Had an LG C2 OLED TV for just over a year before it started to have burn-in. I did ALL the things recommended to avoid burn (which made the picture noticeably less "awesome") and it still happened. My Mom watches about 4-6 Hours of MSNBC everyday. Burn in was first noticed at just under 10 months but did not appear on the picture for long after turning on. 3 months later, it was so bad that the MSNBC logo was VERY apparent on any black and white movie. LG made a great TV, but the panel technology is just not suitable for 65% of TV watchers out there. If it were my own personal TV exclusively, I might have gotten 3-4 years. The LG QNED 8K is less awesome than the first time I turned on my LG C2. But it took about a week of watching before I said "this is AWESOME too" You can get SLIGHT blooming on a static image of like the moon in a movie like, I don't care. Blacks, while not OLED inky-smooth, are the BEST I've ever seen on a TV not including the OLED. Oh, and its 8K! It may, or may not be the future, but it will probably not go away from youtube any time soon. Watch an 8K HDR video on the TV's own built in youtube app. YOU. WILL. BE. BLOWN. AWAY

I was originally going to get the LG G1 Oled, but decided to go with this set because it is in my living room which gets pretty bright during the days. My impressions after having it for just a short time... Great build quality, just seems the feet are a little small and not as beefy as they should be, but it holds the tv up fine with no issues. Set up is pretty straightforward, one thing I found annoying is the voice guidence that is automatically on when you first turn on the tv.. my little gripe but I shut that off. With Local dimming on high and some small calibrations that I took off of the web. The blacks are really nice and color pops. Now I am no calibration expert or tv reviewer but it is a beautiful picture. I tried YouTube 8k and it is phenominal. Magic remote is cool and is easy to navigate around the tv, a nice touch is the built in voice assistant when you hit the button on the remote. Playing Xbox Series X is great, fast response time with no lag and the picture is awesome... Web Os has a very nice interface and is easy to move through and navigate although it is a little sluggish when it comes up which I hope they fix in a future software update. I don't know about the sound quality of the tv as I have it hooked up to my Yamaha sound projector. The Tv is about $51.00 a year to operate and I noticed that this tv gives off more heat (alot more) than my previous tv. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy this tv again.

This tv is capable of some great visuals from my high end PC and GPU. Keep in mind this is an 8K tv not just a 4K tv so there's untapped future potential. Gaming at 8K is possible albeit at below 60 FPS unless willing to turn down some details. Doom Eternal, Forza Horizons and Gears 5 running in 8K 7640x4320 is sick!! Currently not many 8K video content sources but with the improvements to compression (AV1/VP9/H266) there are 8K streams on YouTube. Should be maybe 1-2 years before we see major video platforms like Netflix or Prime video offer some 8K. Cons to the TV are the high price, and like the Nano99 some off angle viewing can still be a problem with blooming and dimming zones being visible. These issues are improving with each firmware update, but I doubt they will be completely eliminated. My Xbox series X also works great on this tv at 4k120 without issue with Dolby Vision on. Dolby Vision 4k120 is something even Samsung and Sony TV's don't support.

I couldn't tell you how movies look but this tv was built for the xbox series x. Colors and sound are amazing and when you adjust the settings right on the xbox for each game, it can push 4k 120 for online gameplay or 60hz ray tracing campaign at perfect visuals. All boxes are checked on the xbox including Dolby vision gaming. A plus is the future proof for 8k games when they become available and the a9 processor performs as dreamed. Game lag is noticed i think with Dolby on (not big concern), mini led makes dark scenes dark like oled and tv does generate noticeable heat around tv but I have no problems and no regrets people, look no more!

Excellent picture and sound quality. Also outstanding for high res gaming. The only thing I find disappointing is viewing angle. My previous LG TV had a much wider viewing angle.

Good TV. However does not compare too an OLED TV. Really I was not able too see the 8K difference even on you tube. Picture is nice but depends a lot on the source and the scenes. However if you like a nice bright picture this TV has it. The blacks are also very good and the viewing angle is good.

Very little instructions or detailed manuals to assist with setup. States that the tv upscales all inputs, yet no information telling you how make this happen. Only way I found to do upscale is by using my receiver to do it. However, once the receiver upscales the source material, this tv does a good job at presenting it in 8k. Picture quality doesn’t match that of the oled tvs, but makes up for it by its low price.

Best TV I've ever bought and I'm considered a senior citizen. The picture quality is exactly the way the in store rep said it would be: BREATHTAKING! 8K even running 4K videos are mind-boggling! Would have appreciated a complimentary screen cleaning kit when I purchased it, because the delivery tech advised me it voids the warranty to wipe the screen with anything but a microfiber towel used only for the TV.

I went looking for a sharper and brighter TV than my standard 4K UHD. Everyone who's seen it comments on it being the sharpest picture they've seen. I got it on early Black Friday sale price, and would not pay the retail for it, but for $1500, it's really excellent.

I'm very happy with the quality of the picture I get from this TV. My only complaint is that I would like to be able to delete certain items from the main menu so it's easier to select the inputs I do want. Aside from that I'm pleased with this TV and will recommend it to anyone looking for a higher resolution TV.

Avoided OLED for potential Burn-in, so next best choice at a grand off retail, gets good black and the 8K worth of awesome color; odd Sports view; good Vivid and Filmmaker views; not so good interface and magic remote
