Great picture, easy setup, remote is easy to use and has great features

I bought this TV to replace a 4 year old LG 65OLED that was only 4 years old and developed a panel defect that distorted yellow and gold colors in the middle third of the screen to lime green. This picture is almost as good as the OLED but has a narrower viewing angle for optimum viewing. So far all the bowl games have been beautiful and movies look great. The Geek Squad was great at moving the OLED to its stand in another room and hanging this one in its place. My only complaint is they connected the sound bar wrong using an optical cable despite my pointing out the OLED used a HDMI cable telling me this TV required the optical cable. Needless to say my expensive sounder was not working properly. I went to the store and explained the problem, they agreed that an HDMI able should have been used, and sent out another guy who corrected it properly and restored my sound bar with all ts great dolby atmosphere sound. I have no clue where they had gotten the optical cable or where they put my HDMI cable. So, just be advised if you buy this TV and have a sound bar, insist on HDMI cable connection.

The picture quality is amazing. What 4K movies and are very life-like. To get that effect you have to put the TV into Vivid Mode. Make sure you buy an LG Soundbar. If you use a soundbar like Samsung the sound sync does not work and you have to use the sound bar remote. This is the same for Samsung TVs. The only negative I have is the remote control. The navigation control (up, down, left, right) also has a mouse and it is tricky to use. You can disable it by clicking up or down. I am looking if it can be disabled.

This tv would be perfect except for one thing .I can't hook my old wii or nintendos to it without buying a converter. This picture is crisp and bright. It's easy to hook up. I would buy this again way in the future.

Waited until Best Buy had it on sale and bought it for my Daughter, her husband and my 2 year old Granddaughter 3 months ago. They absolutely love it and was an upgrade from their 55”. You wouldn’t think so, but there is a big difference in size over the 65” that gives it a “wow” factor. Great picture, especially in 4K, has all the apps built in (no more Roku), and has the “Magic” remote which I like and I’m use to because I have the LG 77” OLED. Can’t go wrong, especially when Best Buy has it on sale. Bought it on line, and as usual BB delivered it in a couple of days, box in perfect condition, and the delivery people were very nice. Can’t go wrong, especially when Best Buy has it on sale!

Purchase and pickup were fast and easy. TV is great! Size is perfect for the space and the picture is wonderful. It is very easy to use, my 4 year old daughter is able to operate it on her own.

Excellent TV for the cost. Picture looks great and very user friendly! A side bonus to this TV is the LG remote. Best remote I've ever had!!

It has a great picture to me even the blacks are great. The couple of things to be aware of is setup is not so easy and finding help instead of having a manual makes this more time consuming. Also my Onkyo wireless speakers are not compatible unless I use two remotes unacceptable!! The tv speakers are pretty good but no bass for movie watching I chatted with a tech from LG and after a couple of tries that was the result. Seems to me like they could do an upgrade to the software to remedy these issues. Just be aware you're wireless speakers may not work and be prepared to spend anywhere from $250 to $700 for new ones. Other than that I like the tv and would recommend it.

This was an amazing buy! The clarity is just what I was looking for in a flatscreen TV! Great pixels, color is amazing!! I am more than pleased!!!

Best picture ive seen on a 70 inch tv. Easy to set up, tons of features. LG even provides tons of basic tv channels.

TV plays great. So far no issues. Easy to setup and get going. Picture is clear and bright. Sound could be a little better. But for this price point great tv.

This tv replaced another LG of 60 inches. I had it installed by the Geek Squad about 3 weeks ago. It has worked beautifully since they plugged it in. The picture is amazing and it is a Smart Tv. I have been very pleased with the way it looks on the wall(it has a very shallow depth and does not come away from the wall). Mine is mounted on a new mounting bracket that will extend to hold an 85 inch tv if need be. It is also on a new surge protector. I would liked to have purchased the OLED...but maybe next time. For now, this one is just perfect!

Doesn’t connect very well to my Bose sound wave. All of my things are connected to the Bose, dvd, Xbox, tv, And this tv won’t recognize the Xbox. Whenever Xbox is turned on, the screen shows “not recognized “. Very frustrating. I have to plug the Xbox straight into the tv for it to work. My crappy old sharp tv “ that I just tossed in the dumpster” had no problem recognizing all of the items plugged into the Bose sound wave. The LG does have a good picture. It’s the only plus. Other than that. Not user friendly.

The main reason we purchased this TV was to upgrade our software. We are moving to a streaming solution as opposed to our local cable company and their constant price increases and poor service. We have been very happy with the picture and sound quality and the offering of many APPs to satisfy our every need except ONE.... ESPN and its affiliated channels. Hard to believe it's not available as a stand-along APP.

I like it over my Samsung that I swapped out. Very pleased with the remote and it’s user friendly
