The G4 is an excellent phone. The camera is great, and screen resolution is better than any I have seen. The extras that LG has thrown in are great also. Got an extra battery and extra 32 GB of storage.

Between the $100 best buy gift card & the 1250 reward points for upgrading using the At&t next program. I believe it's worth it. Had the Samsung Note 3. The Lg G4 seems like the screen is just a hair smaller. It's definitely lighter. Which is nice when its in your pocket walking around. Also if you purchase the phone from a Lg authorized retailer. Ifyou submit the receipt to Lg.com or mail in a copy with the serial number Lg will send you a extra battery, charging cradle & a 32gb micro sd card. The new Samsung phones are now like the iphone were you have the 32,,64 or 128 gb version. No more micro sd slot which i've invested in a 64gb most expensive & fastest you can get

For an Android based phone it is one of the best. Every swipe is a delight with no lag or freezing. Very efficient battery usage and the battery is user replaceable. Sadly that is something that other phones are not doing as much anymore. The camera is really nice and almost to the level of a standalone digital camera with fast image captures and plenty of settings in manual mode. Video can go up to 4k although you are limited to 5 min video. You can even use your phone as an infrared remote for your TV. WiFi range is really good and can take advantage of the latest standards (802.11ac). Fits really good in your pocket since it is very slim and the screen is slightly concave. The backside is rounded and there are many options for cases you can purchase. This phone should be considered if you are shopping for a top of the line cell phone. LG has done a fine job.

I love the Phone. The camera is very nice, shoots good quality pictures and has ability to shoot raw. The option of swapping the battery is very nice, specially since LG had the free extra battery promotion going on. I can charge my spare battery separately and carry with me for longer trips. I added a 64 Gb SD card to the phone and now I have enough storage to shoots a ton of pictures and 4K videos.
The Knock to wake feature is amazing. I think that should be a standard feature for all the Android devices. Overall a very nice Phone.
The only issue I have is that the LG software on top of the Android is sometimes slow. Specially coming form a Nexus device it feels clumsy sometimes.

Before buying the LG G4, I was using a Samsung Galaxy S3 for about two years. I did a lot of research before choosing a new cell phone, and before purchasing the G4 I actually bought the LG V10. The V10 was a great phone, but for me it was just way too large to handle comfortably. I returned it after several days and decided the G4 was an excellent choice for me.
Its 64-bit processor and 3GB of RAM make the phone amazingly fast. It's very comfortable to hold, and just as all of the reviews stated, the screen is large, bright, and insanely sharp. I really love this phone.
For protection, I purchased the Otterbox Defender case at Best Buy, I definitely recommend buying that case. One thing I do not like about the Defender case though is the flimsy screen protector, so I tore it out and use the Invsible Shield 'Glass' hard plastic screen protector. This combination provides excellent visibility and touch precision.

Well I have always loved lg phones the g2, g3 and now the g4 definitely one of the better phones out there today. But there are some definite flaws first I believe the screen is good not great see some improvements from the the g3, next the battery could be a little better I got some great battery life from the g3 with no issue I'm a heavy user when it come to my phones I'm glad they included quick charge in the g4, now the touch screen issue is a big draw back I have never had any issue with any phone I've ever owned but this at times gets a little frustrating haven't see a fix yet for it but I hope it comes soon, next the software is a bit laggy when trying to do multiple things at once don't know if its the processor or the software or what, now the camera is the biggest feature that was pointed out on this phone I'm not gonna say its the greatest camera out there but it is a big improvement from the g3, I have watched a lot of reviews from the s6 and the g4 and personally i would have preferred the s6 but I don't like the fact that the s6 doesn't have the micro SD card slot I'm not particular on the removable battery but would of liked to see on the s6 anywho, I would say the g4 is leaps and bounds better than lots of phones out there and I'm sure with software updates this phone can be great.

Picked up this phone coming from a 2014 Moto X. I was a little nervous about the size of the G4, but figured I would give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The phone for some reason doesn't seem any bigger for carrying purposes, but I do notice and like the Xtra screen real estate. The screen is also gorgeous. Very sharp and vivid. The camera is amazing, which is one reason I chose the phone. I swear it makes its own light (with flash tuned off) for low light situations. It really takes great pics. Some people seem to complain about LG, Samsung etc.. putting their own spin on android. Coming from a Moto X, which has a stock android experience, I must say that I love the extras that LG has in their version. Very intuitive extras in my opinion and some really cool customizations. Much better than stock android.
The phone has great call quality, and holds a signal very well. It is as good as my old Moto X, which is important to me, as we live in a weak signal area. I also love the buttons on the back. What a great idea, they are so much easier to locate and use vs the small side buttons. Battery is average to good.
As you can see, I really like the phone, and would recommend anyone in the market, to take the G4 for a spin.

