I replaced an older LG with this one. This one has way more usable space than my last one and it’s the same size. My last one lasted 8 years and I sold it still working great. Ice maker in door make a lot and you can have ice made in the lower freezer for parties. So far everything works as described by manufacturer.

Originally this was not the unit I wanted but when I read the reviews on the other unit, not an LG, and this one, this was my pick. At first I didn't want several of the features, the double ice maker, third door, dual compressors etc. I thought I was over buying but as it was on sale i went for it. WOW was I wrong, I love all of those features. The third door is fantastic, the dual ice means you never run out even with a football team wanting drinks. This unit is well designed and you can't hear it run. However, some drawbacks, not a lot of tall space, yes the shelves are adjustable and one can be pushed back for more room, but. Also the bottom fridge drawer is sort of awkward as you have to open both doors to use it. But all in all one of the best fridges I have owned

This refrigerator is amazing. Lots of room and I love the slim ice maker in the door. Doesn't take up any room at all like normal ice makers do. Plus having a duel ice maker in the freezer really helps out. I will never run out of ice. Great refrigerator.

The door in door quick access is great for things we reach for frequently like milk or nice. Love how cold they still stay even in the door.. large freezer capacity with the two drawers is great. Ice cream is always at just the right temp for scooping.

Love the extra door on the outside allows you to access items you use often without opening the eniire refrig. Love the two ice makers always have plenty if ice. The only complaint I have is a store as big as Best Buy should at least have next day delivery. Bought on a Friday and could not be delivered until the next Tuesday.

This is the second LG refrigerator that I have bought. I had to leave the last one (30.7 cu feet) in my previous house as a condition for sale. This one is smaller, but still much bigger than most other fridges on the market. I love the bright, LED lighting and both the fridge and freezer keeps the food exactly how I want it. At first glance, the door in door access seems to be a "cute" added feature, but I like it a lot and it should not be overlooked. Finally, the in door ice maker does not make a lot of ice, but there is an added ice bin in the freezer portion that automatically fills (Another new feature that I did not have before) and should keep you well stocked with ice.

I really like this refrigerator. Its really bright inside, I can fit any size cup or pitcher in the water and ice dispenser which is awesome compared to my old one. The only complaint I have is that if you try to shut the left side door first or too fast the small divider bar that seals between the two doors doesn't always close. Which ls letting a lot of cold air out if you don't realize it. You almost always have to close the right door first or just close the left door gently. There have been so many times I come home and see that little seal has been left open. maybe its an adjustment thing but not sure.

This fridge exceeds expectations. Makes a lot of ice and love the feature to make more into a bucket in freezer. The door access to frequently used items is a bonus! Took out a shelf for tall wine bottles and still have plenty of space. Highly recommend.

Has all the expected features for the newer upper end refrigerators. Like that the ice cube maker is part of the door and does not take up shelf space. There was a defrost recall issue that was fixed by LGs service guys in 2 visits. The refrigerator gave a code on the door.

Very spacious and quiet. Dual ice makers are awesome

our old fridge was 20 years old so getting this new LG fridge was such an improvement...the water/ice filter makes such a difference in the taste of the water and drinks...the lighting is also a huge improvement over the old "one 20W bulb" lighting...if your fridge is more that 15 years old buy a new one...you'll love it

We love the door in door feature to access drinks quickly without needing to open entire fridge. The three small drawers and one larger drawer accommodate all our storage needs for fruits, veggies and lunch items. We really love the LED lighting. Also two drawers in bottom freezer keeps things organized.

We recently bought all new appliances and I researched a lot of Refrigerators. This one scored very high and we love the door in the door part of it. That saves a lot of cooling when opening the door for a drink or something you use a lot. Happy so far.

We have had French door frig before. They have ice maker issues, or even temp issues in the upper compartment as the ice maker air freezes vegetables and fruit. This unit keeps a very even temp through out the fridge and makes enough ice with the two ice makers! Great fridge.

I love this refrigerator. This is the only LG fridge that offers 2 ice makers, so it’s very convenient if you host a big party. In addition, the easy to reach door in door is superb. I don’t have to open the whole fridge just to get my drinks, and that door can hold up to many bottles.

Absolutely love this fridge. Perfect for my children to grab the "everyday use" items out of the door in a door option. Love that this also has a second ice make for those days we have company. Did have one issue with the ice maker inside the fridge leaking a little but Best Buy got us a new one ordered right away!

I love that this fridge has 2 ice makers! Even though the one in the door is small. It is worth it. The other one is in the freezer. You can turn it on or off and remove bin for ice

Two ice makers and door in door features are good to have.

I bought the LG - Door-in-Door 28.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator on 4/22/17 and on 5/27/17 the freezer stopped working. There was no warning, no alarms and no error messages on the front panel...I opened up the freezer and everything within the freezer had thawed and the ice had melted, thank goodness the refrigerator was still cold. This was Memorial Day weekend and we were set to have several parties but now without a freezer. So I reached out to LG's (800) number and I received the worst customer service one could expect for a less than a month old refrigerator. When I called LG Customer Service I was told that they could not get anyone out to repair my unit until 5/31, then on 5/29, I received a call from the repair company letting me know that they do not service my area. When I asked the repair company why they were calling me and not LG, they told me that when they called LG that LG told them to contact me and ask me to call back into LG to request another repair company. Like I want to call back into LG at this point. Back to my original call to LG Customer Service on 5/27, when I asked about how LG was going to cover me for the lost items within my freezer, they let me know that their warranty doesn't cover lost food items due to their refrigerator not working. When I asked to talk to a supervisor I was forwarded to Cathy (she was not allowed to give me her last name per their policy) and she told me that she could extend as much as $150 for any food lost. After I mentioned that $150 would not cover the lost food, I asked to talk to her supervisor and she let me know that I could not speak with anyone from LG higher than herself, it was policy that customers that have customer satisfaction issues can not talk to any executives or leave messages and expect a return phone call from LG executives. If this is the type of service you can expect from LG when a product of theirs is less than a month old, how can anyone expect for LG to stand by any of their products or by their customers no matter how old the product is.
