Too easy to be hacked

Hacked by neighbors right after I get out of the Best Buy store (the car was waiting for me to get out of the store and USB tethering was attached). I cannot turn off the USB tethering and language choice was changed only to English and Spanish. Phone calls are listened and camera works without my control. I know it is not the expensive device but it is too easy to be hacked

It's a prepaid, locked phone with budget hardware specs, packaged with a pin used to unlock the micro SD card tray to expand memory, but not by much since the limit is 32 GB for micro SD, which was OK in like 2015 but is laughably inadequate in the year of our Lord 2021. Also, phone storage is a ridiculously minuscule 8 GB, which means after you install updates, you can forget about CANDY CRUSH or ANGRY BIRDS because you won't have space left over for game apps. I got VeryDice on this LG by the skin of my teeth. The gorgeous 1440 x 720 display almost makes up for the hardware shortcomings, but the keyword is ALMOST since the display shows you in gorgeous detail just how little you'll be able to do with what the Journey provides. Solid build quality, can't remove the battery, oh well. For $25, closeout, honestly this exceeds expectations. In any other circumstance, this phone would disappoint, but in this particular instance I'm not expecting to own this for long, so it will work for the time being. 4 out of 5.

This phone works pretty good. It was brought as a gift for an older person and they were able to navigate the phone very well. The picture left much to be desired for but I just needed a phone that can dial number with minimal internet use and this fits the bill.

I like the phone and it’s easy to use prompts. It’s very dependable when using icons, messaging, and the over all amount of icons would help the buyers fell that they may have a good product in hands. The phone gives me comfort to know that I did not spend a lot of money for the phone, and that I’m not obligated with a contract , or that I am being pressured to pay my bill at a regular monthly price. In other words I can chose what I want to pay for the month using the different prepaid choices.

I purchased this LG Journey LTE for my child's 12th birthday. It was a surprise. He was annoyed that I wasn't going to get him an iphone. As soon as this phone arrived there was no more attitude. Its great and for under 40 bucks he's happy. It's not cheap looking. It allows for an expandable memory card and I added it to his phone for him. We work off of wifi most of the time but I bought this paired with Simple mobile for when we aren't home. That was also an easy set up. Call quality is good This is a great phone for tweens and seniors alike without breaking the bank!

Sturdy and reliable standard Android phone. Plenty of space for various apps without noticeable lagging. Decent pics, videos, and audio. Clear viewing for YouTube and streaming movies. Decent reader for book and news down loads. I'm clumsy. Always dropping this thing and it holds up (knock on wood). I bought this model for all my kids, tween to early 20's. Can't beat the sale price of $30. Sometimes, as low as $20. Brand New. Definitely worth it. Save iPhone money for an iPad or computer instead.

Santa Claus brought this phone for my eight year old son. I wasn't looking for anything high-tech something simple that he could connect to the Wi-Fi at home to play games or God forbid in case of emergency to make calls out. This was perfect for his needs. I have absolutely no complaints and it still works as well today as it did when it was purchased 5 months ago if he ever needed another phone I would definitely purchase this again
