I bought the soundbar and sub woofer combo and was happy enough with it that I added these rear speakers to the mix. These speakers have an independent signal receiver and can be placed anywhere in the room with the soundbar. The surround sound is great, for instance while watching a driving scene in a movie the dialogue is coming from the left speaker and the rumble of the engine coming from the right. Makes it much more realistic and no more monotone sound. While watching a car chase I can hear the car moving from left to right, just like I’m watching a car drive by and hear it coming from the left and as it passes I can hear it go off in the distance to the right. Highly recommend this complete set up. I’ve got the lg sn6y 420 watt sound bar working in conjunction with these rear speakers. One plus is these rear speakers work with an independent sound receiver that can be placed anywhere in the room with the sound bar, so it doesn’t need to be connected to the soundbar, it works via Bluetooth. I recommend this product

Really great sound for what you pay for. Saw some reviews that people weren't pleased that these aren't wireless. Yes, they have a wireless receiver that they are wired to but the receiver can be placed anywhere, so very flexible and you don't have to wire across the room to the soundbar/TV/receiver. Mine fits perfect under my couch. I'd buy them again.

I have an lg c series oled from 2018 xmas & a matching 9 series Dolby atoms sound bar. The sound bar has a couple up fireing speakers for the object based sound. These rear speakers made a world of difference for the surround,.. I don’t freel like the sound bar should have the atoms designation without it...especially not for bigger rooms

I had just bought the SP9YA sound bar for my LG C1 tv. Having a sound bar was already a massive improvement over the built-in tv speakers and I didn't know how much of an improvement adding rear speakers would be. I saw a great deal on an open box for these speakers and was blown away by what a difference it was by adding these to my sound system. Out of the box, items looked brand new, with no scratches or nicks, and everything I needed was included. Installation was quick and easy. I turned on the surround sound setting using the LG Sound Bar app and immediately noticed the rear speakers working. Watching movies or shows was so enjoyable and just airplaying music to my sound bar, it really enhances the overall experience by having these rear speakers.

My son wanted me to connect an older wired surround sound system to his bedroom tv for gaming. I found this on sale. I was hesitant to run wires all over his room. This should work great. Only for stars because he hasn’t used it yet.

The purchase of this LG surround speaker kit is a must. I connected these to my LG SK9Y Dolby Atmos based sound bar. When watching regular TV shows or movies in 5.1 audio it's definitely noticeable surround sound. It is especially immersive with 7.1 audio and 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos audio. On my sound bar I have the rear surround speakers set to 6+ volume and they sound great. I read other articles of people complaining about how low the rear speaker volume was. I know on some of the lower end LG sound bars you can not raise the rear volume but instead it is fixed with the master volume.

We were blown away by the quality sound and how easy it was to setup and pair. We have it setup behind our living room couch and the surrround sound is a huge reward for those quiet movies where you couldn't hear what was going on in the background. War movies are not the same anymore!!!

Easy to setup and pair with my LG soundbar. They sound great but they are a little too bright a bit too loud for surround sound speakers. Even if you adjust the rear volume on the soundbar itself, it's still a little too loud. Overall the sound stage is great. If you have a soundbar with Dolby Atmos, these rear speakers will overpower them, so it's kind of pointless to get a soundbar with Dolby Atmos. Construction is good and solid. The receiver is a bit plasticky but the only purpose is to receive the signal from the soundbar. The wires included is pretty generous.

These were kind of a spontaneous buy for me because I found some open-box while shopping for something else, but I knew I wanted rear-channel speakers at some point as I had previously bought my LG SP7Y soundbar already. These are a great compliment to LG's already great soundbars and now I can't imagine not having them. The complete and fuller sound is well worth the cost of these. Be aware that they are not true wireless, you will have to run lines from the speakers themselves to the receiver unit, it is the receiver that is wireless and connects to the LG bars via Bluetooth. Also do not put a modem or any other wireless device near the receiver, some other wireless devices may cause connection issues.

Great product for the price I paid for it. This is really good for someone who wants a simple set up with a good sound system at an affordable price (fyi I got this on a black Friday sale so the price may vary). The cables to the speakers are nice and long with a clip to fold up any excess cables keeping the set clean and organized.

Paired with the SP8YA really fast and has yet to show any problems. Got knocked over on hardwood flooring pretty hard, but looks like nothing ever happened. It’s well worth to get the Lg sound bar app to fully adjust everything to make it perfect.

I connected these wirelessly to my LG soundbar, flawless connection every time I turn the system on. Great quality and they really fill out the sound. Nice looking speakers mounted high on the wall. Not too large so they are not obtrusive. 2 drawbacks, no mounting brackets included (I bought some good ones off Amazon for $10) and there are no speaker mount bolts with the speakers nor do the instructions tell you which size to buy. I bought fine thread 4 MM bolts and they fit great. Overall very happy!

I used to own last year's rear speaker and these 2018 models are decidedly better. Although they are of the same power wattage as before, they offer an improved design chassis that lends to more improved clarity. They are certainly heftier and feel more expensive. Aesthetically, they are more pleasing to the eye and they match LG's current 2018 line up of sound bar design language (save for the SK9) perfectly. The wireless receiver is identical to that of last year's.

If you want to add surround to a soundbar that supports these, then they are great! easy to setup without the same connection issues that I run into with the subwoofer.

I bought these at a later date to add to my LG sound bar/subwoofer. Easy set up with plug and play. These rear speakers are wired to a wireless receiving unit. That unit powers the speakers and send the sound to them via wires. Easy set up and the receiver is out of sight.

I very very rarely buy any electronics of any kind used or open but on this wireless set for my new sound bar I decided to go for it and I'm very happy w my purchase. Not only did I get a great deal on the open box price but these rear wireless set of speakers are very awesome and deliver great sound quality for surround.

Sound quality is great wish was alittle louder I bought it used and my left speaker disconnects and connects randomly but other than that they are great

I bought these surround speakers to pair with an LG soundbar. They are easy to hook up and pair with the soundbar. The sound is impressive. I would recommend these to anyone who has an LG soundbar.

I got myself the Dolby Atmos LG sound bar with the 5.1 surround sound and I had to get the rear speakers to get that 7.1 affect. It's perfect, it brings movies to life with every sound it makes. Personally I love it! Only wires is the connection to the wireless router from the rear speakers.

Alright, so I purchased these rear speaker after I bought my LG 3.1 sound bar and OLED TV. Everything takes some time to get dialed in for your sound preference, but once you have it down it delivers as advertised. Is it a true surround sound system? Yes and no, but for a smaller space it does great. Only thing though, if it’s not broadcast in Dolby 5.1, don’t expect any sound out of these. I get it and that’s the huge difference from being a true surround sound. But for the price and for a small space, I’d recommend it!
