    Best Gaming Tv Awesome Picture

Probably the best gaming tv you can buy right now. It’s got an awesome picture only bested by the Sony oled and i would recommend that one if all you watch is tv and movies plus it got a big price cut. But if you game the lg cx has everything you would want. All the hdmi ports are 2.1, it has variable refresh rate, and its freesync premium and gsync compatible. The only con is burn in but if your scared buy a warranty. If you change your content often enough and don’t leave it on the same thing day in and day out you should be fine plus the tv has fail safes built in to protect it. Once you go oled it’s hard to go back to lcd or qled they can’t match the inky blacks of oled but qled’s can get very bright. If you looking for something other than oled the Samsung q90t is a great tv for gaming. And if you want something even cheaper the tcl 6 series is a great tv for the price I love the roku operating system it’s simple but effective. I love the cx and think its the best tv you can buy right now in the us and you get a free lg xboom bluetooth speaker with proof of purchase until November 11th.

    OLED Can't Be Beat!

Coming from an 8-yr-old Samsung plasma, which was still working just fine. But the picture quality on this OLED TV is jaw-dropping. Been watching 4K HDR (high dynamic range) videos non-stop for a few days now -- incredible contrast, detail, color, and clarity. Black is really deep black. Also been noticing more fine shades of color with regular HD upscaled content too. Panel is so thin it's almost scary -- thinner than my cell phone. Tons of picture quality settings... be prepared to spend some time tweaking things to your liking. This LG TV supports 4K HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG-HDR, but not HDR10+. A small window momentarily indicates when it detects that format. Also has a built-in web browser, Google Assistant, and Alexa. Most of the common apps (Tablo, YouTube, Sling, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, Apple TV, etc.) are downloadable from the built-in LG Content store. Not too much need for my Roku box now. Remote control has a on-screen mouse pointer mode, which is somewhat useful but takes a while to get used to. (Don't have to use it if you prefer the 4-button navigation.) Many buttons on the remote have a 2nd function when long-pressed. Voice input is also on the remote.

I was lucky enough to pick up a PS5 and a Series X. I had an older Samsung 4k. I needed to upgrade to a better TV to take advantage of hdmi 2.1 4k 120hz. This TV is absolutely stunning. Playing 4K @120hz is an amazing experience. I'm a very big gamer and this TV meets all of my needs and truly takes advantage of the latest technology available. 4K 120hz all 4 hdmi ports, low latency, OLED is beautiful, true blacks, rich colors, just a phenomenal TV. Even thought this is s 2020 TV, i have no regrets and i didn't want to wait for a 2021 model. I purchased a 5yr geek squad warranty, i highly recommend doing so. Yes it's pricy but being OLED, burn in could be an issue in the future. I don't know as i've only owned the TV for 4months thus far and no issues. But purchasing a warranty gives me peace of mind knowing i'm covered for the next 5yrs should something happen. You don't have to be a gamer to appreciate this TV. Although i do game A LOT, i also use this TV for Netflix, HBO Max, YouTube, Prime, etc. Dolby Atmos and DolbyVision is beautiful. I can't recommend this TV enough. Please note, this is my first LG TV. LG, you earned a fan here. keep up the great quality products coming like this one.

Gamers, this is what we've wanted. An OLED experience without burn in issues that can show sweet 120 fps with no log issues. This will be even more true once G Sync firmware drops. Everything else OLED related is brilliant like you'd expect so won't bother talking about the picture quality. Sound is surprisingly good from the integrated speakers, but you'll want to eventually upgrade to a proper surround / soundbar. I mounted this bad boy on a robot arm and use the eARC feature for my Marantz receiver (SR7015 is a beast paired with this). So far so good, but I'm careful about logos causing burn in issues. There's an option to reduce brightness of these static images, which seems to work well. I'd still recommend turn off HUDs on the games you play on this. Airplay 2 works great to display over wifi, and the remote becomes a great all-in-one solution with ARC/eARC enabled. Love the ability to point at the screen when browsing.

This tv is amazing. I returned my Sony A8H for this tv, not saying the Sony wasn’t a fantastic tv because it certainly is, but the LG has the additional gaming features and after having both, the difference in movies is borderline indistinguishable. Sony has the upper hand with its processing and up scaling of non 4K content into 4K but native 4K content, they’re virtually neck and neck. I love playing my Series X in 120fps for games that support it. I also use my Apple TV 4K to stream in Dolby Vision and that is just eye candy! I got the tv on sale for $1349 during the pre Black Friday special and I would get another one for my living room if it wasn’t almost $2k again. This is definitely a future proofed tv and don’t worry about burn in, LG takes plenty of steps to make sure your tv display will prevent burn in. (It’s not impossible but if you watch varied content without a ton of static images, you’re golden)

