Works pretty good. It's a little sluggish with my M1 macbook pro, but it still gets the job done.It was also completely plug and play with a usb-c adapter.

Bought this to burn my dvds to my server and it worked perfectly. I did a lot of back-to-back burning over a week or so and it worked just as well at the end as at the beginning.

The portable external CD Rom drive worked perfect for my application to work from home and I was very pleased that I ordered it on line and was able to pick it up at the front of the store and did not have to go in the store to pick it up which caused me to have much less exposure to the virus or other sickness. I bought this 9 months ago to burn some CD's for my kids. It worked great until I tried to use it a few weeks ago. Now the device turns on & sounds like it's reading the disk when I plug it in, but neither my Mac, nor Windows 11 PC recognize it. Near as I can tell, there is no support for Windows 11 or current MacOS. I know it's an old design, but the mfg. date is January 2024. I expect a company like LG to support their own products at least as long as they're selling them. Disappointed in the lack of support for what seemed to be a good product. $25 down the drain!

Do not buy this dvd player. It is a bait and switch con job. Cyberlink media requires you to buy a subscription after trial date otherwise it will not work
