These speakers do make a difference if you're only listening to a soundbar. Expands the sound field quite well. Worth the price, especially if you do as i did and picked them up open box (i believe they have been discontinued, so open box may be your only option). There are a few caveats: 1. On open box, mine didn't come with speaker wire, had to buy it myself. GET WIRE SMALLER THAN 16 GAUGE. The speaker connector openings are small and oval shaped, not conducive to larger wire. 2. Be prepared to be frustrated with the instructions on how to wall mount. Believe me, it's something you'll have to figure out for yourself. 3. Do not have any Bluetooth interference. The receiver works on Bluetooth, which is a sketchy technology to begin with. I have the LG Sk10y soundbar and the subwoofer is notorious for disconnecting and random times where Bluetooth interference is present. It works on 2.4 ghz, which is where wi-fi signals can interfere. An easy fix if you have problems is to switch your wi-fi router over to 5 ghz only.

Very happy with this purchase! I bought these to complement an LG GX Soundbar. The weight of these little speakers is surprising and the clarity and fullness of the sound are extremely good. Other reviewers talked about little or no volume output. I had no problem with volume control. Setup was a breeze. I strongly recommend.

I've had this rear speaker surround sound kit for my LG SN5Y Soundbar for about a month now and it has not disappointed so far, It definitely adds another dimension to anything you are listening too, Description says "Wireless rear speaker kit" Which most people take that the wrong way as in zero wires needed to use this kit with your established soundbar.... Okay then, How do you power the rear speakers then?? Common sense is not very common anymore. This "wireless" kit means that there are no wires running from the rear speakers up to the soundbar, The soundbar wirelessly connects with the reciever that comes with the kit and the rear speakers must be wired into the reciever, Pretty basic. But anyway, Sounds amazing and if your Soundbar can decode Hi-Resolution Audio and DTS X. VIRTUAL Surround sound....Your in for a treat. Solid add on! I gave 4 stars because the rear kit Cost more than the soundbars its compatible with.....

This really helps complete the surround sound in the room. I have these speakers paired with my LG sl8yg soundbar. These speakers provide just enough sound to help give the full effect of Dolby Atmos. Don't expect super load sound coming from them but they are a great bang for your buck. I did get mine as an open box so I paid half price but its still worth it at full price.

I love having sound coming from behind me. It makes the listening experience more immersive. However the speakers do cut out from time to time which is a little annoying. Maybe its bc of the interference from the wifi around the house.

Ez to set up. Great sound. Of course, not totally wireless. Do need power source for Bluetooth box & wires do run from there to speakers. All on all I'm happy. Much neater than most surround systems & much easier to set up. I am happy with value because I caught good sale.

Light weight and plenty of cable length these speakers with the included wireless except for the power cable to the wireless mod work well. I have been surprised frequently by the Digital/DTS sounds that have come out of them and really enjoy them good job LG could not be happier. I have them a part of my new LG SK6Y Sound bar system and they work well together, only wish they were included with the LG Sound bar that would have been awesome.

Easy set up, worked right away with my Sk9y Soundbar. One star retracted for the relative lack of volume from the these speakers, IMHO. Bought these with points earned from previous purchases so I'm pretty happy overall.

Over a year ago I bought the LG SK9Y soundbar to finally experience Dolby Atmos, and while it is a great soundbar, I noticed there was still something missing to my sound experience. I was aware of the rear speakers, but didn't think it was worth the price tag at the time I bought the soundbar. I finally found them on sale and bought them. They were the upgrade I needed for my sound bar! They are small, but impactful, when used in the right area. I would recommend anyone to get these speakers with your soundbar to get a better sound experience, especially when getting any of the LG soundbars, since a lot of shows/movies/games don't leverage Dolby Atmos.

Got these to pair with my new LG soundbar and they really add to it. I was worried reading a few reviews of the connection and interference issues. I have the receiver unit behind my sofa about 15 feet from the soundbar and it works perfectly. Easy to set up and worked great immediately. I'd recommend adding these to your LG soundbar.

I recently bought a new television, and recieved a lg soundbar for Christmas.. The soudbar by itself sounded great.. But decided i decided to buy these lg rear speakers and it took the sound to a whole new level

Purchased the rear speakers to complete home theater. Pairs perfectly with LG sound bar. The only down fall is actually having the cords hang down from speaker to connect with the bass. Speakers are essentially wireless from TV.

These speakers are very nice and have good sound quality for the price. They are a wired/wireless system which means there is a wireless receiver and the speakers are wired to it. The receiver automatically connects to the sound bar as soon as it is plugged in.

I've read plenty of reviews on this product all over the web. Mostly bad reviews but after setting these up, those bad reviews have no idea what they are talking about! This worked flawlessly and volume was not an issue for me which others have complained about. Yes there are wires that connect the speakers but you don't have to string them from the front of your room to the back! These work great!

These work great with my SK10Y sound bar, i installed the pair on the wall, hiding the wires was the hardest part, setup was easy. These are my third pair i purchased, since i also have two more SK9Y soundbars in other locations.

The LG SL4Y is an amazing unit, but when you add the rear satellite speakers to it, what a difference and a perfect addition that makes! Installation could not be easier and the sound quality is absolutely amazing without spending tons and breaking the Bank.

It took a minute to get setup. Could be better pnp. Once I got it sound is good, not as much power as you may want but you get the wireless and surround sound you’re looking for, so there’s that. Price ok.

These rear speakers add to the experience for the LG soundbar I have. But where I have an issue is they sometimes loose signal along with the wireless subwoofer and the soundbar altogether. I have not been able to check for firmware updates for the soundbar itself and the support website is not very helpful with downloading updates for the soundbar either. These are ok if you want to make the setup either 5.1.2 or 7.1.2. But other than that If you already have the 5.1.2 LG soundbar model then these would really not be neccesary. I have the 3.1.2 model so these make it a better setup overall. They are loud and clear and work great when the wireless isn't acting up.
