasma set, the brightness of the OLED took a while to get used to. I have this setup with gaming mode enabled on my PS5 and the picture is unreal with 2.1 HDMI. Movies and TV shows look crystal clear as well. The TV is super light for its size. There are plenty of apps built-in. Tons of features to customize the picture and experience to your liking. Audio is a bit lacking however hooking up a soundbar and bluetooth headphones was a breeze.

East to install and put together, easy to pair and use the remote, color and clarity, picture quality awesome. It takes 2 people to handle and put together for safety. I specifically bought an LG vs. Samsung or Sony because most important to me is the ability to easily access the internet for URLs and websites. Samsung is extremely difficult to next to impossible to access the internet and Sony is more expensive than LG. Thank you LG as now I can participate in learning programs and actually see writing on the screen.

This TV replaced an aging Samsung one in my living room. The Samsung performed well, but it was an older model that did not have modern connections. I looked at this model for so long *lol*. Every time I would visit the Magnolia section of my local Best Buy stores, it was mesmerizing. I have never looked back, and happy I waited until prices came down for OLED technology. It is beyond amazing - everything is crisp, clear, colorful and lifelike. This is also my 2nd smart TV. These (numerous) features work well, and LG does a great job making sure the TV receives system updates. The sound that comes out is very good. I do have a Roku Streambar attached, but when not watching something on there, it still sounds nice and loud. It has multiple HDMI ports (3 regular, one ARC) as well as Optical output. In addition to the Roku, atttached to it are a DVD player, ChromeCast and XFinity box. Changing the AV source is a breeze. The magic remote is so much fun to use! Also, the amount of free stations built into it is astounding. Finally, I really like the size. If space is tight and you can't fit a 60" or 65" TV, this one is a viable option that is still large enough to be seen from multiple angles. Two pieces of advice: 1) If you do not have anyone to help you set up the TV, it may be worth it to spring for delivery and setup from Best Buy or another service (if you can). The TV's base is very heavy, and putting it together is slightly complicated, so having help will make things easier all around. 2) I highly recommend Geek Squad protection. It covers everything except accidental damage. So, if one day you find dead pixels or something else amiss, Best Buy will provide repair or replacement.

The BX 55 inch is a fantastic tv with beautiful color. It’s so good, in fact, I took it back within purchase time, and spent the extra on the 65 inch CX series. Instantly became an LG fan. Found this series when I hadn’t planned on switching TVs yet. The color made me physically stop in the store, and stare. Granted, not all streaming content can make use of all the goods, whenever something does? It will drop jaws. You haven’t seen black on a screen till you’ve seen LG oled contrast

I want to provide two different reviews here. First, the most appropriate one, is the TV. I've had this TV for about a month now, and am amazed at the picture. Beautiful, bright, crisp, with deep true blacks... and I'm not even really taking advantage of the 4k capabilities yes. It truly is a gorgeous picture. Sound quality of the unit itself is nothing special, but I usually have it hooked up to my surround system, so I really can't comment on it. The user interface is a bit more problematic. It took a lot of searching and experimenting and tweaking and trial and error to get the picture to the point that I'm happy with it. Even now, there are times that I think I want to tweak something else, but I just don't feel like going down the rabbit hole of trying to find a particular setting again. The directory structure is confusing, and the distinctions between some of the settings aren't clear. Utilizing the apps is a bit easier, once you find and install the ones you want. Although my not-so-tech-savvy wife is still lost with a lot of it... I fear I'm going to be controlling this TV for her for the life of the TV. Also a little surprising that there's no built-in app for HBO Max yet... still have to do that through my PS4 or Chromecast. I'm hoping that'll be remedied soon. So all in all, a good tv. Of course, given what we paid for it, I should hope so. 4 stars Now for the second review: Best Buy customer service. I ordered this TV online on December 15th. The point was to have it by Christmas, so I selected home delivery on December 19th. It was due by 6pm. At 6:30, the website still said it was coming, but I had no new info. So I called. They had no info. So they said they'd look into it and get back to me. At 7pm, they called and said yup, still on the truck, it'll be there in half an hour. 7:30, 8, 8:30, still no TV. So I call again... nope, sorry, the tv isn't coming. Hold on... you just told me it would be here in half an hour. What changed? "I'm sorry, sir, I have no information on that. You'll need to call back tomorrow to reschedule." So call back on Dec 20th. Still no explanation for what happened to my tv... why it wasn't delivered, even after being told it was half an hour away. Now, the soonest they can deliver it to me is Dec 26th. Or I can pick it up from a nearby store on Dec 23rd. Fine, I'll do pick up. Get a text on Dec 21st... sorry, your tv won't be available for pickup. Please call us to reschedule. So I pick another local store that has pickup on Dec 24th. It's Christmas Eve, so they're closing at 6. By 4, the website still says it'll be available for pickup that day, but I call to check. Nope, no TV here, despite what the website says. Call corporate again to reschedule... this time I can pick it up on Dec 29th. And finally, that one works out. But no explanation and no real attempt to find out for why my orders kept getting dropped, missed, or ignore. And when I ask how they can be satisfied with that result on the situation, I get the phone call equivalent of a shrug. So, as much as I've always liked Best Buy, I can no longer recommend shopping there. This whole process left such a sour taste in my mouth that the only reason I stuck with them for the order instead of cancelling completely is because every other place I looked couldn't get me this TV until mid January. Best Buy customer service: 0 stars. Would not recommend. Avoid like the plague.

I'm coming from 2016 Samsung 4k, and that was nice... But this OLED display is quite simply amazing. Colors are so rich and vivid. Viewing 4k content coupled with Dolby Vision, when available, is just awesome. Even my wife is like WOW!! We didn't realize what we were missing! WebOS works great, I've had no issues with that so far. The magic remote took a few times to get used to, but it's pretty nice! Overall for $1500, I don't think you'll find better. Sony OLEDs are much pricier so this is a no brainier. Trust me, you'll love this LG OLED! So happy...

This tv was well worth the purchase price as I really wanted one for my PC in my game room. I have a 65 inch B9 in the living room and knew I'd be satisfied with the BX. I only took off 1 star because some of the features are a bit cut down from last year's model, i.e. only having 2 hdmi ports capable of 4k 120hz as opposed to all 4 on the B9. Luckily I didn't need all that for this one. EXCELLENT picture quality with bright vibrant colors, and amazing contrast due to the self lit pixels. It'll be hard for anyone to go back to LED LCD's after using an oled.
