We've been using this washing machine for a little over a month now and it's a significant upgrade over the top-load washer it replaced. Cycle times are fairly comparable to the top-loader, but clothes come out closer to dry, which made a huge difference for our aging dryer. We purchased the dryer pair to this washer but only had it installed this week after some modifications to our gas line. So the old one has been in use and was actually getting things dry in less time because of the efficiency of the new LG washer. I'm looking forward to getting a good gauge on how much the new machines save in water, electrical, and natural gas resources. We're very happy with our purchase. Only time I'll tell if this lasts as long or longer than what it replaced (10 years).

This washing machine cleans great, is fairly quiet, and has a huge capacity. I have it stacked with its matching dryer and couldn't be happier after owning for 6 months. It does what I purchased it to do and does it well. Tons of options for those who like to tweak their laundry (temps, spin, time, etc)

Wasn't sure I'd like a front-loader, but its been a great purchase. Quiet operation, great features, and very easy to use. Its gentle on clothing, but works very effectively to get them clean without wasting water or electricity.

It really is ultra-high capacity. I can get huge comforters in there with room. I used to have to stuff them in and slam the door. Hooray! Quiet, too.

so far we are enjoying this updated version of the LG washer we purchased 7 years ago, and I like the new & eco-friendly ColdWash and QuickWash settings. Sadly, LG appliances are not worth fixing, so even though they advertise a 10 year warranty on the drive, the LG service company charged me $120 just to look at it, and quoted another $600 to repair the drive and drum with only a 30 day warranty. Best Buy's deliver & installation were both great, convenient and on schedule.

Much faster and quieter than my old school type washer. Looks great and I love the color too. Being and I.T. guy I did a lot of research and after I bought I was talking to my co-worker and after a ton of research he had just bought the same one also! Brilliant minds think alike!

We bought this washer last month and it's has been doing a great job. The cleaning is perfect. All the settings make the job very easy. It's quiet and the nice melody when the job done is the icing on the cake.

This washer works well with LG SteamDryer 7.4 Cu. Ft. 12Cycle Steam Dryer. It is quite and efficient, and give you many options.

This washer is doing what I want 100%: very quiet and my clothes come out very clean and ready to dry quickly. It's got large capacity, which I still need even with only three people in the household.

We bought this to replace a 6-year-old LG that was damaged in moving. I loved that old LG - it was my first front-loader and it got my clothes so clean. This one is even better. It is silent. Really silent. I cannot hear it spinning. My scaredy-cat will even stay in the laundry room when it is running. I can set it to delay start at 5 am and it won't wake me up. It has turbo wash on the most common cycles (normal, perm press, heavy duty) that only takes about 30-40 minutes, and it has a speed wash for just one item that is just 15 minutes. It has optional steam, which adds time. Honestly, I don't even know what you do with that, but I have tried it on greasy napkins, and it works well. The door has a magnet that keeps it propped slightly open when not in use - I was fine with leaving the old washer all the way open, but some people don't like how that looks, so this magnet door prop will work well for them. The temp can be adjusted all the way up to "extra hot" in some cycles without having to select "sanitary," which is pretty cool. If I had an android phone, it would do something with that, but I don't, oh well. According to CR, LG front-loaders have the lowest repair rates, so hopefully we will enjoy this for many more years. Highly recommend this product.

Washer machine is great because it is energy efficient, has a large load capacity, and has many preset cycles available. Moreover, it is very quiet and signals a melody when cycle is complete.

The washer runs much quieter than the older LG washer it replaced. Cycle buttons are easy to understand and the preprograming is nice. Only downside the washer no longer has a tub light.

This was a huge step up from our old top-loading machine, and wow does it hold a lot of clothes. Very quiet, easy to use. Still figuring out some settings, but there are lots of choices.

I am very pleased with the look and most importantly, function of this unit. It's easy to use with many options and is very efficient. Second time LG buyer as the units are reliable.

Very impressed with this washer. Easy to use preprogrammed settings, uses less water and my laundry come out much cleaner using the HE detergent. Excellent washer highly recommend.

Incredible ease of use and extremely intuitive design. Both units perform far more superior than ones I've owned in the past. Even without the stands, these are at a good height for user operation. Excellent value for the money!

It uses very small amount of water, and the clothes come out clean. But there is a problem with all the front loading washers, it traps more dirty water and may smell badly after some usage.

We have had an LG washer in the past. This model seems to have a higher capacity and he spin cycle is more stable than our last model. The cycle times are pretty long but other than that the washer has been great.

We have had several front load washers over the years and our new LG is great...it is super efficient and easy to operate. Best Buy delivery was excellent!

It has been many years since I had a new washer/dryer set. I love this one. Quiet. The right amount of cycles, cleans well and nearly dries them too.
