So i went through some crazy times trying to find the perfect tv for me, so many 4k tvs. But what is the best? This TV! It like looking through a mirror, and the 3D is beyond anything ive seen beside IMAX viewings. I watched Guardians of the Galaxy in 3D was like when i saw it on screen. Pro 3D, Web OS 2, Dual Play, Harmon Kardon. Comes with 2pr glasses. Cons Light bending, LG store limited, 3 hdmi. But out of that it is a perfect TV!

This is the best tv I have ever owned. This picture is the best next to the oled. The 3D is also great.

I was able to purchase this TV at a great price point and I could not be happier! Best colors I have ever seen on an LED set and the 4K is stunning! Great interface with WebOS 2.0! I would highly recommend this TV!

Great TV. Like most others would tell you, it has some bleeding light. However, I use my projector to watch movies at night, so it doesn't bother me anymore. Beautiful TV with cool passive 3D.

Had the Samsung 9000 series curved for 2 weeks,the picture from the side viewing angle was lighter in color.This was our next choice which should have been our first. Picture quality is by far better from any angle .Remote is also user friendly.

This tv is incredible. I actually find myself staring at it while off, because I love it so much. Seriously though, the picture is incredible, the smart tv functions are pretty good, the remote works well, and everybody comments on how amazing it is, in every way. The 3D looks great and I love the way it can convert anything into 3D. Not hitting you in the face 3D, but pretty good. Plenty of plug ins for all the media. Can't comment on the sound though, because I've got a soundbar.

While this set has excellent picture and good Passive 3d (no high cost shutter glasses, a big plus), the upscaling of media to 4K at home from cable is not as sharp as some UHD sets. All else is excellent and easy to use.

Tried to decide between the Sony 850c, the Samsung 7100 and the LG 8600. At the time all were within 100 dollars of each other. In my mind, Sony was a leader of the past. I liked the sound system on the LG and the ability to use my existing speakers and not need additional sound equipment. I have had the tv for 7 weeks. No regrets so far and hope not to have any in the future

I had my eye on this for some time and was able to purchase as a Floor model. I was torn between the LG and Sony until I read the reviews for the Sony. I wanted the 3D feature and especially the passive 2D-3D capability. I have now had the TV for over a month and enjoy it greatly. True 3D is Fabulous and very Enjoyable. 2D - 3D conversion works, but watching a Blue Ray cast in 3D is the best. The Folks at Best Buy were great to work with and helped in my decision. Since this was a floor model I did get the 5 year extended warranty. The other driving force for the LG and in particular this model was that it has the forthcoming HDR technology covered and so I felt that I would be future proofing my purchase. What is HDR? It deals with the way the Color and Contrast will be handled in the TV's coming down the line. There are 2 versions (think Beta vs VHS battle) and LG will handle both. The blacks are black and watching sports is so very, very nice (no Pixelation so far)! There are many settings on the TV menu and so getting the picture to where you like is most possible. I chose this over OLED and Curved for the Value with Curved only as a gimmick and OLED way more money for same features. Word of caution: Take Measurements of the room and how far (everyone) will be sitting from the Screen. Note: close to the TV is just as important as far since you are usually not the only person watching. Once you have your distance from the TV, google best screen size calculators on what will work best for your room remembering that the largest may not be the best for your application. I work in the Audio Video field for a large Commercial AV integrator.

Love the TV, better than LED with the micro crystal display and 3D option

This is a great television with an ultra clear picture and wonderful 3d technology.

I love my tv so much. Perfect size for a "movie screen" experience in an average size living room. I wouldn't want any bigger. The clarity and color are beyond my expectations. I absolutely love it. Don't forget to check prices while in the exchange period. Use Best Buy's price match guarantee and you could save hundreds like I did.

Great TV for the money. This TV does everything I want to do. The pictures as good as I hoped. It easily and a great event and all my other systems. I am happy with this purchase.

I did lots of research before making the jump to 4k. I was replacing a 48" LG 1080p LED so I wanted a passive 3D tv so that I wouldn't have to replace all of our glasses. I also wanted some level of future proofing so ideally, I wanted something that was HDR compatible. Without shelling out $5000 for an OLED, this tv had it all. Coming from an older LG, the light bleeding isn't as big off an issue for me. It is noticeable but something that you most likely will deal with on anything less than an OLED. Overall the picture is great. WebOS is excellent and very easy to use. Netflix and Amazon prime are faster through WebOS than on the new Apple tv. Amazon Prime does stream in 4k HDR, so for those asking, this tv is definitely HDR compatible. This tv is also DirecTV 4k ready, so you don't need an additional box, the tv runs the DirecTV app where you can access 4k movies and the soon-to-be launched 4k broadcast channel (The Masters in 4k anyone). You will need to call DirecTV and get someone to come out but the process was fairly easy. Overall, I'm very happy with this tv and would recommend it to anyone who wants a solid 4k HDR capable tv, still watches 3d movies, and doesn't want to take the $5000 leap to OLED yet.
