Good smartphone that gives you the option to have internet or not

I needed a basic, non-smart phone. Not a lot of choices out there. I wish the phone was a bit larger since the screen is not as big as I would like, and the keypad is really too tight. The keypad needed much better research & quality control. I'm getting used to its downsides & I am counting on the quality of LG products to have it a while.

This is a good phone for someone who just wants to make phone calls and send/receive texts. The only problem is the screen is sensitive and when you put it to your head to talk and you cheek touches the screen it will hang up on the person on the other line.

My son loves his new phone. It is compact, and easy to use. No data plan needed but block internet if you don't want data charges.

Replaced my broken phone with this model, since LG discontinued my old phone. This is one has a sensitive touch screen, and it has been a steep learning curve for me to figure out all the features. It is a good training ground for someone who doesn't want a true smartphone with all the bells and whistles.

My daughter broke her last phone and got this one as a replacement. it's a way better phone, looks nicer, works wonderfully! She is thrilled it's a touch screen

This is a great phone for someone that does not wish to use a smartphone. It is durable and easy to use, sleek and very pretty. LG makes great products.

This is a really nice basic slider phone for people who prefer a full keyboard. There aren't many phones in this group, but its exactly what I like. I am totally satisfied and the phone works great. The only negative I could come up with is that the body of the phone itself is curvy and sleek but this makes it a little slippery...sort of like trying to hold onto a wet bar of soap!

bought this phone for my wife who doesn't mix well with technology. She claims that the touch screen is too sensitive and does not react when it should. Maybe another choice would be better

Great little cell phone for people who are not interested in smart phones. I helped my parents pick out these phones because they wanted a stylish phone that they could just call, text and take a picture on occasion.

It does make calls, text, take pics and video, but it's definitely not the best basic phone I have ever had. It's slow and a bit user unfriendly in its os design. But hey, it was cheap and I don't have to pay the stupid data plan charges.

My 12year old wanted this over the s5 she had. I think that says it all.

I bought this phone for my 11-yr old for phone calls and texting only and it's perfect.

I debated about a smart phone but it was too complicated. This is a good inbetween phone that allows me to send pictures and text easier than my old phone but isn't as overwhelming as going from a basic phone to a smart phone. I like the little keyboard which I never had before.

I only need a portable phone, as I save my internet access to home. However, if I need to access email, I can add this for a fee. Likewise I can pay for internet access a la carte. The phone is easy to use, and it improves upon my last basic phone in that it is not constantly shutting off and on in my pocket. The camera is fine.

THIS PHONE IS GREAT FOR A PERSON THAT USED TO HAVE A FLIP PHONE AND NOW GOING TO NEW PHONES

I got this because it is one of the few phones you can still get without having to pay for a data plan. Works okay but sometimes shuts off while talking to someone. Otherwise it does the job.

This is a good phone for Grandma or a child. I purchased this one as my daughter's first phone. I love it so far.

It's no smartphone but it does more than you need from a phone... meaning it does more than just make calls.

Good product for a non smart phone. Works well and is easy to use.
