Fantastic oled
|Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] This tv has been far and away the best tv ive ever looked at. The blacks are perfect and inky, and the brights levels are so high I have to squint

Almost perfect. HDR maxes out UI brightness?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] Fantastic tv except for 1 thing: HDR contenta applies to the TVs UI. This means that even turning the volume up, you are blinded with the brightest possible volume icon. This increases risk of burn in and makes pausing or adjusting HDR content very uncomfortable. I hope a future update fixed the HDR UI extreme brightness. I will attach pictures of a paused screen with the same content with and without the UI up. In this example, it will be the input menu. My phone's camera does make it look worse because it cannot even process the contrast.

LG G5 OLED 83"
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the LG 83” OLED (G-Series) from Best Buy, and I can confidently say this is hands down the most impressive TV I’ve ever owned. The picture quality is unreal. The OLED panel delivers perfect blacks, incredible contrast, and colors that look vibrant without being overdone. Watching movies feels cinematic — especially in Dolby Vision. Dark scenes have so much detail, and bright highlights pop without any blooming. It’s the kind of TV that makes you want to rewatch your favorite movies just to see what you’ve been missing. The 83” screen size completely transforms the living room. It feels like a private theater at home. Sports look crisp and fluid, and gaming is next-level with the fast response time and smooth performance. The HDMI 2.1 features and 120Hz support make a huge difference if you’re gaming on a next-gen console. The design is also stunning. The gallery-style mount makes it sit nearly flush against the wall, giving it a clean, modern look. Even when it’s off, it looks like a piece of art. Setup through Best Buy was smooth and professional, and the TV arrived in perfect condition. From ordering to installation, everything was seamless. If you’re considering upgrading to a premium OLED — this is it. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Would buy again without hesitation.

BEST OLED OF 2025
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible television. Worth every penny. This is a replacement for a 2021 65” Sony Bravos OLED (panel manufactured by LG). The improvement in brightness is phenomenal and I’m so glad I upgraded. I really loved my other TV but did have to pull the blinds to watch dark movies. That is not a problem anymore. This even feels too bright sometimes. POSITIVES: OLED true black, incredibly clear picture, brightness is top-tier for all OLED TVs NEGATIVES: (when you are buying this tier of television, just realize you will also need to buy an equivalent tier sound system to match). Internal sound quality is poor but I knew that going into it. My old Sony had the best internal sound because they use the entire panel to project the sound but even that isn’t good enough sound when you have this quality level of a television.

No regrets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a 55in C2 this thing is amazing. Color accuracy is on point, it gets plenty bright especially in dark rooms. It’s like staring through a window.

The Best TV gets even better!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I sold my G4 to upgrade to a larger G5 oled this year. Loved my G4 and I felt it was the best tv I had owned ever. The G5 does everything better. The brights are some amazing that it’s hard to walk away from the TV. I had looked at the Samsung S95F. When looking at the 2 in the store the flat matte screen on the S95F is such a turnoff if you like that dark inky blacks. The LG G5 is the best TV of 2025! Especially for 77 inch since Sony Bravia 8 only goes to 65 inch. The only complaint I had this year seemed to be dialing in the picture. The G4 was great out of the box. The G5 you do need to adjust some to get that perfect picture. The last couple of updates has fixed a lot of the Dolby Vision issues and has made that much brighter. Gaming on this G5 has been Epic!! Beautiful rich colors! You will not be disappointed in this TV!!

Excellent TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve moved from a C1 77 LG OLED and I thought it was a great TV, but this LG G5 OLED is by far the best TV I have owned. The screen resolution, brigthness abd functions and features is the best I’ve ever seen on the TV. It is a perfect TV for wall mounting…it looks better that Samsung’s frame TV. I was decising between the Sony, Samsung and LG. The G5 is by far the best im my opinion. I have it paired with the LG ST90Y soundbar and which is a pretty solid soundbar.

I absolutely love my LG OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG’s OLED TVs are some of the best you can buy. The picture is stunning, with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and smooth motion that makes movies, shows, and sports look incredible. The sleek, ultra-thin design looks premium, and the built-in smart system makes streaming super easy. Gamers will also love the fast response time and next-gen console support. The only downsides are the higher price and the fact that the built-in speakers provide clear dialogue and balanced sound, they can’t fully match the screen’s premium visuals. Pairing with a soundbar or home theater system enhances the experience.

Outstanding Family Room TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stunning picture quality. Vibrant colors & dark blacks. Very wide viewing angle, so even a large group can all see the screen. Sound quality is surprisingly good, too. Thought we would immediately add a sound bar, but we may not do that after all. The only thing we do not like is the mouse pointer remote. Waaaaay too clumsy to use.

Greatest TV I ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get this tv on a good sale and I am glad I did. The quality and brightness on this TV is like no other. It doesn't even matter when my living room is getting alot of sunlight, it doesnt effect the quality at all. Also if you like to game, this tv is the perfect living room gaming experience.

Super bright!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a significant improvement over the LG CX that I had before. Previously, dark scenes on shows like Game of Thrones were almost impossible to see, even with the lights off. However, with the G5, this is no longer a problem at all! In fact, I’ve even considered turning down the brightness.

Great buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent TV love the mounting system that comes with it very flat against the wall. Install does require two people. The TV is quite heavy but the picture and the operating system is very very good. Really love the TV.

Finally Found the Right TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 4 TV's, I finally bit the bullet and got this beauty. I tried the S90F (great TV but not great for sports), Bravia 7 (great processing but wasn't OLED level) and 98" QM7K (amazing size but bigger size exposed more flaws, especially in sports). This G5 is smaller but the picture quality and brightness for my bright living room is what made this the clear winner for me. As far as sports, this is by far the best TV of the bunch, less blur/ghosting behind hockey pucks and footballs and great upscaling. The colors are not as amazing as QD-OLED but very close. Lastly, people may not like that this TV is thicker than other OLEDs, but I would choose this thickness every time because the TV feels solid, protected and less likely to break if you need to move it. The flush mount makes the TV look so slick on your wall as well. Highly Recommend this TV!

Unreal SDR and HDR Experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All I can say is wow. Coming from an S95B, this TV is very bright in both SDR and HDR with unreal black levels. SDR and HDR content shine on this TV set. The OS is ok, much better than TizenOS IMO. Take a look at this set at you local BB if you want to see it in action.
