Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for movie watching and Xbox/PS5 using my already owned LG CX TV. I played with the sound for 5 days and couldn't get it to sound at all decent. Tried both using eARC and passing through the sound bar. Rear channels sounded bad (individual channels so they sounded tinny without the sub helping with low end) and could not hear vocals from the center channel as well. I tried all the sound profiles, even turned up the center channel all the way, and some sounds from my favorite games could not be heard because some of those frequencies couldn't be reproduced (which could easily be reproduced by the TV speakers). Maybe I got a bad unit? Music was okay enough, big boombastic loud sounds were fine, but the moment people would talk, it was way too quiet. I tried 4k Atmos Blu-ray, streaming (Disney+ and Netflix), and games from both Series X and PlayStation 5... Didn't work well with any of them. I bought them with hopes of staying in an LG ecosystem, I returned them today and will be buying the Samsung q990c. I have my fingers crossed that they will be better.

Honest Information read before purchase.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in October and I still don’t have it connected the way they promise in the video or the direction guide. Which by the way is not very helpful. All the speakers turn off everytime yiu shirt the TV off and they do not automatically reconnect. So I have to go in everytime a reconnect. Here is the real important part: pay close attention. When I called customer service and you don’t ever get anyone in the US. You can call day or night, it’s a 3rd party answering service who can barely speak English. They have no idea what they are doing and you can’t understand but every other word they are trying to say. So they were never able to help me get it connected properly. I was telling a friend about it and she suggest call the geek squad. So I was like, yes!!! Nope I called the geek squad, and guess what? They are a bunch of foreigners as well that can barely speak any clear English. They are not the only ones, Macy’s and a few other companies all went to customer service companies in other countries. So put off with them I asked to speak to someone in the US and they hung up on me. I spent all this money and can’t get help from someone that speaks proper and clear English. Very upset.

WILL DESTROY YOUR WI-FI
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The soundbar will destroy your Wi-Fi, unfortunately I came across this article too late: http://lge.to/SqUAHR ("Customers claim the moment sound bar and TV are turned on, the wi-fi signal strength around drops from about 600mbps down to approximately 0.2~5mbps"). There are plenty of better options out there than a speaker where the manufacturer recommends that you disconnect other devices from the Wi-FI if you're using it.

On and poppin
