I was on the fence about buying this tv or a OLED tv. The price was about half and the picture is super clear. Easy setup and lots of great features. We really like the magic remote.

Color is top notch as is the viewing angle. No artifacts or ghosting. When paired with a soundbar or speaker system it's absolutely perfect.

I purchased this LG on August 18, 2020, and mind you this TV came out a year before the ps5. but since the tv supports high refresh rates and new updates to the Tv. I am able to use a feature that lets the Tv use higher refresh rates for my consoles. now i don't know if it is enate 120 Hz refresh when out of the game but it defiantly has a feature to use a 120 Hz refresh rate. it works on my ps4 as well. as far as apps go it supports Xfinity stream so if you're looking to move some around your cable boxes you'll be able to use Xfinity stream on the tv and watch Live tv on it Wifi is required though. The Tv is still getting regular updates from time to time and it's been around 2 years since my purchase just about. other apps are netflix, prime videos, pluto which can be used with Lg channels; a free Tv service that LG provides with the tv, Hulu, and tubi. now this tv does support full-screen mirroring but there's a catch on android at least. you have to use smart things on Samsung devices as far as my experience is with my Tv. Because it does not let me screen mirror through google home. I have to work around this with the Smart Things app. then and only then will I be able to cast my phone to the Tv. By full-screen mirroring, I mean: being able to show your phone on the tv itself. other apps do work with the mirroring such as youtube but find trouble with other apps like Xfinity stream from my s10 to my Lg. So screen mirroring with android is iffy at best. there are more apps in the LG store like twitch, Funimation now, Youtube Tv, Vudu, Discovery+, Peacock, Paramount+, Youtube Kids, Showtime, TikTok, Starz, Apple Music, Pandora, IMDBTV, plex, DAZN (for my boxing fans), CBS Sports, Crackle, and CuriosityStream

I am amazed by this TV. I returned a different brand 55in that was comparable to the NanoCell TV because it had a stuttering problem and I couldn’t fix the settings no matter what I did. I haven’t had any issues with this TV and it was perfect right out of the box, no setting changes needed. I am so happy I went with the LG. The sound is good. The remote is neat but doesn’t connect to my Cox Contour box so it doesn’t get much use. Very happy with this LG TV.

Very pleased! Easy to set up and intuitive to use. Bought it to use in a bedroom. Great remote control and decent sound for what it is being used for.

Went in looking for a new tv. I was torn between this one and a little bit more expensive one because this one was on sale. Sales associate filled me in on how great this tv is. He wasn’t about making money, but rather about seeing the customer happy. Needless to say I’m extremely happy with this tv! Very easy to setup and use. Plus I love how the remote automatically detects other devices hooked up to the tv and programs to work with them.

Bought it for a senior parent. It's super simple to set up with a cable box and re-configure any of the features that you find distracting or unnecessary like the "soap opera" motion effect. The unit is light enough to move up flights of stairs without issue. The picture/sound/build quality is solid and the ability to update the firmware on the unit and the apps extends lifespan of the TV as a mainstay in the living room for my parent.

TV is great and the picture is super clear. Love having the smart features. But when setting it up, you have to lay the TV down on the screen to screw the stand into the back of it. Super weird and felt wrong to lay it down like that but it is what the instructions say. Also the stand is in the way of putting a sound bar on the cabinet as well.

Has basic apps Netflix, Disney+, Amazon,Vudu and Hulu. Missing others like Movies Anywhere, HBO,Pluto tv and others. So not an exact Roku/fire stick replacement. The TV is well made and has a unique remote I’m not sure if I really like it. Colors are good and viewing angles are better than most. If you want OLED type contrast this is not for you. Overall I like this TV and I’m going to keep it because I got a good price on it. It’s not perfect but it’s a reliable brand and a good overall pkg. Good for games, Sports, TV shows and non letterbox movies. Letterbox movies in dark lighting look a little washed out because of its average contrast ratio. My living room has good lighting so not a deal breaker.

I love this Tv. It has all the bells and whistles. Very smart, even the remotes is smart with voice commands. I learn new things from it everyday. I love how it has a movies button on the remote that will list movies from all my apps including my cable. the 4K is stunning. Looks great in any light, daylight, night time, darkness. and from every angle. Super super smart TV. Easy set up, plenty of apps to download, free movies on the LG app. Can't complain about a single thing, even the price is fair.

Never had anything LG, we are Samsung people. However, this was a great price and we are happy with the product. Easy setup, great sound, love the extras, you can have screen savers that look like actual great pictures.

Bought two of these after not being blown away by the supposedly higher quality TCL. Picture is amazing, sound is ok, ease of use is great. Great controller with voice commands... I really haven't had many issues other than the sound bar sometimes becoming disconnected. Also, I haven't figured out the sleep button and the rest screen is still kinda bright. However, with heavy use, both TVs are doing great.

This TV has a great picture in terms of clarity and brightness. It looks good from all angles. I did not purchase the sound bar however the sound from the existing speakers is very good. The Geek Squad installed this TV and coordinated all my remotes to the cable remote. Very glad I purchased this model.

Amazing tv, easy set up and simple use. Even my mom can operate it with ease. WiFi capable and uses apps like Netflix and Disney+ making it great and easy for when my mom watches my daughter. Great picture quality with numerous display settings. Multiple input options like hdmi and even rgb adaptations. Had my original wii system as well as 3 other newer generation consoles set up all at once.

I had purchased an average 65" and it looked that way. went to a more practical 55" and increase the quality level. This is not the very top of the line but it is a great compromise for almost 1/2 the price! We have the picture set on standard and its "real", sharp with good color and good blacks. the remote is kinda cool and there is a lot to learn about this we haven't even touched on.