I’ve studied this Tv for months wanting to know if I was making the right choice, it was either the LG CX or something along the Q90T but let me say truly the Oled is unbeatable and I game intensely so burn in was a definitely concern but trust me it’s no where near as bad as people like to make it out to be. I promise you the only stressful thing about this tv would be putting it together NOW THAT WAS PURE NIGHTMARE FUEL I was so scared I was going to destroy it on accident or that it was going to fall or something I don’t know but honestly set up was the most horrifying. I also disagree with people saying it can’t get bright or that it has bad audio I fully disagree the audio is great and once you hear it in person their is honestly no need for a sound bar and the bass is freaking amazing. Gaming is absolutely the best I’ve ever seen it on this Tv though and I got it so it could run 120fps on my series x and let me just say wow I am impressed with not only the FPS but the visuals combined with the series x looks like a freaking movie I’ve played red dead 2 sent it to friends and they thought I was watching something on Netflix. The deep dark blacks was no joke sometimes when content goes to black it’s hard to tell if the tv is even on.

For the longest I’ve been on the look out for the 48” version but the price of the 55” when on sale can’t be beat. Never had a TV this size in my room so at first it was a little weird but once you adapt it’s actually a perfect size. The bezels are nice and thin. Picture quality is amazing. And the internal speakers without a sound system is actually pretty good. Gaming on this thing is amazing! If you have a PS5 I would test it out with Astros Playroom. You will be blown away! I was also contemplating on the new LG 4K 120Hz monitor but it’s listed at $900. In my opinion I’d rather go with this TV since it’s an excellent all around performer. OLED can’t be beat!! Side note: This TV is really heavy so make sure you have someone help you loading, unloading and installing.

Awesome 2020 OLED tv. Been still getting firmware updates in June 2023. No burn ins or anything, and I haven’t even been careful with burn ins in mind. Good viewing angles as it’s an OLED. Sound quality is average with barely an bass but if you’re spending $1,000+ , get at least an entry level sound bar to compliment. Good for medium to dim lit rooms. If you want an OLED for bright lit rooms, get an LG G series from 2023 with their heat sinks and MLA panels or a QD-OLED from Samsung. Awesome tv for gaming, can display 4k dolby vision at 120hz on a Xbox Series X on all four hdmi ports and 4k 120hz hdr on PlayStation.

Amazing OLED TV or computer monitor

This is my first OLED TV and was a little worried about a few things going into this tech. However after a lot of research I decided to go with this one. It has features built in to really help against burn in, which I have heard can be a problem with OLED but not ever having one I can't confirm. There is a very nice screen saver built in, as well as pixel shift. Pros: The color black is just amazing on OLED. It really makes even older shows just pop and also stuff in 4:3 you get a black bar on the sides you almost forget the TV isn't widescreen. Games look amazing on this thing. I have tried a few consoles and a PC on it. Even the Switch looks fantastic on this thing. The audio speakers built in are not that bad. Usually I expect on most TV's these days to have some weak audio. But this came out really nice. There is an optical output as well so I could hook into my sound bar. Bluetooth headphones will also connect to the device, so if you want private viewing or don't want to wake or keep everyone up it is a nice option to have. Pretty smooth smart TV with the programs launching quickly, however not my favorite interface, but I could get used to it. The quick launch features are also helpful, common apps pop up with quick hit of the home button on the controller. The OSD is really quick to respond and has a lot of quick access features for sound and picture. Also the ability to quickly apply settings to all inputs saves a lot of time on things like reducing brightness across the board. (see picture) Was also pleased how easy was to label each input when I was setting the thing up Cons Not sure this is applicable to everyone but the LG remote seems to use the same connection as a LG monitor I have in the same room, so I have been using my phone as a remote for my TV instead of the remote it came with to turn it on and off. WebOS has not been my favorite Smart TV software. The app selection is okay but at the time of writing this HBO Max is still missing. However the quick pop up of apps listed by pressing the home key is pretty nice. Update: I saw some people say GSYNC didn't work for their PC. I was able to get my RTX 2070 super to work fine with it. However you need to have a updated HDMI cable. I purchased a 2.1 version and had no problems and it looked amazing.

I upgraded to this TV from a Sony 900F and this was a huge jump in picture quality. This TV also has a ton more features such as; Gsync, FreeSync, Low Latency Game Mode, Variable Refresh, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10+, 120Hz at 4K for 120FPS 4K gaming, built in Dolby Atmos, and HDMI 2.1 for 48Gbps speeds. I already pre-ordered my XBOX Series X and this TV has all the best features to take advantage of the new consoles coming out next month. For gaming the HDR is some of the best I have seen. It also handles motion very well and HDR or Dolby Vision looks fantastic in movies. Being that this is an OLED display the picture quality is superb. Their are also built in tech/features that are designed to reduce the risk of burn in so under normal use your chances are low of that happening, but I still went ahead and got the 5 year Best Buy warranty just to play it safe. I would recommend this TV for people of who love movies and it is a must for hardcore gamers whether on PC or console.

