While I like the phone itself, the number of dropped calls is ridiculous. Reception is very poor.

I did quite a bit of research before getting this phone. I also considered the HTC one, the Motorola Moto X, and the Samsung Galaxy, but ended up with the LG G2 and feel I made a great choice. I have had this phone for a few months now and I love it. I use it mainly for texts, pictures, calls, a couple game apps and some light internet. The larger screen is nice, as it makes internet browsing that much easier, and pictures are easier to see. The battery is amazing. I last charged it 10 days ago and it still has about a1/3 charge. I leave it on 24/7, but I am probably considered a light user. The tap on tap off feature is quite cool. I read reports about it's issues, but for the most part, mine works fine. I have noticed that sometimes it takes a harder tap to get it on than off. The camera takes great photos, no issues there. Internet service seems quite reliable, and the speeds with it are good. The buttons on the back are a nice touch, but I just wish they had placed them a little further from the camera lens. As it is, they are placed right next to the lens so you have to be careful where you put your finger when searching for the buttons. Because of the close proximity, I can't trust myself to touch without looking first, so the purpose of buttons on the back is kind of defeated. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this phone.

Not quite as software feature rich as other offerings and the LG customizations make some features difficult to access but overall a good phone. Would love it if LG were a bit more responsive with Android updates and a bit less enamored with menu customizations. Good battery life, camera, and Spark data connectivity is a big improvement over Sprint's past offerings. Don't bother buying a Sprint phone without it.

It drops calls constantly, doesn't let you dial out, sends incoming calls straight to voicemail, and rarely has internet service, this phone should have never been produced. I haven't had time to return it, but I will.

This phone was recomended to be by the associate. I already planned to get the htc one and he asked to show me this one. As soon as he turned on the screen I was in love!!!!! The picture quality was amazing. The storage is amazing 32gbs. No SD slot but who really cares when it has 32gbs. The battery is internal so you dont have to worry about buying a seprate part if you need. But the quality is amazing and I got it when it was on sale so I only paid a $1

    Amazing phone

I have owned cell phones since the first Motorola's back in the 90's. That's just to put this review in perspective. I jumped on the cyber week deal of purchasing a free LG G2. All I have to say is wow! This phone does it all. The screen is amazing and makes everything look great. The camera is perfect. I have children and the camera is a deal breaker for me on a phone. I can tell you I don't need another camera. The pictures this phone takes are amazing. And since I am a techie the fact that I can personalize this any way I want is great. I was nervous about the LG skin over Android but it's not bad at all. Actually, many of the menus and layouts are extremely intuitive. Disclaimer though, I am a techie so for someone that just needs a phone to actually make calls and check email this might be a bit much. This DOES NOT have expandable memory. The Best Buy site says it does but I already knew ahead of time it didn't. It comes with 32GB built in which around 24GB is usable. That's more than enough for me as I use many cloud services to store my documents, pics, etc. The final thing I will say is if you have small hands this is not the phone for you. This is basically a tablet trapped in a phones body. It works for me but it might not work for others.

Best phone for the financially aware!

I just recently upgraded to this phone from a Samsung S2 and so far this phone has been a major improvement in all areas. I was looking for the HTC One at first because I purchase one for my wife for her upgrade and she is very happy with it. However when going into store I noticed this one for $49.99 and me being financially aware ( cheap! ) I had to look at it. First thing I noticed is the resolution of the screen, it looked very sharp. I asked about everything from common use to what's the biggest difference from the competition. The battery life was one of the deciding factors for me since I have to run a mileage app for work and that drained my S2 within 4 hours of a full charge. So far this has exceeded all of my expectations to the fullest. I'm not tech nerd so don't know how to operate 75% of this phone's apps but it was $0 after the best buy gift card promo applied. Got a great, up to date, phone for now with no money. Gotta love it!

Everything I Need in a cell phone

I'm so glad my search for a phone is over! I don't consider myself a cell phone guru at all, but this phone satisfies my every NEED. My search was narrowed between HTC One, GS4 and the LG G2. I admit that the price of 0.00 weighed in on my decision, but I'm thoroughly pleased so far only after 1 week. I switched from an HTC EVO 3D, so as you can see I don't have to have the latest and greatest. After loading tons of pics/video and a decent music library, I still have 14GB of free space. Besides, I think I'm moving all non-sensitive data to the cloud anyway to make any future transition easier. As for all the hype about Beats Audio in the HTC One....listening to music through external cell phone speakers has never been my thing. However, this phone rocks when using the headphones. It is larger than my previous but definitely nothing I can't handle with one hand even though I think I have small hands for a man. It will be even better once I get my grip casing. In closing, this phone was a huge upgrade for me and I'm loving it so far.

    Upgraded from a Photon 4G

I upgraded from my Motorola Photon 4G, which I liked, but was stuck on Android 2.3.5 because Motorola wasn't updating it anymore...seriously. Anyway, I went in for the HTC One, and after talking with the mobile salesperson, I decided on going with the LG G2. The phone is sleek, fast and the interface is easy to use. The button on the back is really stupid, but since you have the "knock knock" feature to turn it on and off, you will hardly use it. As a matter of fact, I have only used the power button to screenshot (hold power and volume down). The sound quality is junk, but seriously, if you actually use your phone as a listening device for music, you deserve to be disappointed. The call quality is different from my Photon, but not quite sure if it's better or worse yet. Overall, I love this phone. It's a major improvement over previous phones I've owned. I'm 41 years old, so watching as technology becomes faster and faster, and fits in your pocket, is wonderful to watch. The phone was free with 2 year upgrade so price was awesome too.
