We used this LG for about 2-3 weeks and returned it for another LG range. Reading the manual it stated that the oven light can be turned on/off 2 different ways- by tapping on the door twice and using the button on the control panel. This oven decided to add a third option- just turn on the light whenever it felt like it.
Last week, on the same day, I tried to cook on convection bake, convection roast and bake and set the temperature to 400. After a half an hour on each setting the oven temp never went above 225. I called the Geek Squad because of our Total Tech membership and they told me I'd have to contact LG, spend time with a tech on the phone and have to have a tech visit the house. I was within the return period so I returned it. Not working properly right out of the box.
When the delivery/installation person arrived the first thing he noticed was that the top of the control panel was not flat and that it was damaged. Upon further inspection, there was a crease in the middle of the top part of the control panel and creases on each end. The backing of the panel was slightly separated. The stove was probably dropped at some point? Can't blame BestBuy because it was delivered in the box. See the pictures.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Range (LRGN6325X) model. We appreciate the detailed feedback and understand how important it is for your appliance to perform reliably from the start.
The oven light should only activate via the control panel or the “knock knock” feature, so unexpected behavior may indicate a sensor or control board issue. As for the oven temperature not reaching the set point, that could stem from a calibration error or a faulty heating element. If this ever occurs again, we recommend running the Oven Calibration feature found under Settings > Oven Mode > Calibration to verify and adjust temperature accuracy. Great range. Boils water very quickly. The oven is very nice and heats up good food. Convection is great for cooking multiple things.
Hi, David. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Range (LRGN6325X) model. We appreciate the details you’ve provided, and understand how important it is for your oven to work reliably.
For this model, one helpful step is to perform a power reset by turning off the circuit breaker for about 5 minutes, then restoring power. This can sometimes clear control board issues that prevent the oven from heating. Additionally, make sure the gas supply valve is fully open and that the range is connected to a dedicated electrical line. For more information, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-electric-range-gas-range-power-issues--1430141359009. If the oven continues to fail after these steps, please send us an email at [email protected] so we can assist you further. ^Juvy
