I was looking for a 2nd TV to put in my basement for gaming and chose this one for the specs and quality it offered for a great price.

I really don't like to write bad reviews, but I'm incredibly disappointed with this TV. As you can see from my picture there are lots of cloudy areas on the screen when the picture is black. I only turned off the lights in my room to take the picture so I could see the cloudy areas better because I noticed them with the lights on. I've also had problems with blur and halos. I've only had the TV for one week. Sales associate at BestBuy really hyped up the QNED technology to prevent a dark picture and inconsistent colors, but I'm not seeing it. Maybe I just got a bad one, and the next one will be better? But I'll definitely have to return this one. I've tried different picture settings too, and viewing modes, but nothing seems to help. I don't understand what's wrong because everyone else seems to love this TV. Honestly, I'm really bummed out because I needed a new TV and now returning this one is going to be a hassle; I can't transport it myself because my car is too small. Hopefully the free delivery service that brought it will take it back for no charge, and deliver another for no cost as well. Hope you have my back BestBuy. I will update this review pending further developments.

Hi, Henry. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with the LG TV (65QNED70AUA) model. We appreciate you letting us know about the screen performance and viewing issues.
For this model, one helpful step is to enable the Local Dimming feature in the Picture Settings menu, which helps reduce cloudy areas and improve contrast in dark scenes. Adjusting the Picture Mode to Cinema or Filmmaker Mode can also minimize blur and halos by optimizing motion settings. The LG QNED70A is an excellent mid-range 4K TV with bright colors, sharp picture quality, and a smooth smart TV experience. It performs especially well in bright rooms, making movies, sports, and streaming look vibrant and clear. webOS is fast and easy to use, and the TV has a sleek premium design that feels more expensive than its price. It’s not OLED-level for deep blacks, but for most people, it delivers fantastic value and an enjoyable everyday viewing experience.

I couldn’t be happier with this TV. From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality truly stands out — vibrant colors, rich contrast, and 4K clarity that makes everything from movies to sports look stunning. The Dynamic QNED Color and Alpha AI processing bring visuals to life in a way that’s far above what I expected at this price point. The webOS smart platform is smooth, intuitive, and gives easy access to all my favorite streaming apps — plus gaming integrations like GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming make this screen a lot more versatile. I also appreciate how well the TV performs in bright rooms — it gets plenty bright without losing clarity, and the overall setup was quick and painless. All around, this TV exceeded my expectations in picture, smart features, and overall value. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family!

This replaced a 55" Panasonic that was damaged at home. The setup was quick and easy. Haven't had any problems so far and the picture is great especially for what we spent.

Strong picture, simple remote, and good soundbar compatibility. The software lags sometimes, but for the price it feels like a steal.

Got this on sale for Black Friday and it has been great. Brightness, HDR, and image quality are great for the price. The TV speakers are solid as well although I do opt to use a soundbar. Good port options in compared to other modern tvs in the price range. Wish it was 120 HZ but very manageable for the price.

Terrific picture quality and has all the apps. I bought this LG as an update to our TV which did not have 4K resolution. We are extremely pleased with the picture quality and ease of operation. I would recommend this for the quality and value.

I’m really happy with the picture quality and how easy the setup was. The colors are bright, the sound is clear, and the interface feels very user-friendly.The only thing I noticed is that sometimes the system can be a bit slow when switching apps, but nothing major

I spent way too much time making a decision before purchasing. This was the absolute best bang for the buck I could find, while sticking with a major brand. I upgraded from a 50” Samsung UHD LED from 2018 and the step up was incredible. OLED might be better, but no TV is worth more than $500 to me given how little I watch, but it has made movie nights so much fun.

Versatile TV allowing us to interface with it via Googlecast and Apple Airplay. Not many TV's allow both products to interface with it, Great picture and easy to setup.

Gift for girlfriend. She loves the size and picture quality and the LG ui is a bug step up from Fire tv.
