I purchased the dryer as an alternative to my 15 year old electric dryer. It is amazing how much better this dryer runs. Love everything about it. Speed, a few settings that I actually use, easy to work. Great overall price for what you get. Highly recommend.

Of course, love the dryer perhaps mostly because it's new and works! Had to replace previous Kenmore that failed at just about the 7 year mark. I chose this dryer because I did not want to modify setup for steam feature and it's likely I'd never use that feature anyway. The controls are easy to learn and use, but I tend to stick with one or two basic settings. Wrinkle rid feature is a plus and does help. This dryer is pretty quiet and the chimes are more pleasant than the standard buzz when cycle complete. Pause button is also very convenient. Would prefer to have put on pedestal (a luxury) as access involves a bit of bending, although it's not uncomfortable. Also chose the brand because after having Kenmores and GE's have been dissatisfied with failure of parts and repairs that should not have been necessary at that stage. According to my research involving several consumer product ratings guides and owner comments, LG has one of the better performing trouble free lifespans on their appliances. I'd be happy to let you know if that is true in 7 years! Also, price was right. Price was lowered within 2 weeks of purchase and Best Buy returned difference, no problem. Very pleased with machine and Best Buy cooperation. Customer service on site was great too!

I was so nervous to finally make this purchase. But I'm so glad I did! I read all the reviews and frankly was tired of thinking about it. We had the same used stuff for 13 years and it was time. Set up and install went great, the machine is very quiet and dried clothes thoroughly, not to mention it looks great and the jingles are awesome!

Got a great deal on this LG gas dryer over the July 4th holiday sale. Did my research on other major brands and other major competitors and Best Buy offered the best price with best financing terms with my Best Buy Credit Card, plus delivery was quick (2 days) and free. This LG gas dryer doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the higher end models, but for the price compared to the higher end models, this model works efficiently and effectively. This is my first gas dryer (compared to my old electric dryer) and drying times have been quick. Plus the capacity is so large that I can get everything dried in two loads or less. Very happy with this purchase.

Dryer has all the bells and whistles you would expect at this price point. My one concern is that when drying on the delicate setting, it never seems to completely dry the clothing the first time, more time has to be added. However, small inconvenience overall for a quiet, well made dryer.

I love this new dryer! It is easy to operate, has all the cycles that I could ever want, is economical, and even nice to look at! I am so glad that I got it!

We've used it for a month now and it performs well as compared to other dryers we've had over the years. It is a bit noisier than our last LG dryer, but this is our only negative issue with it. Our salesman was very helpful when we purchased it.

without the steam feature, but my old one did not have it too. i just need a dryer to dry my clothes after wash. push button and go away. Come back with dry clothes. That's it.

Great dryer with one minor hiccup. Jeans do not completly dry with auto settings. You have to do a custom setting.

Great dryer for what it cost; BB price matched to another store so we actually got it cheaper than sale price. It does not have as many cycles as other more expensive units, but we did not want to spend $1,000+. We do a lot of laundry at our hose with 3 kids, so this dryer replaced a much older unit. We are hoping this newer model will reduce our utility bill by drying more efficiently. Have used dryer for a little over a month and has worked great.

I would not buy another dryer from another manufacture.I am very happy to have this LG product.

Bought this dryer as an open ticket item and it has not disappointed at all. We use it at a veterinary hospital and it handles commercial type loads.
