This external USB drive seems to work well. I had no problems using it. It worked as soon as I plugged it in to my computer.

This is great lightweight fast external drive. So far I have no complaints. It’s is slightly built but with good materials and craftsmanship. This means it’s not a drive you want constantly transfer to new locations. Overall a good producer

I needed a drive to download and install Microsoft Office on my new computer. Best Buy had this LG CD-RW / USB product on-hand at a great price competitive with other sources, so I purchased one. Using the included simplified instructions, adding this LG drive to my desktop computer was easy resulting in a flawless installation of the device, supporting driver and, ultimately, MS Office. It doesn't get any easier!

The external drive is nice and is what it advertised. Product is real easy to use and runs very good. I love it and enjoy using it. Definitely worth the buy from what I can see.

I was never a fan of LG for drives before, but I found this to be less expensive (was on sale for $24.99 before tax); than other brands like Verbatim, Lenovo, Dell and HP ($10.00 to $40.00 lower). Although more pricier than my initial budget I decided to give it a try based on cost only. To my surprise it was readily recognized when I connected it to my PC. My only concern now is durability and longevity. This portable LG external DVD writer with: 8x DVD and 24x CD write speeds is not bad so far. The unit works great for adding dvd capability to a newer computer without built in dvd capability.

This is perfect to hook up to my laptop when needed. As we all know by now laptops no longer include CD drives. This unit is powered off the connection to the laptop. Super convenient, working as expected.

If you are looking for a cd burner this one is quality and works great.

I first connected it to my MacBook Air with a USB C to USB connector and it did not work. Then I connected it to a USB type C Hub Pro, and it has worked flawlessly. And it is quiet.

I received the item quickly and it worked great with my computer. I will recommend Best Buy to family anf friends in the future

Very easy to use. I bought an Epson printer that came with a DVD setup disk. I tried to use the online instructions - REDICULOUS - so I went back to Best Buy, bought the simple disk drive, and 10 minutes after plugging it in, my printer setup was done! I guess you still have to have a disk drive!

Finally I can burn disks and get back into my old PC games.

I purchased this LG 8x USzB Double Layer DVD RE/CD-RE Drive after I brought my new 24” iMac. It works well. I also had to purchase a USB Type C to A Adapter.
