Went from a 64” Samsung Qdot to this 77” LG C4. It was like night and day!!! My concerns going into this was that it wouldn’t be as bright as the Samsung, but it is very bright. Geek squad delivered it and flawlessly installed the wall mount and then mounted the TV. I’ve been rewatching a lot of old movies and still blown away by the picture quality. We couldn’t be happier.

This is my second OLED television. I remember waiting years before buying my first one, a 2018 model. Six years or so later, it was time for a new, bigger one! I selected this 2024 C4 77-inch because it hit the sweet spot in price and performance. Those of you coming to OLED for the first time will be the most impressed! My first time turning on the OLED TV was jaw dropping. This 2024 model has made small improvements over the last few years. The processing is improved, so lower quality images look better now. The built in apps are faster too. The most fun comes when watching HDR or Dolby Vision shows/movies. My favorites include The Last of Us (make sure you have the 4K HDR package on max) and Stranger Things. I will say that I expected the C-series to improve even more during the past six years than it has. My 2018 and 2024 TVs look very, very similar. It seems you need to get LG's G-series now, if you want a technical jump over the C-series. Back in 2018, pretty much all the LG's used the same OLED panel. Today, the G-series get better panels with newer technology. Therefore, I'm having a bit of regret not going for a G-series this time. The advantage of the G Series is that the TV is much brighter, which helps in bright rooms, but most importantly to make those bright highlights truly pop in HDR shows. Otherwise, if this is your first OLED, you will be blown away. Rewatch all your favorite shows and movies, especially if they're available in 4K HDR or Dolby Vision. I also enjoy the 4K HDR available on the F1 tv subscription as seen in my photo. Cinema, Cinema Home, isf, and Filmmaker are the best modes to use. Stay away from Standard, Vivid, and Sports settings. Those settings are much less accurate. The sound is not as bad as I expected, but I added a LG sound bar to make it really good (and later swapped it out for a Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar that really upped the game). The C-Series is the best value at LG in their OLED lineup. The G-series gets expensive (with an even better picture) and the B series doesn't save you much, when it is dimmer and has an inferior processor. Many will find the C Series to be the goldilocks choice.

Have had in place for a few weeks now and have loved the TV from the start. Initial reviews had mentions of "clunky" WebOS, but I really don't have any complaints. The image quality is amazing, shows/movies are as crisp and clear as I've ever seen and gaming on it looks absolutely stunning. The 77" beast is definitely a lot of work to get mounted, was very helpful to have three people during the install. TV isn't heavy, just challenging with the size itself. Would definitely recommend buying this set and the incentives / rewards with BestBuy at the time made the price very manageable. I have it installed in a room that can have a lot of natural light and the new generation OLED has zero issue being bright enough to have no problems with it. I do have a full surround sound solution, so not using the built-in speakers, but initial testing with those seemed more than adequate if that was your only option.

The LG 77-Inch Class C4 Series OLED TV impressed me with its stunning display and immersive audio. With flawless 4K visuals, deep blacks, and vibrant colors, it's perfect for movie nights and gaming marathons. The user-friendly interface, complemented by various smart features, ensures seamless streaming and connectivity. A top-tier entertainment hub for audio/visual enthusiasts. The 77” LG OLED TV has exceeded our expectations. Colors are bright, true, and resolution and refresh rate are both excellent. Background black is really opaque black.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new TV. The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and crystal-clear resolution. Watching movies and shows feels like a theater experience right in my living room. The smart features are intuitive and make streaming from my favorite apps effortless. The sound quality is surprisingly robust, even without a soundbar. It’s sleek, modern, and fits perfectly into my space. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase it’s truly a game-changer for entertainment. I am adding some pictures for reference. I took those pictures in with different variations Day and Night.

LG -77" OLED 4K TV review

I purchased an LG - 77 IN. OLED 4K TV in August of 2025. This TV is around the same weight as my old 48 IN Flat screen. The TV was easy to assemble "counter mounted ". The picture is excellent in both bight and dark pictures. The sound is better than my older TV but recommend using a soundbar. The TV comes loaded with several viewing apps/programs, either log in to an existing app or sign up. If connecting to a cable box, connection is fairly simple. However, the remote can be a bit clunky and take some getting use to. Overall, this is a great TV.

Class C series is almost as bright as the G series and MUCH less expensive. I'm very happy with the C4 - it is fine in my bright living room, and of course the OLED quality is superb!

Unreal! Amazing picture quality. Well worth the money. I purchased the LG 3.1.3 Dolby Atmos soundbar with wireless subwoofer at the same time I purchased the television, because the onboard speakers are pretty much non existent due to how slim the entire unit is. I am blown away with the combination. Looks and sounds totally amazing. I also added the Govee Envisual TV Baclight to add to the amazing look picture. It is an amazing sensory experience. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. It’s like being at the movies, but you can do it in your underwear! The colors are vibrant, the blacks are dark, and the picture is sharp.

If you are in the marked for the LG C-series this is the TV I would get. The C4 has hands down one of the best screens on a TV. The OLED has jaw dropping color and brightness and it is much cheaper than the C5 that just came out.

This TV is fantastic. Incredibly bright and detailed picture. The finest TV I have ever had in my home. Set up is a little bit of a pain in the butt, as you have to establish an LG account before downloading your apps.. Considering how large this television is it’s surprisingly light and sits on my TV cabinet without damaging it. Which I was surprised but happy about. Considering the price it’s a no-brainer purchase.

Perfect TV for those who are looking for extreme quality for movies and games. Nothing to complain about image quality and OS features. The LG app store could be better, as I can't find the Nord app to download, but the available app options are enough for the major part of the users.

Have had the 55 c1, 65c1, c2, and 48 c3 oled from LG. This one by far is the best. Nice and bright and obviously the size is premium. Like with all I think a sound upgrade is a necessity. I would recommend Sonos!
