I love the features and it cleans very well. I had a Kitchenaid before and was not happy. A couple of things though. The dishwasher has a rubber coating on the outside so during the Hi Temp cycles I noticed a smell. I think how strong the smell is depends on the installation. If it is fit in snuggly with few or no gaps you may not even notice. I did the install myself and there is a little air gap on the sides, but now it has been a month or so it has gone away.

I can't believe how quiet this dishwasher is. I can run the machine while watching TV in my "open concept" kitchen/den area. I have 2 LG TVs, 1 LG sound bar and an LG washer and dryer. They make quality products and will buy LG in the future. The only problem with the dishwasher is that it doesn't dry very well, even with a second dry cycle. I end up having to hand dry a lot of my dishes after each wash.

Simply put, the best on the market. Huge. Quiet. Excellent cleaning job. A marked improvement from the 5 year old Maytag that we replaced after multiple repairs.

I absolutely love our new dishwasher! I read Consumer Reports and lots of online reviews before buying, mostly because I was so disappointed with our last dishwasher. Even with all the positive comments, this LG far exceeded my expectations. It is so quiet, we kept checking it (like a new born baby) just to make sure it was really running. (Guess that's why it's designed with cycle lights! LOL) Best of all, it does an excellent job leaving dishes sparkling clean. (That steam cycle is a "must have" for loosening dried on messes.) Even Tupperware type items dry well with the "extra dry" cycle option. After years of pre-washing, re-washing, and air drying, never thought I would fall in love with a dishwasher,... but the only thing I regret was not purchasing this dishwasher sooner!

This dish washer has plenty of options for the biggest dirtiest loads, down to our chandelier globes. It is also the quietest dish washer we've ever heard.... or not heard. We literally have be standing within a few feet of it to even hear it. If it wasn't for the lights on the door, sometimes I cannot even tell it's running. Also, Best Buy did a great job getting it to us on time, in perfect condition.

The steam cycles can remove even the toughest dried-on food with ease. The 3 drawer design provides plenty of loading options and it can hold a TON of dirty dishes each load. This unit is so quiet I literally have to strain to hear it running in the next room, and even in the kitchen, it is never more than a faint swishing sound. It also plays a cute little tune when your dishes are clean.

Capacity and Cleanliness are what i wanted and got. The thing is so quiet you do not know it is running. Mulitple cycles is good for different levels of dirtiness. Only real complaint i have is the length of time it takes to run full cycle, but i can live with that

Originally ordered a Bosch dishwasher that would not fit, installer suggested the LG. I was disappointed and hoped for the best with the LG. The LG replaced a GE Profile Series that was just not cleaning very well. After a month I can say the LG has been excellent so far and cleans all the dishes far superior to the GE.

I am in love with my dishwasher. With my old one, we could not watch television in the next room while it ran. This one is quieter than a teenager trying to sneak in after curfew. The ultimate test was boys who like to let food dry solidly in the dishes they tend to leave around for days. Oatmeal? Pasta sauce? No problem. It all came off in one wash. I cried tears of joy when I saw that. :-)

Dishwasher came with a bottom tray and didn't fit. Called LG and without question was told that they would send a new tray which we received in a week. New tray fits/works well. The unit is extremely quiet.

Almost too quite in fact it is hard to hear if it is on! Cleans well, looks great the only niggle is that the tangs that hold the plates are a little too wide so plate flop around a little. Not a big deal and it does make it easier to fit larger items in as well

Very, very, very quite. Sometimes I forget is working and open the door interrupting the cycle, wish it would lock automatically. So far so good but the stainless steel is hard to maintain.

I was in the midst of repairing our aged dishwasher when I realized it was going to cost me almost as much in time (or a service tech's time) and parts as just getting a new one... of course, then I started moving up the model lines looking at nicer and nicer units. My wife really wanted a washer that didn't drown out the TV in the next room, so I ended up with LG's top (at the time) unit at Best Buy. It's quiet... really quiet. You basically hear water draining in your sink and if you are within 5 feet, maybe a very slight hum or woosh and that's it. Very nice. It also washes everything well. The issues I have with it are as follows. It doesn't really dry dishes. Even with the Extra Dry setting, they come out pretty soaked. I assume this is just an issue with modern high efficiency units as the heaters probably use a lot of power, at least, if you want things to get totally dried. The other issue is mainly just with the seeming fragility of the trays and their components. I've already had to bend one of the wheels out on the bottom tray because it got bent in. The top tray pieces just sit on a wire frame, so they fall out often, and the prongs on both middle and bottom trays pop into place, but are very easily "un-poped" and will fall down flat. Still, I highly recommend this unit as it does a good job and is just so quiet. I assume all of its faults are probably industry wide at this point.

Compared to our previous dishwasher, this is very quiet. In fact, I rarely know that it is running. The only concern is that we have more spots than our previous dishwasher, but have been told to try some other cleaning products.

I love it, except it does not dry without wash aid, I'm still learning how to make the dishes dry with the right amount of wash aid, I will update in few months.

This dishwasher is sleek and nice looking, runs very quietly, and I like the three different racks and ability to customize rack set-up. The long-term reliability is yet to be determined, but initial impression is positive.

Very quiet, cleans well, dries very well despite not using hot coil unlike some other brands. Top most rock is really useful for children items - cup lids, straws, utensils - and steam function seems to clean them well.

This is the quiet dishwasher we have been looking for! Also like the 3rd upper tray for small items or silverware. Ability to lower tines into flat spaces on bottom tray makes the dishwasher much easier to load.

I love this dishwasher. Extremely quiet, efficient, looks marvelous, well made and not a bad price. There are many features but to be honest I have not tried doing anything but a straight wash and rinse. I definitely recommend this dish washer!

Bought this one to replace my grandma age dish washer. So glad we did it. It cleans well and you could not even tell how it works as it is super quiet.! Elegant design. My only complaint is the drying step seems not powerful enough. I have to leave the door open half day to let the moisture completely out.
