By far the best washing machine I have ever owned. Extremely simple to operate and has a multitude of options. I would highly recommend this item.

Had a Kenmore front loader for over 10 years and it worked very well. Reading reviews pointed us to either Samsung or LG. We chose LG because our local BestBuy had an open box. We've purchased many open box items (computers, electronics) and never had an issue so even though the unit was used for few cycles and had some scratches it was worth paying only 1/2 of the SALE price. The unit is has been very good except the actual delivery part and also dealing with the "hammering" noise during wash in the beginning. Deliver was a total fiasco. It was a third party company that did the delivery and when they pulled up to the house the lift in the back of the truck got stuck on the ground and they could not raise it so they had to pull off the washer by hand and they ended up dropping it causing a nice dent. I accepted the delivery after confirming with the local BestBuy store that it can be returned for free pickup. During the first load we found that it caused a hammering sound through out the ENTIRE house. After Google search we found that we had to install "water arrester" for both the hot and cold input. $10 part each at your local hardware store. Once installed, no more hammering sound! Now to the actual washer itself. It works very well. We thought our old Kenmore did a good job of draining all the water from the clothes but this LG does a great job. It takes much less time to dry our clothes now. Clothes come out very clean and in less time than our old unit as well.

We not only do we LOVE this large capacity machine that is quiet, efficient and thorough, we are even more impressed by the installers, Andy & Jefferson. They were incredibly helpful...especially because we are not savvy with installation procedures. Kudos to Best Buy for hiring this team.

Love this washer! Easy to use, quiet, and efficient. We have a family of five with three boys.. This washer keeps up with them easily.

Having bought my last HE washer/dryer combo in 2008, I wasn't expecting to have to replace my Whirlpool Duet Sport, but the washer developed a leak that we could not fix. So far the LG has been superior in every way from capacity, to wash time (which has been cut in half), to the nuanced controls, to the lovely little tune it sings to tell me I need to move the clothes to the dryer. I could not be more pleased.

Happy with all the options it has and the silent operation. And also I can operate it from my smartphone which is another good feature.

It has all of the functions and features we need - without the high cost of those top-of-the-line washers. The machine is very powerful and does an excellent job of getting the water out of clothes during the spin cycle. Makes drying much faster than with our previous washer. I would have given it 5 stars but it is a little bit noisier than I expected. But still quiet compared to our old washer.

Our last washer was a Kenmore front loader that lasted about 15 years. It was good, but the LG is great. Of course, technology has improved for these things, but the wash times are much faster than our old washer, and the spin rate is much faster. Drying takes no time at all since more water gets spun out. We don't need all of the "special" cycles, and the only other negative is that the end cycle bell is not loud enough to be heard much beyond the laundry room. Other than that, this LG washer/dryer is combo is great.

I love the washer! It is quiet & fast. I can't believe how many clothes it will wash. It holds twice as much as my Magtag did. Love it!

So far, the unit looks very nice and looks well built. Only had unit for 1 month and have noticed two things thus far. During the beginning cycle, hear Water Hammering while machine starts to fill with water. Understand you can purchase water arrestors for this to quiet down. Secondly, in the Very Hot Cycle, machine takes almost 2 hours to run cycle which seems really long. Besides these two concerns, the machine appears to get cloths cleaner than my past machine and certainly spin cycle drys better. Thus, a lot less time in dryer.

Great machine, a lot quieter than old machine that had an agitator and easy to use. Had it delivered and they did a great job setting it up and hauling away the old stuff. Thanks best buy

This is the second front load washer I have had, fist being a Samsung. This is quieter and appears to perform better.

This is a great washer, especially for the money. Loaded with options, pretty big capacity. So far it is working great!

Just got it delivered and so far it works great. Big difference in how clean clothes come out from my old top loading machine. Bought this unit specifically because I had depth limitations in my closet and the reviews overall from different sites were consistently high. Bought the 5-year extended warranty so do not have to worry if something happens. Worth the piece of mind.

Replaced an 6 year older blue LG washer that vibrated the whole house and broke the plastic washer pan. We have a upstairs laundry room. This washer is quiet and washes faster than our older one! We were surprised that the wash was done because we could not feel it like the old one. It holds about the same as our old one but has more settings and it cost about two thirds the price of the old one. The turbo wash is much faster and the clothes come out cleaner. Our old one had a LCD display but this one is easier to read and see what is going on in the wash. Only complaint is that the new one did not come in blue so it does not match our blue LG dryer. We kept our old dryer because it still works good.

Love this washer!! It is so quiet, and even on the shortest setting my clothes come out so clean and fresh.

This is a great washing machine. The machine looks great, it is very quiet, and the clothes look cleaner than my past machine. The magnet that allows the lid to stay cracked open is a plus. This allows the interior to dry out, without the door swinging around.

I love the washer. It is so quiet, so stable and best of all, so large. My laundry day is much shorter now.

This LG washer is simple to operate, quick through cycles, and efficient in energy used. My only qualm is that it is a bit louder than the washer it replaced.

Great product. Great washing machine. Washes good. Washes fast. It's my first front loader and I love it.
