Very easy set up and great picture. Being able to use smart tv technology is a wonderful thing. Plus Best Buy had a great price for this big 70 " tv.

Bought this before BF and got a great deal, but the TV is overall awesome. Every channel, dvd, blu-ray looks outstanding and 4K is eyepopping. Awesome features and apps, but the surprise is how good the sound is on this thing.

SO I HAD A 55" LG THAT STARTED TO GO OUT ON THE COLOR. THE CHARACTERS WOULD TURN INTO GREEN ALIENS AND IT WAS GETTING A BIT ANNOYING EVEN DURING MY GAME PLAY. BUT I WAS GOING TO RUN THIS TV DOWN TO ITS LAST BIT OF LIFE UNTIL MY WIFE DECIDED TO GET ME THIS AMAZING 70" FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND SO FAR I AM LOVING IT. I HAVE NO CONS TO GIVE RIGHT NOW. ITS BEEN ONLY A WEEK SO ITS ALL STILL FRESH BUT AS OF RIGHT NOW THE COLOR IS AMAZING. I CANT SAY MUCH ABOUT THE SOUND SINCE I HAVE A SURROUND SOUND ALREADY HOOKED UP TO IT. THE WIFI CONNECTS WELL. AND IT LOOKS VERY GOOD. SO WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY BUT THAT... "LIFE IS GOOD" WITH A 70" IN MY LIVING ROOM.

Got it at a price I couldn't refuse and it's to the perfect size with great picture images. Glad I finally upgraded to a 4k TV

Easy to configure settings and great looking Television. Love the size and the way the movies pop for our movie nights with the kids!

This is my first smart TV. I was considering the LG OLED TV as the picture on that is phenomenal but decided against it for the price point and concerns about burn in and other issues. Purchased this TV during Black Friday sale at a great price. I tweaked the settings as suggested by another reviewer and found them to be a vast improvement over factory settings as long as you are viewing HD content. Nothing special on SD setting. We set this TV up in a 16x14 room. Our furniture is in U-shape configuration and seating is 10-12 feet from the TV depending on where you sit. Pictue is clear without any distortion or degradation when viewing from an angle. I toyed with the idea of a sound bar but found it is not necessary because the sound is great on this TV. If I decide to get a sound bar, it will be a 3 or 5 channel as I feel a 2 channel would not make a significant difference. The stand on this TV appears strong and sturdy and allows ample space for a sound bar but I strongly recommend mounting on the wall - this is a big TV.

When I tell you my husband love this Tv it’s huge good color very clear. Pixel great on this unit. Very nice tv.

Purchased this on Black Friday for $700 and definitely worth it! Even though its not top of the line, the picture quality is awesome! Watched Avengers: Infinity War in 4K and the picture quality and sound out of the tv was great! Has a Google and Alexa assistant built in. Wish it came with the Magic Remote but you can use your phone as a remote too. Very happy with my purchase!

This TV has a great-looking,sharp picture, was easy to hook up, has nice color, & delivery was easy & convenient!

Watching TV became a must in my house as this TV apeals with it size, colors, sound etc...

I bought the tv on sale for $799. I had been looking for a while to upgrade my main TV. I had a 60" Samsung Plasma and was wanting to go bigger. The picture on this LG is impressive. I've googled for help on how to tweak the settings. The preset options work fine in most instances so the TV is pretty much ready to go out of the box. I still struggle with the sound though. I need to figure out how to adjust it properly. Or, I may need to invest in a good soundbar. The webOS built in works fine. It is not as robust as I'd like regarding the apps. For example, it does not yet have Movies Anywhere. There is a lot of Channel Plus content, I just don't use it. The remote is pretty basic and doesn't light up. If you're using it in the dark, it might take some getting used to or you'll find yourself using the light from your phone to find the right buttons. Overall, this is a great TV for the price. If you're looking to upgrade to 4K or go bigger, this is a budget friendly way to go.

So as the title says the TV itself (being the picture, sound, color and all that) is great for the price and size. I have an 82” and a 65” both being on the upper scale of TV’s. And this will go toe to toe with it in performance (I can say it lacks in direct light). However, the interface trying to get to apps and LG not having an HBO app itself exclusively and having to go through another app to get it is slightly annoying. But you do get use to it, even if that is an annoying thing.

The 4K tv is better than expected! Our Netflix, Hulu, Amazon looks amazing. Getting Direct TV 4K access has been a hassle. I’ve scheduled an installation appointment 3 times as they are out of 4 k boxes. I guess it is to be expected the way they are giving these TVs away at Best Buy! Incredible purchase for the money. Buy the 70”. It’s definitely a good choice for home entertainment. I’d buy it again.

Great tv Looks awesome and it upscaleS a 1080 Hd content . Controller is great too . The HDR IS AWESOME for when you don’t have a 4K supported device like a PS4 as opposed to a PS4 pro . No problems thus far except miracast for Android only works half the time . It Might be since I have an older android device . The 70 inch is huge and barley fits my room . I suggest getting the wall hanger attachment . So far so good !!! Love the tv

This is a television for the cost. The picture is crystal clear, Very easy to set up, and the smart remote makes it a dream to operate. you have access to all your apps with the click of a button. You can search the web, watch some Hulu, and even leave the TV idle to check out an amazing slideshow. If you're in the market for 70 inch smart TV this one is worth a look for sure.

I’ve been using my LG for a few months now without a problem. Picture is great and it’s comparable to my Sony Bravia....it’s not better but comparable. It’s easy for me to transition from a 4000 tv to a less expensive one with ease. I am glad I decided to purchase this tv on sale. I also like the free tv shows included on the smart tv....save me from purchasing cable!

I would give a 3.5. Overall it’s ok if you got this on black Friday as a deal but not worth for 999, the actual price. I agree with some of the reviews here On changing settings to get good picture quality, but I feel that it’s just a temporary masking, after all the actual system has to have the capacity to steam HD. I am surprised this is 4K UHD, as I don’t feel it that way. I have couple of other TVs home sideby side and it’s not really an upbeat, but not worse either. Finally I had to compare this tv with Haier 55 that I bought on Black Friday 2017 for 199. Colors are more natural and whatever I watch, it’s on a darker side of the shade for some shows it sgood but I am not really satisfied watching other movies, like Christmas movies, does not matter if I improve the brightness but I still feel dull. Remote is another downside, nope. Sound quality is good, the tv is really big and heavy. Overall, this review is totoally subjective and may be I needed to give couple of days before I return it.
