This has been a great purchase. The picture quality is stunning, as well as the sound. My previous t.v was also an LG, smart 4k ultra hd, which was great, but I can tell a big difference with my new t.v., such as, the color is more rich and vivid, and so much easier to see what is going on when I watch scenes that are dark. I mainly use it to stream Netflix or Amazon Prime t.v, so I don’t know what regular cable or satellite t.v would look like, but as long as it offers HD channels, I would assume great. Most of what I stream is HD, a lot of shows still haven’t updated to 4K or Dolby yet, and the picture quality still outranks other t.v’s I have watched. You won’t regret purchasing this television! I always read reviews so I hope this helps.

I added this 65” LG to our new living room and also get Best Buy service to get it installed !! This TV is a fantastic easy to set up smart bright TV. Way better than other TVs I had before. It came perfectly packed, just pull up the box. It was super easy to unpack. The LG smart controller is awesome and responds well to voice commands. Good features !! The sound system is excellent I don’t need a Home theater. This TV is a great value for the money.

    Perfect for Movies / Gaming

First, please understand that I have not owned or even had a chance to view a OLED TV - other than what is on demonstration in the stores. I did some research, and I knew the amount of gaming that took place - most likely a OLED was not the smartest decision. I budgeted myself and started looking. It was time to upgrade from my Samsung. This teamed up with my Panasonic UB820 really makes for a pleasant movie experience. I think I am still going through the settings and finding what works / looks the best in my room -- but I'm using RTings settings for the LG B8 as a reference point. Right now movies look great! Cable even looks really good ... and just as importantly, Games look fantastic (Xbox One X & PS4 Pro) Setting up the “Magic” remote was a snap and everything works perfectly with it. This is a great TV and getting it on sale makes the experience even more enjoyable. If your concerned that gaming will cause “burn-in” on an OLED, this is the perfect middle to consider.

Great picture and decent sound. This bad boy is a great step up from my old 42 inch RCA. The remote is a pointer device that makes navigating easy. It has Google assistant or Alexa built in and works with apple homekit. Also has apple TV built in. Pretty tight tv.

This tv has a great picture, processing speed, and the OS is smooth throughout quickly changing between Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. initially wanted an OLED but went with this for the price and brighter picture for a bright room. Not disappointed so far.

Very nice tv. Extremely crisp and clear. No motion lag and very good sound without a bar. I also love all the smart apps that are built in or available for download. Remote is easy to figure out and very responsive.

I have had this TV since May 2019 & did not realize the quality of the TV that I owned. I was attempting to upgrade to an LG LED TV before I really gave this TV a chance. I was in the process of accepting an exchange when I talked to my Deliveryman & explained how I was not totally loving the TV. I was watching regular shows with 720p service & did not understand why my picture wasn't as beautiful as that which I had seen in the Store display. He showed me the difference in the quality of the picture which is dependent upon the content that is being sent to it. He set my TV for Optimal Performance within my Space & showed me what flawless picture I would get in 4K streaming & I fell in Love. I refused the LED TV although there wasn't much difference in price because it is so easy to operate with my Streaming Prime Videos, YouTube Videos, Netflix & other compatible Smart products. I am so Happy with my Choice, which was not made lightly. I just Love My wall mounted NanoCell with Sonos Beam & Sonos Ones. The Movies are over Here!

I am possibly a sales persons worst nightmare, I am a chronic procrastinator that over analyzes every purchase. I studied and compared refresh rates, panel design, backlighting, contrast, CPU’s, not to mention operating systems. The LG nano 9 is the clear winner and Best Buy is the place to purchase. Patrick and Joe at Eastgate rock, and the TV is perfect. The best value/picture/sound for the money. Although not the cheapest TV , it has the best picture for the money. It is LGs top LED TV , and although OLED looked slightly better for 40% more, I felt the panel’s are to fragile. 65” is a great size, get one now, it’s a no brainer..

I finally made the jump to 4K, and this LG doesn't disappoint! The picture is crisp and crystal clear. It uses a ton less energy than my old 1080p Samsung. Unfortunately, the stand was not very stable. The TV's resting position was not horizontal, and the smallest bump would make the TV rock back and forth. Had to buy a 65" center stand from Amazon. Now everything is secure and I couldn't be happier!

This is a great tv for a medium sized room. The viewing angles are great. This TV is perfect for lightly lit rooms and bright rooms. In a very dark room the backlighting is extremely noticable and there is a little streaking in action shots. Other than that it is amazing. The LG system is easy to use. The mouse feature is awesome and makes inputting your password so easy. I love this TV better than my Vizio P series in the bedroom.

We absolutely love this tv in our living room. The picture is great but does lack sound for an open concept home with 3 kids. We normally just turn on the sound bar when needed.

LOOK AT THE PHOTOS! In well lite room tv looks pretty good. The SM9000 blocks glare / light reflection pretty good. I was pretty happy with my purchase TILL i had movie night with the family and was pretty annoyed at the picture quality in dark rooms with dark scenes. The blacks look really grayish and the local dimming is pretty bad with way too much blooming i had to keep local dimming off . There was big brown spots on the screen that would only appear in low to mid to dark scenes no matter what i did even changed my AudioQuest HDMI cables to make sure . The reason why this tv looks so amazing at best but is they run full upscaling content and you in bright environment. Once you bring it home you will see the disappointment in mild to low light rooms. My LG UB8200 55 inch produces way better black and its from 2015 and its not nano cell. I really wanted to keep this tv but its not right for me so i returned it. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS OF SM9000 vs UB8200

It’s a nice upgrade from a Samsung curve. You have to mess with the settings to get the picture jus right. The magic remote is sweet.

Spectacular TV. Has a great picture, plenty of connection options and supports all the apps you want. I got it with the LG sound bar, and it pairs perfectly for better sound and a little “umph” without having to go full blown receiver setup. Highly recommend this or similar.

The TV is a beautiful made TV.. and in bright rooms the colors are beautiful. But dark scenes and dark rooms the blacks are horrible this TV only has 48 zones of dimming on a direct lit backlighting screen which is capable I'm up to a hundred. Which translates into horrible blooming. For gamers they really take a hit on this. Because of it I would not recommend this TV. It can make games unplayable and movies unwatchable.. if they were to fix this it would be a lot better of a TV. But we all know LG will not... This TV picture quality is not the greatest. Do not put the local dimming on high because it will just Crush objects. Do low or medium. Because there's just not enough zones in this TV
