The picture simply cannot be beat. Super deep space blacks, and crystal clear HDR (especially for Dolby Vision content on Apple TV 4K, though I wish it had HDMI out for pass thru. Interface is far easier to use and way more reliable from the Samsung 4K TV it replaced. A little on the expensive end, but the build and picture quality are worth it.

Finally upgraded from a 1080 LCD, I did a lot of research before going with LG OLED. Dark scenes in ab dark room just face into black, unable to tell where the screen ends and it's beautiful.
Interface is clean and the magic remote makes searching easy.
Haven't been able to get my alexa account bro sync properly though. Only downside.

This TV has the best images I have ever seen. Super sharp and bright. Blacks are truly black and shadows show up well. No problems watching in a very bright room. Screen is so thin I was petrified I would break it. Bezels are almost invisible. Remote isn't the most intuitive and it doesn't really fit my hand.

The detail on the screen is so real to life like, it's as if the actor were standing in front of you. The color and picture settings give a person many option's how they want to view their program's and movie's. For the price, it's hundreds of dollars lower than it's competition. Two thumb's up out of 10 stars I give it 11.

I was hesitant to switch from Samsung to LG. I’ve had this TV for about 20 months. It’s terrific, I have no complaints. The picture is clear, deep and beautiful, and using the various settings and options is intuitive and straightforward. Setup was a breeze.

2019 Model was a must for the 4 high speed hdmi 2.1 ports. Plug and play when the PS5 comes out, 120hz with VRR.
Apple Airplay is great. OS is simple. Speakers are incredible, I decided getting a sound bar is not needed.
Picture... amazing. Crystal clear, color is perfect. Smooth 4k.
Love this TV

I can’t say enough about the quality of this 4k television. The colors are bright and vibrant. The blacks are deep and rich. Brings the full 4k UHD experience to life. Smart TV features are easy to manage and streaming is a delight. I’d give this set 6 stars if offered. 2 BIG thumbs up. Thank you Best Buy.

I've been wanting an OLED for years, when this one came available and I was able to get it plus the 5-year Best Buy warranty (which covers burn-in) for several hundred less than normal price, I jumped on it. Very, very happy with my purchase, tv has been amazing, especially when watching in the dark.

This is a really amazing TV that looks basically perfect for everything if you dedicate to adjusting all the settings enough.
I originally owned the C8 model from the year before this, and there are a lot of nice little improvements. This might just be my eyes, but the only drawback from that last model are resolutions around 720p seem to look more jaggy and unevenly scaled no matter the settings than how I remember the previous model. It's easy to get used to though, and if you don't intend on using that low a resolution anyway higher ones look stunning, especially full 4K with HDR. Another note would just be this TV's surface is very reflective, so arrange lamps appropriately for it. I don't use its sound much, but from what I've heard that's also really good. And lastly, the remote's pointer function is really nice it's hard to imagine going back.

Did I need a new TV? Probably not, but I kept seeing the OLED TVs and then i started reading about them, and I decided it was time. The TV looks amazing, has a barely there bezel, an easy to use remote, and a picture that reveals things in the background I never saw in movies I have watched several times.

My first OLED TV. What a beautiful TV. The picture is absolutely beautiful. Perfect blacks, wonderful hdr performance. I use the "isf dark room" picture setting. 4k content is where this to really shines. HDMI 2.1 for future proofing is nice.
The sound is ok. Better than any other TV speakers I have had. I would say above average. They do not sound tinny.
Overall a great TV. The thought of burn-in doesn't bother me to much. They have gone things to improve this over the years. I watch a variance if content, so hopefully shouldn't see any problems.

The colors on our new LG OLED TV are so fantastic! The picture is so crisp and the black is amazing. I usually purchase Samsung when it comes to my televisions but I am so happy with this new LG I may have to reconsider my purchases.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great smart tv.

I purchased this TV to replace an older SONY Bravia LCD TV. I have been waiting to purchase an OLED Television , however the prices had always seemed too high. The prices finally came down and I decided to make the move. I loved my SONY product and was looking at their OLED's also. The SONY OLEDs were priced still much higher than LG. The LG TV has an incredible picture. The picture is very bright , with plenty of contrast and the black in backgrounds is phenomenal. The sound from the TV itself is very good, I may add a sound bar later but it is not required to enjoy the TV. This TV will produce the finest picture you have ever seen..It will make you want to watch many movies over again. The 4K picture on the TV is absolutely breathtaking, The picture for regular digital HD cable is also very good. The remote has so many features that make it easier to do anything!! The thi footprint, and inexpensive electricity draw for this TV is unbelievable. If you have been waiting to purchase an OLED TV , The LG c9 will not let you down in any way.

I was born in 1941 and my family got its first television in 1947 the year network television began. Over the years I have had many different sets as technology pushed into new frontiers. This LG TV provides an excellent picture, sound, and connectivity to external devices including older equipment including VHS tape players. It also connects directly to the web allowing on-line material to be displayed with a picture and sound clarity that provides a great new way to browse old favorite or to discover new one.
The only issue I have with the set is the skimpy documentation. Instead of an owner's manual LG provides a pamphlet of suggestions. Fortunately there are quite a few good sites available on You Tube that provides hands-on setup and operation information. Of course there's always the Magnolia site within the Best Buy Store and their Geek Squad to assist the new owner.
The bottom line, however, is that the picture and sound and viewing options LG has packed into the OLED TV is the best I've ever seen.

Bought this TV for my mom, couldn’t be happier with it! The picture is incredible, and the ease of using the remote has been excellent for my mom. I’m sure it has many functions that we don’t use that would be excellent for people who know how to use them. I highly recommend this television!

I'm not going to do a huge review with all the features and what not on this TV. There are plenty of YouTube reviewers for that.
I absolutely love this TV. LG OLED is the only way I have experienced 4K the way it was meant. I have owned 4k LCS panels from Samsung, and I was never impressed with them. My jaw hit the floor the day I was introduced to the OLED units. The Mrs. isn't interested in technology at all, and even she was impressed.
The question I often get and see is the Burn-In situation. I have had this TV almost a year now, and that had NEVER been an issue. You setup the brightness and settings up properly, and follow the guidelines on how to avoid burn in, you will never have the issue.
$1800 was a little steep for a tv, but I have zero regrets. It looks great, the apps installed like YouTube and Netflix run flawlessly, and it had been a fantastic experience with 4K blue ray discs via Xbox One X.
