Large capacity dryer that is easy to use. I had hoped the perm press cycle would be more wrinkle free than it is. I have to get clothes right away before it stops and even them need to use wrinkle releaser spray on many of the items. I did like steam fresh for King comforter as it freshened it up very nice.

Using the sanitizing feature is terrific as we have two dogs and visiting grandchildren. This dryer is extremely quiet and very easy to use.

I really like this dryer because it is effective, efficient, and the clothes come out ready to wear. The steam feature is really great!

We upgraded from a basic base price GE dryer to this mostly because we needed to purchase a new washer. We didn't realize how lacking our previous dryer was until we used this one! All the controls were a little daunting at first, but we read the documentation and now find that it really sets itself as you put in the first couple of options. The clothes come out beautifully and require a lot less ironing than our old dryer. Some clothes go directly from the dryer to the closet and skip the ironing board altogether!

Overall LOVE this dryer! My 6 yr old front load GE was taking 2 full cycles (2hours) to dry a large load of towels and this takes just over 1/2 hour for the same size load.

Love this dryer. Has just enough features and it is very user friendly. My ONLY gripe is that I, of course, had to buy the "vent kit" for $30--which in and of itself is not the problem. But the vent kit did not have enough hose to reach the outlet in the basement so they ended up attaching it to a portion of the old hose. I find it hard to believe the vent kit would not have enough hose to accommodate an average basement installation. So now I'll have to have someone come in and rectify that, but the dryer is at least usable as it is...

My old dryer was dying. My daughter got this dryer (family of 4 with one on the way, lots of heavy duty drying), then saw them on sale. She called from Washington state to tell me to get it asap. We are so glad she did. It does everything I need it to- nice cycle selection, drys clothes well in a short time. GET THE PEDESTAL WHEN YOU GET THE MACHINE! Our sales associate tipped us off to the advantages and we are very glad we took his advice. Love LG stuff- they seem to be the tops right now.

I had bought the matching washer to this machine about 9 months ago. I loved the washer, so when my old dryer died I looked at this one first. I then compared price and features with all of the other dryer's available and this came out on top. It dries quickly, the dryer is done before the washer is. It holds a whole lot of stuff, and has all of the features I need and then some.

Energy efficient, quiet operation, reduction in use of water. GREAT BUY!

I got a great value for my purchase. The only issue I have with the dryer is that after a cycle that is supposed to be dried based upon dampness, I still have had a few occasions where the clothes are still damp. I do love the steam option for items that I haven't hung up immediately and are not ironable so I can get them steamed w/out a lot of effort. I'm still figuring this dryer out. Not really sure what to do with the drying rack.

LOVE this dryer! Checked reviews on so many machines, but needed to match reliability, efficiency, and price...this excels on all 3 criteria! Couldn't be happier, and got such a great deal at Best Buy. Happily drying my clothes right now. Each day, I put my work clothes in for a 5 minute wrinkle releaser...now my life is so easy. By the way, little jingle at the end of the cycle is great...all the kiddos love it.

It came down to two models with the exact same price. This LG and a unit by Samsung. I went with this one based on reviews I read from critics and other consumers. I'm glad I did. The unit works great and has several options. It even comes with a special rack to dry delicates or bulky items like shoes. It also has a steam option that we use to help fight dust mites. I'd recommend this dryer.

love the steam cycle for none wash items. also its big enough for bulky items

Pretty great all around dryer. Pairs well with the steam washer that I purchased. The sensor drying works well along with the steam cycle to remove wrinkles. Would definitely recommend this LG to anyone looking for a dryer that will last them for years.
