First off let me say…”I am a Heavy Washer”!!!! We are a large family of 7 (2 adults & 5 teenagers)!!! So I am washing constantly (at least 10 loads a day). We purchased this set to replace an older model of the same LG set because of wear & tear after some years of heavy use on the washer. However, we prefer a matching set, so decided to get both! We received our new washing machine first. Our steam dryer came about 2 weeks later. Because of that I had already gotten familiar with the ThinQ app!!! I love it!!! No more guess work on when the load will be finished!!! It’s also perfectly paired together for the settings of how long to dry, after the washing cycle stops!!! Also, it’s very easy to download a more custom cycle (you can choose from lots of options in the app)!!! The dryer is pretty quite while it does it thing too!!! However, I will say if this is your first steam dryer you should know that you will need an additional hose to connect to the water hook ups. It’s called a Steam Dryer Installation Kit! You can purchase it@ the store whenever you buy your dryer. I hope this helps you while your making your decision to purchase or not to!!! Enjoy!!!!

Words can not describe how much I love this dryer. I LOVE THIS DRYER! It is quiet. It is quick. It is efficient. It is smart. I originally purchased another brand. A reliable brand. It just happened that the one I ordered was defective. After reading numerous articles about what dryer is the best on the market, I decided to return the defective one and go with a different brand. That’s how I found the LG dryer. Hands down best decision EVER. Our laundry room is in a small hallway that’s right off the living room and backs against a bedroom. So I needed quiet. I appreciate the technology we have for our home appliances that make our lives so much easier. I tell strangers about how quiet and how efficient this dryer is. It dries a load of towels on under 60 minutes! To say I’m one satisfied customer is an understatement.

We had a Samsung washer and dryer stackable. We had nothing but problems for 3 years. Finally decided to change everyone said LG. Well BestBuy made this experience great they had the set we wanted and was deliver in less then a week. Delivery drivers were polite professional and answered all questions. Now to the use of the washer and dryer. Very simple use but the thing I like the most is how quite these are you can not hear them running at all having the APP for them makes knowing they are ready to switch loads nice as well. Highly recommend bestbuy and LG washer and dryer

Purchased this to replaced a 20 year old top loader. I've had had a Samsung front loader system bedore, and didnt have any issue with it. However the LG had more features and options than the equivalent Samsung (price range) and i really never cared for the roundness of the Samsung models whereas the LG are more flat and squared. Installation was a piece of cake and settimg the washer up in the ThinQ software only tool a few minutes. The washer is one of the quietest washers i have ever heard!! Even at max spin, a baby coild be sleeping in a basket on top of the washer and the baby would not wake up!! I also purchased the matxhing dryer and the riser drawers for both. Extremely please with the performances and close come out extremely clean!!

Love this washer. Much quieter than my last. Easy button settings. No need to choose load size, it will spin and measure the load weight itself. It saves me on detergent as well.

Best dryer we have ever had. I have already had it for two years. A little pricey, but looks great. Has fast drying cycles. You can even adjust the heat if it is too hot. Only feature I’m not thrilled with is steam function. It basically sprays water in a stream on your clothes and doesn’t really steam. I’m not sure if it’s broke or that’s how it works. Large capacity. I also got the pedestal so I don’t have to bend over, and there is more storage. Overall really great dryer. I’m glad I spent the extra money and got what I wanted.

very low noise operation , energy efficient and easy to use

We've had this dryer for the last 3 months, and my wife tells me on average twoce a week that she loves it! So many settings that ensures effective and efficient drying of clothes, towels, bedding, etc.

Other than the pain/frustration of trying to get it into my all-too-small laundry room, this has been the best dryer I've ever owned/used. It's dry time is phenomenal and more options to do so than I knew existed. From big loads of towels to small loads of dress clothes, I have zero complaints.

This dryer works good - it dries the clothes quickly. It is set for 57 minutes but that can be changed if you need more or less time.

I love this dryer! It’s my first dryer that has all the intelligence functions as Wi-Fi and steam etc. my old dryer was burning clothes very old… this one is best of the best. With baby on the way I’m so appreciative to have steam function to disinfect garments etc. Would highly recommend to anyone who consider smart dryer. Totally worth it! And you can use LG ThinQ app to help you with your loads and connects to Wi-Fi!

It is easy to use, and it dries most items well. The top surface scratched easily when I moved a plastic hamper across, so I suggest you get a protective mat (see photo). It is not made as solidly as my previous (old) Dryer, so I find myself closing the door gently. I used to slam my old dryer door. I have used the steam option twice, and I am pleased with the result.

Very good machine, dries well, has a lot of drying options and let's me know when is done through the app. Easily dries queen sized blankets. Steam cycle is amazing!

Great washer/dryer pair. So quiet, holds big loads, and so many cycle options to choose from- love it! I love the steam option to freshen clothes, and it notifies my phone when the cycle is done. The pedestals are also a necessity for me - they are great storage and make it easier to load and unload laundry. Best Buy delivery and set up was the best ever- Highly recommend!
