Nice big screen, image is absolutely insane how great the specular highlights in HDR look, while also being able to show a lot of shadow detail in dark scenes as well. Colors really pop, and the TV honestly can't be beat for how well it handles the image in gaming mode, while giving a fantastic latency at high frame rates (120 and 144 hz). Can't recommend it enough

My husband really investigated all the TVs that we would be interested in. He definitely wanted an 83” size.
He read all the magazines, including Consumer Reports. It was a toss up between Samsung and LG and we’re very happy we went with LG.
The color is gorgeous. The clarity is perfect. It’s our first time with an OLEG TV. Apparently an OLEG TV cannot be repaired. It just gets replaced. We’re hoping it lasts because it was very heavy and difficult to hang.

This is my second LG OLED, upgraded from a C1 77 inch. I absolutely love this TV. Did some google-fu to find some calibrations for settings (there are some serious AV guys out there that should be applauded for the work they do), tweaked a little to my liking and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I am very much a TV nerd and upgrade my TVs frequently. I went with an 83 inch G4 OLED because of the room and some people might be sitting to the side so I didn’t want any color or picture derogation. In standing still content, the TV is phenomenal but does have an issue with 24 frame content. There’s extreme motion blur. Done everything to put in game mode cinema mode. Turn motion off turn motion on you just can’t get rid of it. LG needs to do a firmware update to improve the upscaling and motion of 24 frame content, which by the way is a majority of content out there. I also own a 65 inch G5 and there’s vast improvements on that TV with this issue, but there’s still a slight hint of it.

So far i love the TV its absolutely amazing. However when i came to pick up the box from Bestbuy the bottom of tbe box was tore up. The employees also tried to lift the box themselces and didnt really seem to know what they were doing. Thankfully it works no noticable issues.

Bought an open box deal and, initially, the HDMI 2 port didn't work. Best Buy had it fixed within a week by replacing the board. So far, picture quality is outstanding and am using OTA stations, streaming Onn/Firestick and xBox for gaming. Also, I'm using my own home theatre but did try the TV speakers to check them out and they are okay, but not great.

I have a 65”, a 77” and now an 83” LG TV.
They were all C or G line and wow I’ll never go back to another. Everything about the 83” TV is smooth sailing, fantastic color and easy operational. There are so many aspects like live tv. If you don’t have the tv wired to internet or cable, this TV has so many stations and live tv to watch all from the tv. Marvelous ingenuity and simple to operate. I’m 77 years old so LG works for me.

Excellent TV with a great picture. It was very easy to set up and the crew from best buy that mounted it did a great job. I upgraded from a Samsung QLED 90 series (2019 model) and was suprised to see that the OLED was brighter.

83" LG OLED evo Stops people in their tracks! The picture is that magnificent and the size of the TV is that impressive. It is unbelievable the picture quality that a TV that large provides. The internet functions on the TV are fast and reliable. It makes my 5 year old LG Smart TV look like a dinosaur. Buy this TV. Best Buy Geek Squad installed it. They did a perfect job. The TV weighs 100 lbs. so I wouldn't try to tackle mounting a TV this large by yourself. Use the Geek Squad for a hassle free experience.

We love everything about this TV.
It looks fantastic on our wall.
Picture is perfect.
This is the second time we have bought this TV because we loved it in another room in our house.

This is my first OLED TV, and now I can understand everyone raving about OLED.
The picture quality is impressive, and dark scenes are a treat, not something you wonder about.
I can't comment on the sound; I use a Sony Bravia system, but the picture quality, off-axis viewing, and colors are fantastic. Best Buy did a really good job on the installation and the team at the Novi, MI store were great to work with

Love the display and Best Buy was prompt and installed professionally. The only issue is the included flush mount. Studs are 16" OC. The mount is just over 16" so it will get to studs but unless your center point for mounting is exactly in the center of the mount, your display will be off center. I have sound panels, front and back height speakers already determining center so had to buy another mount and now the display is not flush mounted. For $5-6K, the mount should have a little extra width to allow for movement to center.
