We bought this dryer after a lot of research to replace our previous LG dryer which had given out after 10 years. We tried to have it fixed but the boards are no longer available for even board repair establishments. We like the design, size, and easy to use features. I like that the steam feature is optional and doesn't need a water line via splitter connected to the dryer. We read those can be problematic down the road. A good rule of thumb too is that if you are going to buy something, do an internet search of the product number and search for forums which may point out any widespread problems you may want/need to be aware of prior to purchasing. So far so good.

When our old dryer started squeeling we thought maybe we should fix it. My son installed dryers and other appliances for Sears for a couple years and he said we should just get a new cheap one. He suggested Sears but we were going to Best Buy anyway and stopped to check out what they had. The supervisor who greeted us said he had just purchased one with the steam option and he liked it. We weren't planning on that option but this dryer was on sale so we bought it. The steam seems to work very well and our clothes are dry but not wrinkled even when we forget them in the dryer over night. There are many settings so even my wife is happy with her delicates. I like the one inch ledge at the bottom of the door opening where I can set one edge of the clothes basket when I am removing the clothes instead of dropping them into it on the floor. I know it is a small thing but to me it adds value. We got the steam that you fill from the faucet rather than the one that needs to be hooked up to plumbing as it is much cheaper and very easy to fill as we have a sink next to the dryer.

Purchased this over a Whirlpool Dryer because we were told that LG is rated higher. Both my wife and I love large capacity of this dryer and the dryer rack that comes with it. The variance in drying molds and especially the steam figure. We also found that this unit has an Auto On/Off feature that is very convenient. Not to mention the automatic drying sensor which adjusts the time in which it takes to dry each load. This unit is Small in size, but Big in ability. So far we're very pleased with our purchase. Lastly the only reason that I am giving this dryer a 4-Star Rating is because we have only owned it for 3 months.

I purchased this dryer back in July of 2015, and have no regrets! I love this dryer and that it can handle large volumes of clothing, bedding and towels. I have found that with extremely large volumes of bedding the blankets and sheets get balled up and I need to unable everything half way through the cycle to make sure everything completely dries. I love the steam/sanitize feature and the ability to toss my $400 king sized down comforter in the dryer on the sanitize cycle since I cannot put it in the washer. My only complaint is that when you use the steam feature, lint and debris will stick to the dryer lint screen and inside where the screen goes. So occasionally I grab an old tooth brush and the vacuum to suck out any build up. Would definitely recommend and am satisfied with my purchase.

Purchased this dryer a month ago and decided to go with gas instead of all electric. I am very happy with that decision. Most of my cycles are less than 30 mins and average around 23 mins. Woo hoo! My husband completed the install on the dryer because the delivery guys didn't have the correct gas hookup. Best buy did their best to make it up to us and we appreciated it. I've done some large loads due to purchasing the larger washer barrel and it doesn't seem to effect the dry cycle at all. I have not used the steam fresh option as of yet. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I like the steam function with out having to run a water line. The clothes are less wrinkled then my previous drier even when the clothes sit for the day. Although the drier cycles are very long. It seems to use less heat but a longer time. This drier is very easy to use with lint trap reminders after every load and lots of setting options.

The dryer was easy to install and get running. I splurged on a steam model because I thought I would use that function often, but the way steam is configured I don't think I will. I would like to have steam at the end of a regular dry cycle to sanitize then have the clothes dry at the end--but this leaves all steam cycles slightly damp. You can run a few more minutes of drying, but this is an extra step that makes the benefit of steam less practical. Otherwise it is quiet, dries well and the low cycle is really a low temp so the sensitive clothing will be safe!

I love this gas dryer. It doesn't over dry my clothes & dries clothes evenly. Depending on ur loads, it can dry your clothes & comforters in less then 1 hour. I saved a lot of time with this gas dryer since it does the job efficiently. I pack about 2 loads of clothes in it each time. Sometimes, a huge comforters, sheets, a few small kid blankets at a time .

So far, I am very happy with this dryer. Large capacity and so many drying options depending on the type of fabric, etc. The steamfresh cycle is so wonderful! I threw in a very wrinkled sweater and it came out looking like new. It definitely helps extend the time between washes or drycleaning when you can refresh clothing after wearing it. I appreciate the metal lint screen which is stronger than the weaker fabric mesh of my last machine. I also love the glass door! It is nice to be able check on progress without stopping the machine and opening the door.

Clothes have dried faster and the steam clean feature is very helpful. We chose this model because you can fill a container with water for steam and do not need to attach a water line - all works great!

Got the washer and dryer. Dryer isn't hooked up yet but love the washer. Works great, holds a lot, easy to use.

This dryer has many different features, all of which are common. Very easy to use, quiet. Easily dries a queen size comforter.

Love this dryer. It has so many features. I love that I can do large loads and they are fully dried the first time using the proper settings. Also love that I can steam my pillows and they come out perfect.

We were upgrading a 15+year old dryer when we needed to replace our washer. Keeping it as a set this was the dryer. I have been so thoroughly impressed with the dryer. At first it was a big change with so many more settings, but turns out it is far more user friendly with the wide range of options. Very easy to use, performs great. I love the huge tub which dries a bedspread very easily. The design is wonderful and laundry seems far less like a chore now.

I had to buy some new fittings to get the gas line connection, but that's not the fault of Best Buy or this machine...my home is older and the previous machine was installed...let's just say it was installed creatively. But a quick trip to the local hardware store and we were all set. The dryer works great and it's ENORMOUS. It's virtually silent too if you turn off alerts, which is great for a baby sleeping in the next room. Highly recommended!

Got a new washer dryer set when my washer broke - again! This dryer is HUGE! And it drys my clothes fast. With all the different cycles, it's good for anything you might put in it.

This dryer is phenomenal! The shoe rack is a great option. It takes away from that old banging noise of the shoes hitting the wall. Plus the steam cycle is pretty awesome too!

We've had the dryer a month and done many loads of wash from regular clothes laundry to all the bedding in the house. It's nice to have a dryer large enough to handle bulk things like a Queen size Comforter and it comes out dry. It's quiet. It's got every setting I need and more that I didn't know I needed. My only knock on it is the end of cycle chime is not loud enough. But, that is minor considering the positives.

So far I am very happy with this purchase. It is much quieter than my previous dryer and does a good job at getting things dried in a shorter amount of time.