Pros: Streaming Movies and TV: Fantastic! This TV's processor is incredibly fast and it allows for fast switching between apps if you can't figure out what to watch (very common in my house). Visual quality is fantastic. Gaming: It's just flat out awesome. This TV was built for the next gen consoles from XBOX and Playstation in mind, but if you have a PC like I do it looks unreal. 4K gaming at up to 120fps? Sign me up. My current system can only really get to about 60, but its future proof. Audio: My living room can't support dolby atmos, so I just use my Sonos surround sound connected to the TV via ARC. It sounds fantastic. Overall this is a fantastic TV and my first dip into the high-end TV market, and it was worth every penny. Cons: NONE

I had been eyeing this tv against the Sony 900h for awhile. I have a TCL P607 I bought for my pro in 2017 still in use. I received a PS5 on launch and needed an upgrade. Got this one for my bedroom! Believe me OLED is a different world! 4k,hdr yeah all great. But even at 1080p this tv looks fantastic! Highly recommend for consoles and movies. Also get the 5 year warranty. Take it from me! I worked at Geeksquad 6 years as a FT ARA. I’ve seen a lot of TVs, and worked on some. This is by far the best tv at this price and for gaming! You will never go back to a IPS or VA panel. Just be sure to get the warranty and put it in a man cave or safe are with pets and children. The screen is thinner than my pinky!

This tv is insane straight out of the box. I was terrified in the transit of this because this tv is thinner than my phone. But I had no problems and straight when it was turned on I knew this tv would blow me away. If you want deep blacks, perfect contrast, vibrant colors, and wonderful motion, this is the tv for you. Movies and shows look excellent and games are unbelievable on my 1X. If you're on the fence with a tv this expensive, just make the jump!

I give this 5 out of 5 stars, it truly is a fantastic TV and I highly recommend it!!! This is my first experience owning either a OLED or a QLED and I have to say with a few adjustments to the picture I am very happy I went with the LG OLED CX over anything else. The image quality is absolutely stunning with it's range of colors and depth of blacks. It truly is one of those things that a photo of it's screen quality can't fully convey. After a weeks worth of use it literally feels like the image quality of the CX has brought a new life to my favorite movies as well as my favorite games! It probably goes without saying but my guess is if you don't have a decent HDMI cable or signal strength to the TV much of it's beauty will be lost. That being said I for one can't hardly wait to see what the next generation of consoles brings to the table!

I upgraded to this tv from my previous 2019 LG OLED tv which was in perfect working order, but I have the new Sonos Arc sound bar which isn't compatible in giving me the True ARC sound I wanted from the 2019 OLED. So I upgraded to this CX series which has the compatibility of the Sonos Arc and I wasn't disappointed! The TV is awesome as the previous but when I combined it with the soundbar....OMG!!!! I'll never go to another movie theater ever again.. why should I when I have one with surround sound right in my own living room. This is a great purchase!

Picture: First off, the picture is amazing. I use the CX 55" with my Apple TV 4K and Sonos Arc to enjoy 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos content.** I have the Picture mode set to Cinema, which seems to provide the most accurate color. For those that prefer it a bit brighter, there is also a "Cinema Home" mode that still provides excellent color. No issues so far with banding or image retention. UI: Plenty of picture customization options, although I wish the descriptions in the documentation were more clear on the specifics of what's being changed for each setting. My biggest issue with the webOS UI is that the app order cannot be customized. The only two options are the default, and an option to do a "smart" reordering of apps based on your usage. This is made up for with the ability to setup Quick Access, in which you can assign a specific input/source or app to buttons 1-8. Cons: Probably the most annoying thing is how the TV (doesn't) automatically power off. It doesn't seem to communicate with the source devices as well as my Samsung 4K TV (2018). While it automatically powers off when I turn off the Apple TV 4K, I cannot say the same for the PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series X. Rather, with its perfect blacks, the TV looks like it's off, but then you can hear it click off several minutes later due to lack of activity. Remote: The LG Magic remote is a bit on the large size, and is certainly an adjustment coming from the simplicity of the Samsung Smart Remote. It's not a bad remote, but it's a little more traditional, and I could do without the dedicated Netflix and Prime Video buttons. **HDMI 2.1 (aka Ultra High Speed HDMI) cable may be required to use with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos over eARC. The TV displays a helpful popup notification in the corner when the image being displayed is HDR or Dolby Vision.

Sturdy and is the best audio when watching sports, movies etc. Don't go cheap - you can't really do this and you know it. HIRE A PROFESSIONAL. The whole TV/SoundBar is bonded to my wall.
