    I like this TV so far. I had had other brands in the past without very good luck. This TV also has really good speakers.

    The TV is beautiful. I've picture is awesome. Kids loves to watch movies on it. Black ops 4 is beautiful on this tv.

    Horrible Customer Service & Warranty Process

    I would like to leave this review as a warning for future buyers of LG Products. I purchased this TV during Black Friday week. The TV was working excellent, met all my expectations, but 2 months into buying the TV, half the screen would go bright and the other dark. I unplugged all the connected devices and the TV kept doing it. I performed the built-in LG troubleshooting test and it requested me to call LG for repair as can be seen in the attached images. LG sent a technician to my house and the technician and LG agreed to repair the TV. I heard over the phone that it is an “led array failure”. It’s been over 1 month and to this day my TV has not been repaired. During this time frame, Multiple requests have been elevated so that I can get a refund or a replacement TV, each one has been denied because the part is supposedly available. I wait a few days and call back to get an update and the part is still not available, so they send another request and the same story again. This has happened over 3 times. I have spoken to regular representatives, supervisors, and even the escalation department. People from all 3 departments have told me that they will call me back with an update and I never receive a call back from LG. I have made a total of 15 calls and none of those 15 calls have been able to solve my issue. From one of the phone calls, a representative said that my TV had physical damage when that is a complete lie. I couldn’t believe when the representative said that, LG has never inspected the TV in their facility and the technician that came to my house never reported or saw any physical damage. If there was any physical damage, the repair wouldn’t had been approved. LG has been very unprofessional. OLED TV’s are very nice, and I was looking forward on getting one in the next year or two but I will never purchase another LG product again. LG doesn’t stand by their product, their customer support is not helpful at all, and their warranty process is very frustrating. They have lost me as a customer for life. I will comment on this review as my situation is updated.

    So the TV is beautiful looking outside, slick, modern. I haven’t had a chance to look at the webos deal since I have a 4K fire stick. It works fine paired with it. But that’s it... that is when the magic ended. The blacks are horrible (as somewhat expected from an LED) but there are huge artifacts that the LEDs create and makes watching tv very annoying. My 12 year old Sony Viera LCD TV never had this issue. So what did I do?? I went to The Best Buy website and in the order page was directed to call the Geek Squad... man, what a waste of time. The guy said, “oh that is a backlight bleed... all the TVs have it, only OLEDs don’t. You will have to live with it because you are past the return window....” Hmmmm, the return window closes tomorrow actually, I told him. He then redirected me to speak with the store for return options. Can I recommend this TV to anyone?? No Can I recommend the Geek Squad support?? Absolutely No!!! I think I’m going to get stuck with this TV because the unwillingness of the representative to understand the issue and provide resolution.

    Best 4K out there under $1,000

    Place this on a stand, not a wall mount and you won’t believe you are not inside a movie theatre. Very wide tv stand. It’s wider than you think. The TV when first turned on, is not very impressive by color and contrast settings. Here is how you make it look Wow! Use the remote to change the view to “Vivid picture” or “sports mode” 2. Then go to “all settings” at the bottom 3. Turn off “energy saving” 4. Click on “additional settings” 5. Very important: click “HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color” 6. “Click on whichever HDMI port you use and watch the insane picture quality go way up! This picture now looks almost better than the Quantum $2,000 plus TVs. The 70” is absolutely perfect and a game changer. I don’t even want to go to theatres anymore. Paid $700.00 plus taxes and warranty. Around $850.00 total and I could not be happier

    Was moving so I waited 10 days to set up new tv. 5 minutes after setup a 6” vertical strip developed. Only have 5 days left to return. Glad I did t wait any longer. Hopefully I can get another. Seems like a nice tv. But it’s discontinued.
