If you have a smart TV don't waste your money on a Blu-ray player that's also smart. You'll never use the features bcuz you'll be using the smart features on your TV. Get this instead. It does exactly what you need it to do & you'll be saving money. The picture looks great and it was super easy to hook up. Definitely worth it!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the LG - Bp165 Blu-ray Player. It was very easy to set up and is very compact and lightweight. Not only does it play Blu-ray and regular DVDs, it also plays CDs.

The blue ray player is compact for my toddlers room and easy to use. It plays both DVD & Blue Ray discs with high quality. I strongly recommend this product for any room!!

This combo is a great product. For the simple uses of just watching videos at home, this item is sleek, simple, and affordable. The quality i fantastic and I haven't had any problems with it, nor has anyone I've known who has the same one! Highly recommend!

My previous player died, so I needed to get a new one. Went to the Best Buy website and found this one. I love using the website because you can select your own parameters, and narrow down your search. I just wanted something simple, at a decent price. I have been pleased with the performance of this blu-ray player.

Having already purchased a smart TV from Best Buy, I was in the market for a basic blu-ray player. The choices for a non-internet capable blu-ray were surprisingly few. This compact LG player gives great picture quality and convenient controls without the unnecessary extras. Also, an attractive price.

We only wanted to upgrade to a Blue-Ray that would replace our DVD Player and play all formats. We didn't need or want internet access or any streaming services and our TV has the necessary HDMI port. This was the only Blue-Ray Player that we could find that did what we wanted and didn't have all the extras that many reviews claim DON'T WORK and cause problems. Everything on this player works beautifully. I can connect my compact Canon camera with a USB cable to the USB port and show my photographs on the TV. I haven't tried to play any video or audio off of a USB drive though. The only problem I have had is that I can't play my camera's QuickTime videos with this player because that video format is not accepted. Aaaah, Apple vs. Android! I don't have an Android device, but this player apparently does anything Android. I didn't take down a star for the QuickTime fault because my camera's videos are not very good anyway.

Very Compact. Doesn't take up much space. So far, works very well. I really wish most of these blue ray players would have a button on the unit to make the remote beep when the kids misplace the remote!

I actually bought this to be able to enjoy watching movies in my room on my son's old flat screen .. but, it wouldn't hook up to the tv, so I actually had to return this item. Better suited for the correct set up.

This is a great Blu-Ray player its compact and light weight , LG is always a favorite of mine as they are made with quality and anything LG is built to last .

I bought this player to replace a Samsung that died and it fits the bill for me to play my DVD's and the occasional Blu-Ray. Good picture quality and easy to use.
