I upgraded to this phone on Verizon, from a Samsung S5. The phone has worked great thus far. The menus are pretty intuitive. It's fast. The camera is great. The battery generally lasts me about two days, with normal usage. I don't ask a lot from a phone, but I'm completely pleased with my purchase.

When I got it I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the weight of the device. If you are a light user and don't constantly use your phone but need to check emails and notifications than you can't go wrong with this device. I use it just for that and had a hard time finding such. Most phones for whatever reason use about 5-10% of battery just by leaving it on at night. This phone however uses at most 3%. I was surprised that this phone lasted me 48 hours and I still have 20% left. I highly recommend this for the standby time alone let alone for all the other things this device brings. I however do not recommend this for the power user since you will mostly get out of it about 4 hours of screen time. Thanks for reading and hope you find what you like.

LG has made me a happy smart phone user. I have owned 3 LG phones in the past and have always found them to be reliable and within my budget pricewise. The LG G6 was released with very good reviews and was the right size, had the right features, and fast processor that I wanted. It was a few months until this flagship phone became available within my price range. Best Buy had a wonderful sale on this phone unlike Verizon or other box stores. I am happy that I bought it from Best Buy and have owned it for two weeks now. I changed from the LG V10 which was bigger and bulkier, but, a work horse of a phone. The V10 was a year and a half old and I was still paying on it with Verizon. The battery was starting to go, the processor was still running fine, but, it was time for me to trade in. Best Buy gave me a nice trade-in value for it and I am now enjoying my new LG 6. Thanks Best Buy.

This might be the best phone I've owned. I've been using smartphones since Palm O/S. I've had plenty of Blackberry and Moto models, and a Samsung Galaxy.
I'll start with the negative - I miss some of the Moto user experience - it knew when I was driving and could read a text aloud or taking other automated actions because I was driving. But no big deal.
I was very hesitant to buy this phone because there were some reviews questioning the Gorilla Glass being used. With proper quality cases and Zagg screens, that should be a non-issue. For virtually any phone. Fingers crossed.
The camera is easy and outstanding. The form factor is great. The speed and reliability also seem excellent. I really have no issues and am just very happy with the overall phone use. I do wish there was a way to change "Ok Google" to a custom phrase but can't find that capability. I'll live.

The G6 has many great features. It charges wirelessly in my truck, takes great pictures and is a perfect size. I like the android OS and experience clear calls even when using wifi calling.

Double camera feature is quite nice, water proof, plenty of screen protectors available, sd card takes care of only 32 gb of memory. Battery life is above average and finger print reader is very fast. Nice up grade from my LG g3. Best part is this phone only cost 11.99 per month for 24 months, with no early payoff charges. I chose the LG g6 over the Samsung S8, not a fan of the curved screen.

I got this during Memorial day deal ($12/month). I consider this a great deal. Surprised by how beautiful the phone was compared to my last one (G3). Really enjoy the larger/longer screen. Battery life is acceptable. I like finally having wireless charging. Have yet to play with camera much but seems decent.
My last LG G3 crapped out in about a year so we will see.... Thankfully, had some type of insurance/protection plan so got a free replacement (had to replace twice actually).

I got this for my wife to replace her aging v10. To my surprise, the battery life is better than my s7 edge and i actually prefer the g6 over my Samsung. Personally I feel that both the curved edge samsung screens and the second screen on the lg v series phones are pointless gimmicks. The g6's screen is beautiful and the camera is on par with my Samsung in real world comparisons. LG did a great job designing this phone and hopefully it will get the respect it deserves.

I got the LG G6 a few weeks ago to use as a new primary phone at a price that was worth giving it a shot. No phone is perfect, but the LG G6 is a great phone which many Apple and Samsung fanboys/fangirls won't notice. After having the phone for a few weeks, here are some thoughts:
Coming from the Pixel XL (which I still have but as a work phone), some of my favorite features are some of LG's apps are streamlined, simple, and useful, especially the e-mail app where it actually tells me how many unread messages I have, the full manual control in the camera is great, a nice, crisp screen, and most importantly expandable memory. A friend of the family is an avid photographer and she and her husband got the G6 after playing with mine. I've taken some great pictures on the phone. Some of them you could have sworn came from a DSLR when looking at them on a larger screen.
The phone is not getting much attention because of the S8 and iPhone 7 series, but that's ok...sometimes the better products are under the radar.

LG doesn't get a lot of love like Samsung and Apple so but they have offered some great alternatives over the years. The G6 has an excellent build with an awesome screen. Feels good in the hand. Solid with good weight. The fingerprint sensor works flawlessly and is in a perfect spot. The duel cameras are as advertised and fun to use. I would have bought this phone even without the great price Best Buy had it for. Highly recommend.

Well, first off, I have switched from Samsung to an LG phone just to try it...this is my third LG phone. I had the LG G3, G4 and now the G6.... I LOVE THIS PHONE! Its gorgeous, i love the color, fits perfectly in my hand but has a wide screen....simple and beautiful. The only gripe I have is I got used to the volume on the back of the phone....I prefer that but aside from that, this phone is fast and beautiful. Thanks LG.

Battery is better than the G3 we had. Picture editing save to a current time, not the taken time as the G3. no "landscape" mode panorama, only in portrait.half of the time it freezes while recording clips, need to clear all the process before recording clips. still hate the picture/clip filename in mmddyyhhmm# format, not like other carriers and unlocked in yyyymmddhhmmss# format, just don't know why LG or Verizon keeps this stupid format. why no 64GB? apps are nowadays is bigger and bigger in size.

I bought this when it was only $288 when activating with Verizon. I upgraded from the Nexus 6P. Overall, it's a solid phone and worth the upgrade. The camera is very good, not Pixel good, but good. I love the size, feel, and screen to body ratio. Overall a great phone if you can get it for a good price.

Love this phone. Always had Samsung phones. Like the LG G6 better than any other phone I have had. The 2:1 ratio screen is great, the duel cameras takes wonderful pictures, really like the wide angle lens. Wireless charging works good and the speaker is load and clear. Very well made phone. do yourself a favor and buy it.

Phone was on sale at a price that was impossible to pass up. What I didn't anticipate was that it would delighted with its features and feel. My wife has the other guy's newest and greatest; I just like how this fits in my hands. It has a slightly better camera, and less bloatware-everything else are equal.

Got this as a replacement for my dead LG V10 (which LG repaired for free just a week later), and it's great. Very easy to use. Very small even though it packed in this huge screen. Greatly improved battery life. As long as this doesn't die like my V10, I'll keep sticking with LG over Samsung and Apple.
