First off I think this is a great TV for $1000 of course its not going to look as good as one that cost more thats why its cheaper. But anyhow the TV itself is very slim and sleek It looks great mounted on the wall in my living room. Yes it is only 60Hz native and 120Hz effective but it works for me I haven't noticed any problems with lagging or anything like that it looks great. I would say that is the only aspect of the TV thats not Fully understood by most people.but All in all a great TV you should give it a shot and if you don't like it just take it back simple as that.

Ive had this tv for 2 days now.. and i gotta say... im enjoying the tv very much.. I have verizon cable service and the picture is good.. But the best pictures ive been getting are with my blu ray player, netflix and youtube.. the picture is way better then my old 50 lcd...I plan on getting 4k blu ray upscaler to maximize the picture.. also using my samsung note 5 with no IR blaster I download an app called lg webos magic remote and to my suprise the magic remote worked.. :-) So with that im assuming the lg magic remote is compatible with this model... the best part of it all... is the price ! DEFINITELY GET THIS TV ! Britten house 88 said it best, This TV is awesome for the money, but don't expect perfection for $1000. This is like buying the base model 3 series vs the M3. It's still a BMW, but it's not going to have all the power and features of the flagship models.

I bought his TV at the local BBY on Nov 24th for $850 before tax. Took it home and open the box immediately. The setup was fairly easy, but the default picture quality was very disappointing. Thought about returning it the next day, but then I started reading the reviews. I came across one about the setup and picture quality adjustment. I followed his recommendations, and the picture got drastically better. Thank you, Sir! So, we decided to keep it after all. We use it mainly to watch public broadcasts using the indoor antenna and to watch the DVD movies. Have not tried any of the internet functions or the 4K sources yet. So far so good. I think it's going to be a keeper, so we'll buy a 3-year extended warranty for it soon to add to the one year from the mfr. Pros: Great value, ultra thin, very good picture quality even with the basic indoor antenna. Cons: The remote control is a joke....very tiny with tiny buttons and is very basic. The "inputs" have to be switched every time you switch the sources (the Samsung that this one replaces would automatically turn on and recognize the HDMI input from the DVD player when the player is turned on. Likewise it would automatically switch from whatever source that is being watched to the DVD when the player is turned on). A small inconvenience but it does get annoying sometimes.

I love been wanting a 65 inch tv, and have been waiting for 4k to come down in price. I found exactly that with this TV. Are their better tvs out there? Sure. I definitely think there are better tvs. But for the price in this one you cannot go wrong. As long as it lasts I'm very happy with my purchase. Now there is not much 4k content out there. I'm not ready to pay Netflix more money for what little content they have available but pulling up videos through YouTube in 4k look superb. Gaming is solid on it. Only thing I've been displeased with is my Netflix app will not work at all, even after hard reseting the TV. I have to contact Netflix to figure out what's going on. OS could be a bit faster on the TV too.

We wanted a larger TV than our 6 year old 48" JVC LED. Took advantage of the early Black Friday pricing from BestBuy for this replacement. Compared tirelessly online, and looked at other cheaper options, at other stores. Pictures on others were extremely pixelated around moving objects, not on this one. I really notice ghosting on TV's (from online research, some people don't), and there is none on this one. This is the best 65" TV for the money! We run XBox360 and Roku2, and just use an antenna for TV. Amazing picture quality all around! Fits perfectly on our 60" wide entertainment center. It only has (1) composite, (3) HDMI, (1) ethernet, and (1) optical audio out connections. Connections were bare minimum for what we needed; but, may not be enough for others. The "smart" part of it is acceptable...nothing ground breaking, but we weren't buying it for this feature. Download and response time is fine (we have cable internet); the TV is plugged into the router (it has Wi-Fi if you need wireless connection). Netflix loads faster than on the Roku2. Sound is good...a little more bass than our old set. Added bonus: LG is manufactured and assembled in the USA!

