I bought 2 of these monitors for my home computer. I wanted a dual display with large screens and this monitor fit my budget. The only think I don't care for is the funky on/off switch. It is a touch switch and I prefer a conventional switch with a solid tactile response.

I wanted to purchase this monitor for graphic arts as most of 2013 LG monitors are of great quality (not 2014). It came damaged, because of improper packaging - the box was almost empty and three times bigger than monitor.

I got this for a steal on the website and it is like new. I could not be happier.

No don't do it, spend your money more wisely than I did. Hit the back button and go to the next monitor.

I bought two of these monitors for my win 8 powered system. For years I've only used Asus monitors. But when I saw these LGs on sale at my local BB store I decided to try em out. The picture on these is pretty good. After about 6 months, no bleed yet. LED displays usually produce almost zero heat. Which is a huge plus for me. For what I use mine for right now, I didn't need to dive into the settings and calibrate the picture(s). Setup was simple, about as simple as it gets really. The stand is a little flimsy, but if you're going around beating things against your monitor you have more to worry about than a flimsy bezel. I have these sitting on an L-shaped, glass desk.. right on the edge. I'm not worried about the stand being flimsy at all. And I'm always walking around the back of my desk for one reason or another. These stands do swivel a little bit if needed. I've tried multi-monitor gaming, watching movies and reading e-books/e-magazines with these and my eyes don't get tired. No more than they should, anyway. As for the bezel: Its thin. Around the sides it's probably less than a 1/4 inch. Your picture may not fit the whole screen right away, but YOU can fix that with software that comes on just about any computer. I have an AMD HD-7850 powering the two I have, after 10 seconds and a few clicks the pictures go as far as they can. Currently running at 3840 x 1080 resolution. I'm going to order a 3rd(probably refurbished) and go for a full 3-monitor, Eyefinity setup running 5760 x 1080.

I bought this in Monitor in the month of August 2014. It worked great for few weeks after 2 months I noticed the screen turned off few times after working for few minutes. It became annoying after 3 months. I visited BestBuy store today and was told it's out of manufacture's warranty. It's just 3 months old from date of purchase and not in warranty. I used to shop often @ BestBuy for the great services and products they offered. This was a very bitter experiences, I spent 2 hours in Phone and 2 hours waiting at Geek Squd to know I cannot get my monitor fixed.
