Love the double french doors and the 2 ice makers. Makes plenty of ice. The door-in-door is nice for items that we use often. No complaints except of course the stainless steel that requires cleaning due to finger prints. The one side is not smooth (rippled) probably due to delivery. Best Buy does not have their own delivery people. I was compensated but I still have to look at it every day. Otherwise very happy with it.

It is very quiet, lot of space for storage. love the door in door function, I have it for over one month, so far do not find any problem

Our large family loves this fridge. The kids like the milk door and the size of the ice cubes. I like the fact that the ice maker is hidden in the door which allows for more space in the top left corner of the fridge. Also the extra ice maker in the freezer is great for filling up our cooler. We love the setup and all the features and I guess our only issue is that the stainless steel seems to leave fingerprints like crazy. Seems more than our old fridge or other stainless appliances. Other than that this fridge is just about perfect.

This refrigerator has just the right mix of features for convenience -- door-in-door for access to often-used things, two ice makers that provide enough ice even with guests in the house, large bottom freezer, water filter bypass plug when your input water is already filtered. A truly outstanding Best Buy!

The LG door feature (only the exterior opens if selected) is quite cool. we have started keeping frequently used items in there to reduce the cold air loss. One thing that we did not see in the reviews is that this unit has TWO ice makers. I love having the bottom ice box accessible and easily removable without reducing the "drink ice" that is there.

Have been happy with this refrigerator so far. Looks good, is very functional, and much quieter than our last LG fridge. Love the dual ice maker, door in door and easy to access "glide n serve" drawer. Retracting 1/2 shelf gives flexibility for tall items and lighting makes it easy to see anywhere and everywhere inside. It takes a little getting used to the narrow bins on the inside of the doors but with the "door in door" and "water/ice in door" features there has to be some tradeoffs.

Nice, roomy fridge... make sure you measure and have plenty of space because it takes up a full fridge space in most kitchens in every direction including outward. You need to have some reach for the back portion... that's how tall it is Love the door-in-door feature and the freezer design One downside is there is limited space for tall items. You need to fold up one shelf to accommodate them inside the fridge as opposed to the door, which fills up quickly.

I have owned this fridge for four months and really like it. It is very spacious and has plenty of storage bins for all types of food. I also like the fact that it has two areas of ice. Whether you need ice for your glass of water or need to fill a cooler, this fridge does the job. My only critique is that it does make some weird noises but those are far and few between.

We were excited about this one cause it was replacing a 10 yr old fridge. We looked at a couple of models and decided that this was a good fit for us. Yes it has more that enough space. But the configuration leaves a lot to be desired. The slide in shelf is way too easy to retract. If you are reaching for something on the shelf right blow it and accidentally push it in you risk spilling everything that is placed on the retractable shelf. Happened twice already. This shelf should lock in place to avoid spills. The large lower drawer, should be split into 2 drawers because you cannot pull it out without opening bot doors??? Of course it was an awsome feature until we got around to using it. That's when we discovered the reality of it. Oh well.. now the door within a door feature (right side door). Some times it takes a good amount of force to make sure it closes right. The inside plastic see thru door often opens by itself if you slam the door also. When you open the right side door it flaps around inside and I fear eventually it's gonna break, so I suggest the warranty. When you open the left side door it it has a flap that seals between doth doors. Sometimes you open that left side door and when you try to close it, the flap remains in the closed position and then you have to manually flip it to the open position so it will close right if not it will jam in between the door and remain open. This us definitely a design flaw and will probably end up eventually breaking at some point. Again i cant stress it enough "get the warranty." This is about all that I have encountered as an inconvenience with this unit, but other than that it is great. Lots of space, love the double icemaker, and the energy star rating is great. Apparently it has wifi to let you know if there are any issues or if somethimg needs repair. I Still have not had to use this feature, but I think when and if it ever breaks down I'll just call the bestbuy warranty team and let them figure it out. For the one I could see myself rethinking this purchase. But like all things it will probably grow on me. Good luck.

Going from a comparable sized side by side (SBS(to this was harder than I expected. My first shock was how many things we had previously stored in the doors of the SBS, and which now had no home in the new fridge. The door in door is great (had one previously), and the ice/water works well even with taller bottles/glasses. The freezer is still a mess, since I can't figure out an efficient way to organize it - everything is just tossed into it (I'd purchased plastic bins for the SBS that fit the shelves perfectly, and allowed me to separate all of my frozen products by category). I think showing what the "goal" temperature of the fridge/freezer on the display is stupid - I'd rather know what it actually is. With over 30 halogen lights, you can see EVERYTHING, which is great! I'd give the recommendation a maybe if that was a choice. All I really need to do is figure out a good layout to efficiently utilize both the fridge & freezer, and I'd definitely recommend it!