We bought this 65 inch TV on a Black Friday special. Installed the accessory Mount, fished the wire through the wall, and had a big and beautiful TV wall mounted with hidden wires. Problem: DirecTV had a screen message that incompatible service. I called DirecTV and they said the TV does not have a Copyright Protection built-in and I must use component cables, rather than HDMI. So I did. It was still fairly Hi-Def. I emailed LG about this problem, and the message replied they would rather talk to me personally, so please provide a telephone number. LG never called. Not happy with LG customer service. However, I decided to plug in the HDMI cable to see if there was any change, and now it works!! Problem solved. So my best guess, is that when I went into settings to activate the wi-fi connection, the LG must have updated its software to make this incompatibility work. It also took a while to be able to download all my Apps, ie, Pandora, etc. I don't see Sirius available. Be patient for all the updates to install. So I am happy with all the features, the picture is beautifully colorful, and the sound is great. My recommendation is to get on the Internet as soon as possible, and also, setup your color preferences (for me it was either Game or Vivid). A few reviews were critical about the blacks not being dark enough, but for me, it was getting off the default Standard color, and finding my preferences of color and contrast. We also have a glare on the screen, it is shiny, so we turn it somewhat away from the window. We are impressed on how thin the frame is, and how thin the TV is. But it is a 65 inch, it is heavy, you need 2 people. So far, we are totally happy with this TV, and loved the price. With our Bose sound system, we have a theatre experience.

I bought it online during Christmas. I did not have all the feature (like 3D), but it did have 4K and Smart TV. For $1k price tag, it is good deal. The only complain is about the remote. It should has a little keyboard for browser. Otherwise, it is painful to use. I got around using a Logitech K400 wireless keyboard. It works well..

Bought this TV online on a pre-Black Friday sale and it arrived within a week in perfect condition. It replaced a 65" Vizio Smart LED TV that we thought had a great picture until we saw the colors and detail on this...Wow! This LG is also significantly thinner and lighter, and with a very thin border/frame it looks even bigger than the Vizio. Factory settings on the colors are modifiable and the menus are very easy to use. The initial settings are a little too dark-- we prefer the Vivid picture setting for better definition in the dark colors. The built-in apps are easier to use than the Vizio ones, too. Overall, we're very happy with this purchase!

I love this tv, it is crystal clear and streams everything smoothly. We use Xbox one, wii U, Netflix, and flash drives through the USB without issues. I don't see the problem that some people have mentioned about these tv's not having a good remote, I think the remote is just fine, it has all the needed functions to watch tv. I like LG products and my last LG plasma tv still runs great 11years later, never replaced a single part on it! Hope this one can last just as long... For the price we paid I can't believe we got to upgrade to a 4K ultra HD tv by such a large name brand. Ended up buying the 65" and the 49"

The picture is excellent and the sound is better than expected. The 4K screen is fantastic and the upscaling doesn't leave large artifacts or ghosts. Netflix and Vudu on the TV look fantastic, especially when watching native 4K shows. It works great for PS4 and Xbox One, though they don't output 4K so it won't look much better than a standard HD tv. The colors are bright and vivid and the LED screen works great in highly lit areas. The TV is very thin and fits nicely up on a wall.

Initially I was a bit skeptical about the tv, being that it was a bf deal, I'm glad I bought it, after getting my directv service connected and seeing the channels in HD instead of regular broadcast, wow! What a difference. .. great quality at a even better price.

We got this TV a couple of days before Black Friday because it was such a good deal and didn't have to wait in any lines. The TV is easy to use and the picture is outstanding. Actually depending on what you are watching the picture is so clear that it looks fake or that you are watching a B movie. My husband loves watching sports on it! There was enough HDMI plugs but did only have one AVI plug, this was not an issue for us but might be for someone else.

Absolutely amazing picture quality! I could not be more pleased with my purchase. I have been using the new 4K UHD TV now for about a month, and I am awe struck every time I turn it on. The ease of use is a bonus, from switching between input modes and jumping from Netflix to Amazon Prime. The built in speakers do not put out much sound, but I planned on adding a sound bar before I purchased the TV anyways, so its not a big deal.

This TV is absolutely great. I mounted this TV to the living room area and it has been absolutely wonderful. I only use it for casual TV and it works very well. I was in the market for a 4K TV and wasnt comparing the specs versus other 4K TV's and this has been perfect. I really believe if you are in the market a solid 4K TV - You should go with a LG. It is just as good as Samsung (I previously used a Samsung TV).

Picture quality is excellent. Color is vivid and sharp even with fast moving scenes. Sound is on a par with other TV's of class. Lacks fidelity. Not good, particularly on sports broadcasts where crowd noise makes it hard to understand commentary. Added good quality surround sound system using optical interface and issue was resolved.
