I’m upgrading from a 50” 1080p TV purchased around 2010. To that end, it’s a decent upgrade. I’ve yet to watch any native 4K content but the upscaling looks reasonably sharper than 1080. The colors are good. Can’t say anything about the speakers since I immediately hooked up my sound bar and haven’t used the speakers at all. As always, the motion smoothing was both garbage and on by default. Definitely expect to do some tweaking to get the image to look as good as it can. The “magic” remote that it comes with is both the best and worst thing in the world. It can control other inputs (like selecting apps on an Xbox...kinda) which blew my mind, and you use a cursor instead of just buttons to select things, which is decent. It can turn my sound bar on and off but can’t adjust the volume and even then, the button to do that is hidden under a menu. If it’s possible to fix it, the way to do so is really not obvious. If you’re looking for a genuinely smart “smart” tv, this is not it. While it has apps and can be cast to, navigating the menus is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s snappy, other times it lags for a solid 2-3 seconds, which just shouldn’t happen. If this was a $200 tv, that’d be acceptable but when it costs ~$500, there’s no way it should lag. If the fact that it “works” with google assistant interests you, I’m sorry to tell you that it barely works with it. Even though it shows up in Google Home, the assistant cant actually control it. All commands have to go through LG. That makes voice control a lot slower than it should be. Not to mention that all your commands have to include “ask LG to...” and specify the name of the TV even if there’s only one LG on the network. Even though there’s a wake from WiFi option, you can’t turn it on through Google Assistant. Whenever you give it a command, I’d say there’s about a 30% chance (if not more) that it does it but then after like 5 seconds, says it cant do it... even though it already did. If you just want a basic TV that looks decent, this is fine. If I could turn back time, I’d probably buy a Samsung.

This TV is extremely affordable as far as smart 4K TVs go. The tv is extremely simple to set up and displays amazing quality whether it’s for connecting to a PC, netflix or any other smart streaming service. You must change resolution to get it at its peak. Basically under $500 it’s a perfect investment.

Amazing sound and picture quality - especially for the price. Fairly easy to use: Two things that are disappointing: 1. HBO is not a part of the built in software. 2. The stand is very wobbly. Hope to get it mounted but until then am a little worried that it might tip over at the slightest touch.

This tv is worth every penny. I was waiting to buy a 120Hz refresh rate capable tv (although it has “True Motion 120” video enhancer) but after doing some research and due to it being inexpensive for its specs (60Hz refresh rate) I decided to take a gamble and purchase it, I’d figure if I was not impressed, I could always return it. Once installed, I have been beyond impressed with overall picture quality and other bells and whistles that comes with it. Just note that regardless of playing blue ray dvds (at 1080p) or watching Netflix or Amazon at standard upload or at 4K resolution, imaging is fantastic regardless of which format you’re playing. Worth every penny.

I recently sold all my old TVs and got this LG TV and I am extremely happy because it’s SMART and has tons of features like the magic remote. Easy to set up... it took less than 15 minutes to unpack and set up with WIFI. Great price and good size for any regular size room.

I was thrilled with my purchase of the LG - 55" Class - UN7300 Series - 4K UHD TV - Smart - LED - with HDR. It was easy to physically setup and to do all the techie stuff. Very intuitive. Love the magic remote as well. Tons of cool features! Don’t hesitate to buy this!

Bought this tv as a replacement for an old Emerson that died. I have bought several LG tv's over the years. I really like the available apps that are built directly into the tv. This unit is very easy to set up and has a great picture even via the coax connection. This tv was bought for a rental condo unit and the connection from the cable box did not have an HDMI connection so it was connected via the coax cable. The picture was surprisingly better than expected. I would definitely recommend this tv as it is a good deal for $449.

    Lags with Directv

July 6, 2020: I have directv with att and I am able to use the LG remote control to command the directv receiver box. I think it's a cool feature. However, the tv lags when I change the channel while watching Directv. The screen will go black for 5 to 10 seconds. I almost thought the television had turned off. I'm wondering if the direct tv receiver box is old for the new television. The lag is the only annoyance I have with the television. OTher than the lag, the television is perfect. Talking into the remote with voice control is the most awesome attribute second to the bluetooth connectivity feature. My son loves it. Picture quality is great. I also love the Bluetooth feature to connect bluetooth headphones while my son is sleeping. This has to be my favorite feature. The sound is so great there is no need for a sound bar. I was afraid this tv was going to be too big for my bedroom but it's perfect. The television inside of the box barely fits inside my honda fit with the seats folded down.

Best TV for its price. Colors are bright and clear. Tv has a lot of extra features and there's no need to buy an Apple TV since this already comes with the app and you can sync your phone screen.

My new LG 55" TV looks great. Setup was simple. I particularly like the remote, which makes access to menus very easy. The audio is good for basic TV speakers, but I plan to upgrade to better speakers.

Bought this for my kids and I to watch movies and gaming in our loft. Works great and picture is excellent especially for the price. 4K content looks amazing and picture is smooth. Xbox One and PS4 games look great too. There are televisions that look better but for the price this really exceeded my expectations. Apps are easy to use and has plenty of selection. Vudu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, and a lot more. Signing in to all of them is a pain but once you do it, all set up. Remote is great with wand feature makes it tons easier to type and setup apps or search. Remote can be used to control other devices plugged in to the tv if settings are done correctly.

This is a wonderful t.v. for the price. The apps (Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, STARZ) were easy to set up. We are also able to use Chromecast and Apple T.V. easily. We were able to use the t.v. right out of the box, and the picture is great. I love changing the picture settings (cinema, sports, gaming) based on what we’re viewing. My only complaint is that the picture can be dark in a room with dark-colored walls. I would have preferred a pedestal instead of the stand that the t.v. has, but that’s just a personal preference.

This is my 2nd Lg TV. I bought a 65 and now a 55 inch for the bedroom. And LG does Not disappoint on picture Quality and performance!!. Very Clear picture and 4K on this tv is Amazing!! I bought a Samsung 7series Crystal clear Last week for 4th of July coz it was on sale. Needless to say, I returned the Samsung to Bestbuy 5 days later. Lacks of quality picture. Very dark on the dark room and you can hardly see the people even I adjusted it already on max Brightness and the remote has a very slow response. I don’t experience that at all on LG’s Tv!! I’m very happy and satisfied!! Hands down on LG!! Take my word for it, you will not regret switching to LG brand!! I hope this helps!!

My family and I bought this TV after talking with a best buy employee. It is our first major flat screen purchase so we wanted something easy to control. The remote is very simple, it has excellent screen color, you can easily and clearly see it from an angle, easy to work with, and works nicely for running different apps. Tad bit pricey compared to some other options but we really liked it. Watch for it to go on sale, that helped us.

I have a 65" Samsung, this 55" LG and a 65" Vizio. The picture on the LG is better than any of the others. All of the televisions are newer than 4 years. The set up was super easy. Pretty much out of the box and plug and play. I like the apple air play. Works with my tablets, phone and macbook. Can't go wrong with this television. Lot of reviews compared this to the Samsung 8000 but after researching to death, I decided to go with the LG. Very pleased with this purchase. Purchased on sale during July 4th weekend which made it much better!
