Easy to use, works great and very affordable dryer

I love how you can open the door two different ways. The sensor works great to get your clothes dry just right. The LED drum light is a nice feature. One of my favorite features is the Wi-Fi connectivity. You can check the progress of the cycle on the app and it alerts you when the load is done wherever you are.

It took me a few to figure out how to use the internet connection, but I live the washer and dryer we bought. Great combo package. Can wash whites with colors and whites come out super white!! Need a very good w/d combo, this is the one. Reasonably priced, very big inside and does a great job cleaning clothes.

The dryer itself works fine. Two-way door is a nice feature and works well so far. Time will tell if the "convertible hinge" is well engineered or a maintenance issue. The dryer seems to be more efficient than our old (15 years) model, clothes get fully dry faster and with what seems like less heat. Nice. The Best Buy contracted delivery, setup and haulaway went fine. Only problem, and the reason for the headline, is the side vent kit. The dryer is built for it, LG (and others) make it, but Best Buy doesn't sell it. Getting it on line turned out to be much, much more of a hassle and expense than I ever would have imagined. LG price is twice what you can find elsewhere, and delivery is slow, so much so that I had to reschedule the dryer installation and go without a dryer for a week longer than if Best Buy could just stock the part and deliver it with the dryer.

We bought the Geek Squad protection and I think that was a good decision! The dryer light keeps notifying us the lint filter needs to be cleaned, but when we check the filter, it has nothing in it. It happens when the load is a bit on the fuller side but not overloaded for sure. We reset the button and start again and may have to repeat several times to get the clothes dry. It is very frustrating, but we will try a few more fuller loads before we engage the Geek Squad. Not sure I could recommend it at this point, but I will update in a month or so if we can somehow get this resolved. As of now, I probably would not recommend to a friend. As a positive, I like the appearance and that the door will open either to the side or down. Ultimately it doesn’t matter though if we have to babysit every load of laundry.

We bought this dryer to replace the one we’d had for 20 years. We are very pleased. It has the large capacity we wanted and all the features we were used to with our old dryer…and then some. We didn’t think we would use the Wi-Fi much but it really does come in handy to remind you that your clothes are dry.

Nice clean design. Nice layout for the controls. Love the ability to be able to create my own custom dry cycle. Very helpful that the door can open from the top or from the side. The dryer is in my basement so getting a notification on my phone that the dryer is done is very convenient.

Our 20+ year old dryer was still working but we needed to replace our 8 year old washer so opted to get a matching set. The new dryer works as advertised although it does take quite a bit of time to fully dry some loads. Overall it is quiet and does what it is supposed to do. We are happy with our purchase.

This dryer is efficient and very quiet. Super easy to use and I like the different settings.

Admittedly, I’ve only done 3 loads of wash so far, but this is a great washer. The controls are simple as are loading and putting in detergent and fabric softener. Also, very quiet! I expected to have shut the laundry room door, but it is pretty quiet for a washer!

I bought this dryer because my old one took 2 -3 hours to dry one load of clothes. Well upon my first use of this new dryer, my clothes did not fully dry and there was an error of D90 on the machine. At first I was upset, but then I went to the manual and looked up the error code. D90 meant my dryer vents in my house were 90% blocked. Apparently you are supposed to have those cleaned every 2 years which I did not know. I called a vent cleaning service the next day. After they cleaned the vents, I used the new dryer and my clothes came out completely dry. Even though I now know my other dryer probably wasn't broken, I'm still glad I purchased this dryer. The vent blockage detection feature makes it worth every penny.

I am very impressed with this LG clothes dryer. One unique thing I discovered is the dryer door can be opened two ways (pull down or Open from the side). A great feature! The dryer is very user friendly, and there are enough choices for drying categories. I

This dryer is just as good as the washer. The 2 ways to open the door is unique, the drum light is helpful for late night trips to the dryer, and it also sings like the washer. My only slight issue I have is that it's a little more difficult to turn on.

Dryer overall is great. It is quiet, able to handle a significant load and we like the notification chime, however, unless you download programs into your dryer, the settings are what they are. The only thing you can really change (That we have found) is the dryness setting. If I want to use "normal" I cannot change the heat setting to low. Overall, very pleased so far.

Replaced a 20 year old dryer, and had a bit of a time adjusting, but finally doing well. The door can open sideways and top to bottom, but only opens about 2/3 of the way-the only drawback. Quiet, lots of options for heat and time.

Bought the washer and dryer as a pair and love them. Tons of room, they adjust the cycle time based off of a scan of the clothes (even checking to see if things are still damp), and they even sing a little song to you when they're done.

This dryer has all of the proper settings that allow you to dry with minimum energy. The dryer will also stop when it senses that the clothes are dry, thus saving even more energy. The control panel is easy to use. I could not be happier

I purchased the dryer to replace a failing one. It was quick to connect and the app has been helpful. The initial setup of the app requires only moderate tech abilities. However, once connected we have been able to take advantage of remote start and remote alerts (no need for clothes to wrinkle because I am hanging out with the kids and didn't hear the buzzer. I now get an alert on my phone). We also have a vent stack that occasionally needs to be cleaned from outside, but its not easily visible so the ability for the system to alert us when the airflow starts getting restricted was both a great peace of mind item and a reassurance.
