It's a Nexus, what do you expect?

One, it comes in a generic brown box. Does this matter to you? Not me, I saved $150 off of list price for a new phone.
Two, you're running vanilla Android not some bloated OEM skin. Install what you want to customize it. That's the beauty of Android. Can't handle that? Spend $700+ on a Samsung or iPhone.
Three, I was a little disappointed in the battery life. But this has quick charging so after 15 - 20 minutes you're back up over 50%. Or you can do what I did. I unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom ROM and I have awesome battery life. Come on, that's what a Nexus is for. It was originally built for developers.
Four, this phone is about at my limit of being too large. I tried the Nexus 6P but that was just too big for me to handle comfortably. Same with the Moto X Pure.
I've had this phone a little over a month. So far, I'm satisfied. A lot of bang for the buck spent.

Bought this phone for my wife for Christmas to replace her damaged Samsung Galaxy S5. Works perfectly, and has an awesome camera especially in low light situations. Great Mid Priced pure Android phone. Great deal from Best Buy too.

Nexus 5X Hardware Rev 1.0 - Warm Color Display

This is a decent phone and getting harder to come by. Bare in mind that many early buyers returned their Nexus 5X because it had a warm colored display (users describe as a "yellow" tint). The display was updated in a later hardware revision.. The refurbished phone I received from Best Buy is hardware rev 1.0 and does have the warm colored display. It also showed symptoms of the blinking red LED issue because the battery was fully discharged out of the box. The phone recovered from the dead battery and the display tuning can now be set to "cool" once you enable "Developer Options".
