This is the second LG dryer we have owned. Its quiet and effecient. Dryes everything typically on the first go. Excluding King size blanket. The musical chimes are cute and just loud enough to know the dryer is done. If you dont like the chimes, you can use the app and get notifications to your phone.

Only pro to this dryer is the large capacity. Cons include stupid door that opens to the side! When you open the door all the socks, dryer balls, small items fall right on the floor. The lint tray is absolutely horrible. Dumbest design ive ever seen! Its folded, so when you open it, the lint wafts in your face. Then you have to peel off the lint over the trash. The settings make so sense. You either have a preset of 35 minutes or 1:03 minutes. If you want anything else, you have to select a bunch of buttons. The app feature is nice. But i also have an LG fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave so im familiar with the app. As others stated, the machine does the classic LG "song" after each cycle. You cant turn it off. I am returning this set.

We only have LG appliances because they are top of the line. This LG smart dryer dries quickly and using the LG ThinQ app makes it even easier in conjunction with the LG smart washer to get the wash done quickly and efficiently. WiFi can be a bit difficult to set up.

Working like a champ need a another good machine hopefully it lasts more than 10 years

I love the new dryer and the fact that it tells me on my phone when my load is finished the only thing is i wish the normal dry dried a little better cause i have to put it on heavy load and also when i start the dryer it makes a humming noise but other than that i like it it

This dryer does a fantastic job, it is quick, efficient, and fairly quiet! It also looks fantastic with the brushed black finish! Im very happy with this purchase and though I've yet to empty out the lint trap, it's actually a pretty simple and standard process, so i expect no issue there. The smart features are also a welcome bonus as it may not be super useful all the time, it does give me status and health info about the dryer that lets me know things are doing what they're supposed to!

I’m very happy with my new LG gas dryer. The sleek black finish looks great in my laundry room, and the reversible door was easy to switch over. It dries clothes quickly and evenly, with plenty of cycle options that are simple to use.. If you're having trouble in the normal cycle, turn off the energy saver mode. The dryer runs quietly and feels well-built, Overall, it’s been reliable once we figure out all of the different modes, there's a bit of a learning curve

Have only used once so far. It’s quiet and efficient. Very happy so far. The black gets dusty and dirty easily.

It works like a charm. The installation of the washing machine and dryer, and the removal of the old units was seamless and professional. Since installation, the performance of the dryer has been excellent. The whole procedure was flawless. I would recommend this unit, purchased at Best Buy to anyone.
