Good dryer, easy to use and dry clothes well with less amount of time

No problems with the appliance. There are lots of options. It'll be a while before I know for sure.

The dryer has all the whistles and bells on it. Very easy to learn how to run.

All the documentation says this is supposed to be a steam dryer. After several calls to LG and a service call, we were told that it is a water atomizer. It sprays water on the clothes. They come out wet and as wrinkled as when they went in. What is LG thinking?

I really wanted this dryer as it has the steam capacity and it fit in my cramped fixed space in my laundry room. Dryer works well but I do find clothes typically take a bit longer than the set program time. Only comment about the steam feature is it soaks the clothes instead of just steaming them. So once they are soaked you have to dry them which eliminates the wrinkles. You have to plan for extra time if you want to use this feature.

I almost capitulated to some sales talk. The sales guy was great and I learned a lot but after wanting this set, then that, then that, then that then that - I FORGOT that what I wanted most was STEAM. STEAM STEAM STEAM. So I ordered the wrong one and fortunately it dawned on me that night, prior to delivery. So I searched and search some more, still wanting LG, and came up with this - apparently pretty new -- one and I hadn't even seen it on the show room floor. It and it's matching washer arrived the next day. I gazed at them for a day or two, sitting there looking beautiful, until I got the right soap. They are lovely, simple, shiny, quiet, and they play the cute tune when done. I made the right choice!

Bought this LG dryer to replace a 4 year old LG dryer lost in a flood. Large capacity, great for comforters but none of the cycles seem to be anything special. Wrinkle free does not result in less wrinkles and steam fresh does nothing but leave parts of your clothes damp. Not impressed. Should have purchased a standard dryer without all the bells and whistles that don't work.

I have not had much luck with this dryer so far. First day had problems, set it up, ran the test for the ventilation, checked out ok, great. Washed some towels, put them in the dryer, dried ok. Well, next tried to do some clothes and got the 4 bars for improper ventilation (95% blocked, error code d95). Unhooked my ventilation set up (which was like 2 feet long with 2 90 degree elbows), adjusted it a little better, set it back up, and no luck. Unhooked my ventilation set up again and this time just had the dryer vent openly into the laundry room, still gave me the error code saying the ventilation was 95% blocked, this tells me its a problem with the dryer, not my ventilation set up. I obviously got a messed up one, I will re-review when the new one comes.

Very disappointed in LG gas dryers. I've tried two dryers of this model in the past month, and neither work correctly. The sensor drying leaves clothes anywhere from wet to damp, and the steam function does nothing but drench your clothes with water without drying them.

Pros: Style/Design, quality not thereThe Steam Fresh cycle on our dryer has not worked properly from day one. Service was called, very reputable company. They needed to order 2 parts for this brand new dryer. One of the parts was the control board, the other was a valve. It took 3 weeks to get the control board from LG! When the technician arrived to install them, LG had shipped the wrong control board!!!! The proper control board has now been ordered and we get to wait another 2 weeks for it to be delivered and schedule another home visit for installation. As our first LG appliance purchase, I am horribly disappointed in the quality of merchandise and lack of inventory to support their products. Beware!