This is my first Android phone. My wife and I were iPhone users until last year. We decided to get her a Samsung S5 last year and this year was my turn to upgrade. We are still loyal iPad users but the Android smartphones have left Apple in the dust in our opinion. Miracast screen mirroring works great with our Sony TVs.
I fell in love with the LG G3 last year. The huge screen of a phablet at the size and weight of smaller competitors spoke to me. When Samsung opted to copy Apple's design and exclude removable battery and microSD this cycle, my options came down to the older Note 4 and the G4. Once I held the G4 in my hands the decision was obvious. They took the extreme curve of the Flex and made it subtle on the G4. The curved screen and rounded backside make it comfortable to hold, especially when talking on the phone (no more holding a hot phone against my cheek to talk, now just my ear). The QuickCircle case is another feature I like and use.
I still believe the Note is a superior device overall, but I no longer need a phone for work or school. The Note is heavy and bulky compared to the G4. The G4 actually feels lighter than my iPhone 5 did in my pocket (i forget it's there or which pocket it's in).
I am disappointed with the battery life. I figured that the hexacore processor would be very efficient. However, with several apps running it eats through the battery and barely charges when in use and connected to standard (2A) power. Quick charge 2.0 is supported however the included charger is not QC compatible. You have to purchase seperately which greatly adds to the price of the phone. If you need to recharge quickly, the phone needs to be powered off or at least asleep, even with Quick charge. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. In the meantime the promotional spare battery will mitigate the power issue once I receive it along with the external charger and leather back.

I was deciding between another phone and this phone. After researching and reading various reviews I decided on this LG G4. The reason I chose this are:
1 - Expandable sim card feature (Not available on other phone)
2 - Changeable battery feature (Not available on other phone)
3 - Camera picture quality (comparable to others)
After using the phone for about a month, I am quite satisfied. It got some getting used to the button on the back of the phone to turn it on, but that was no big deal since the phone is slim, making it easy to hold. I didn't like all the preloaded apps on the phone. I got rid of a bunch of them and kept the basic ones I used.
Camera:
The quality of the pictures come out very well. Some are a little grainy with low lighting, but that's how most cameras are. The one thing that got me was when I was doing a selfy shot in the vertical position, the picture comes out a bit elongated when you are at the bottom. While it made me skinnier, it elongated my whole face making me a different person.
When I am taking a picture there is some lag time between pushing the button and actually taking the shot. So, I would just hold the button and get a burst of pictures and chose which one to keep.
Taking video on this camera is awesome. The sound and picture quality are even better than my quality digital camera.
Overall I am happy with my purchase. I couldn't have asked for a better phone with the features I appreciate.

The LG G4 is all it was advertised. The feel is comfortable for a larger phone and the camera is awesome. Switching from Samsung I was sceptical as to the quality of LG, but I an glad I made the switch. The expandable memory and removable battery were key to my decision. Gives my the flexibility that I need.

I bought this phone specifically for the camera. I wanted a high quality camera that could shoot RAW. The Camera is outstanding. It focuses well and pulls a lot of light. I noticed though that the raw images have a green/teal tint but i found a camera profile in Lightroom that can mostly fix that.
As for the phone it works well, but i'm not 100% a fan of some of the LG UI elements. The phone is snappy, the battery life is great. The screen is very nice, if more neutral on the colors.

The phone works really well and easy to use, very pleased with my choice. Most phones are the same, but I needed one with a really good camera. My expensive digital camera is great but bulky. My LG G4 phone camera takes great shots that have vivid crisp colors and easy to use. We went on tour in a cave, the pictures turned out awesome. Natural looking photos, without any special effort. The photos weren't washed out or too dark. I now use my phone for photos more than my expensive digital camera. I like being able to switch cards out too, makes it easier for when I'm on the go. The note cover I bought extra has saved my phone many times when it has been dropped and from being scratched in my purse or pocket. The size is just right for my pockets, my purse and for handling. Worth the money so far. I have recommended it to several of my friends.

This phone is the best overall choice right now. The Best Buy exclusive blue color is really nice, and you still see the blue volume controls if you replace the back with the leather option. It's cheaper than other flagships with arguably the best camera available, a big screen in a smaller body, and decent battery life.

Watch your phone account, even though I bought the phone out right BB changed my plan causing it to go up by 20.00 luckily att is fixing that.

Screen is bright and the resolution makes text look crisp and sharp. Battery life is very good and easily lasts me all day with moderate use. The speaker is not the best but it is loud and can fill a room with sound. I accidentally dropped the device (with protective case) from a height of 3' with no damage. Despite the larger screen this phone is still pocketable without feeling bulky. Overall I would recommend this device to anyone wanting a device with a physically large screen.

Recently upgraded on AT&T to the LG G4, this is my first time buying a high end phone so short after its launch.Thuis far the feel of the leather back of the LG G4 is better than other phones out in similar size by Apple. Samsung and HTC. The fact this phone has a removable battery and SD card slot is a huge win also for the LG G4 IMO.
When is comes to photos I normally get the blurriest shots which also tend to include my thumb. With the LG G4 I have never seen better photos taken by myself ever. The camera is easy to use and the manual setting were easy to figure out and helped a lot in some of my night time photos I tried recently on Vacation.
If you are looking for a new phone for the price you pay and what you get LG G4 is a clear winner over all others being currently offered as of this review.

I bought this phone on sale in late 2016. The camera and screen are amazing and the removable battery is a nice feature to have. For the price I paid, it well deserves 5 stars. The specs are equal to or better than mid-range phones being released today if you can find a deal on the G4 I recommend picking one up.
Things I'm not wild about: the buttons on the back, the over-complicated LG UX on top of Android, no fast charging.

I have used over five android phones this year, plus a Windows phone. This phone is by far the best of the lot! It has everything I want: removable battery, SD card, ultra high DEF screen, 32 GB of memory, and great camera. This phone is future proof. I highly recommend it, and believe it to be the best bargain android phone on the market.