I researched for about 6 months. My old refridgerator was a Samsung that had gotten to the point I had to thaw the ice maker section every Sunday. This refridgerator is the ONLY one I found that had very little bad reviews for the ice maker. So far, we have had this about a month and are very happy with it. There are two things that keep this from being a 5 star for me personally. First you have to open both doors to pull out the drawer where we keep sandwich meats and things of this type. The other is the water dispenser. It does not come out at the same area as the ice. It is in front and although works nicely. It has no light to light up the area when filling early in the morning or late at night. Now this may sound trival, but needing to turn on the lights to put water in your glass to make sure you dont spill it, is a bit odd. Other than those two issues this is a great refridgerator. Oh by the way, this one has 2 ice makers!! The one in the freezer section works great as well. It is a bit slow as it took close to a week and a half to fill the tray. (large one though). Over all we are VERY happy with our choice.

Really liking this refrigerator. The door in door is so helpful for those quick items you get a lot. I love the double ice maker as the ice maker in refrigerator ice melts faster due to it being in refrigerator with this type of refrigerator so nice to have freezer one also. Only complaint I have is as I saw in other reviews it does run a bit loud.

I bought this fridge during the Black Friday sale. So I have only had it for 4 months. It works great so far and has soooo much space. It was perfect for the holidays when I needed space. The motor is quite when it’s on and has TWO ice makers!!! A plus when hosting. I did purchase the geek squad warranty in case anything should happen. Otherwise nothing but a beautiful great working fridge!!!

We really love this product! Door in door keeps the kids "out" of the main part of the refrigerator. Great lighting and smart design of water dispenser round out this highly rated (and deservedly so) refrigerator.

This is my 1st French door refrigerator. Still getting used to the double doors, what food is on what side. More space than my side by side. Love having 2 ice makers, no more running out of ice, at least less likely. Quiet. Wish the doors opened a little further and stayed open a little easier.

Very satisfied with my choice of refrigerator. Can't get over all the room in the refrigerator. I like the deli drawer and the 3 bins for fruits and vegetables. The door indoor feature is an added bonus. I am pleased with the room in the freezer section. My final decision for making this purchase was the double ice maker. No complaints about noise. Nice addition to any kitchen.

We replaced our Fridgidaire after 1.5 years of owning it because we had to have someone out 5 times to repair it. The secondary ice maker in the freezer is a nice feature but we haven't had to use it, the in door ice maker makes enough for us. Only downside is how easily it gets fingerprints on it.

Great looking. Super quiet. Fast ice makers. The deli drawer requires both fridge doors to be open in order to pull out...this didn't seem like a problem, then we started using it. The storage shelves in the doors are very narrow. If you buy the big condiment bottles (big family) they don't fit, forcing you to take up space on the shelves. Freezer door requires a hefty push to close all the way. Convinced there is NO perfect fridge.

Two short paragraphs to this review: the refrigerator and Best Buy Service. 1. The refrigerator has a lot of space and the door in door is great. We replaced a 13 year old GE 25 cu. ft. side-by-side and are amazed by how much more space this unit has. One odd thing is the location of water dispenser. It is located out and above the ice dispenser and drip tray. Not really an issue, just odd and takes a day or two to get used to, or really our young kids to get used to. Overall, great fridge. 2. Best Buy service - Overall, I am satisfied. However, we originally we ordered the LG Model LFX31945ST when it was on sale. On the morning of the delivery, we were informed by the local Best Buy delivery team the refrigerator was no longer available and was discontinued. My expectation was Best Buy would honor the price original purchase price and offer the new model replacing the no longer available item ordered. Unfortunately, this was not the case. In the end, Best Buy was reasonable and fair, but I am still disappointed we did not get the original item ordered or the exact replacement model as an alternative.

SO far the frig has been great . you barely hear it run it makes lots of ice and love the dual ice makers. I want to see if it makes a difference on my electric bill my old frig was over 12 years old and I hated the side by side. this is just more user friendly and I got a great price at best buy nobody could come close to the price I paid I am very happy with the LG
