Its a good washer. The regular/cotton setting is fast (about a half hour). The tag function is pretty useless, especially if you use an iphone). Maybe I just don't get it (entirely possible), I haven't fully explored it yet. Its quiet, except if you live in an older home you may experience water hammer, with its constant (in the beginning) on/off of water. I havent used all the functions yet, but some of them take a long time, like an hour and a half.

This, by far, is the best washer I've ever owned. It washes extremely well. Has many different cycles to choose from. It is very efficient, and cleans thoroughly. I especially like the Turbo-Wash cycle, it cleans very well as a much faster pace. I don't know about the long-term durability of this washer, but I'm definitely satisfied so far.

Just could not be happier with this washer model, way to go LG.Has every setting for clothing/bedding anyone could possibly need and all pre-programmed too! all you have to do is set the dial to what you are washing and it sets the water temperature wash and rinse speeds and type of agitation for really clean but not abused laundry. It also entertains our cat too! she really is mesmerized watching it do its thing, Cool.

Easy to use and very quiet. Holds large loads of laundry. My laundry time has been cut in half.

I do a ton of laundry and I love this machine! Fast, fairly quiet and lots of room.

Had done quite a bit of research into new washer and dryer after previous units began glitching. Knew I wanted something higher end and reliable. Was torn between this and a new Samsung set. Decided to go with this one due to reviews and ratings being somewhat similar and LG having the lower price point. Best Buy delivered and moved into laundry room, but I installed myself with no issues. Wife and I love the new units and have recently ordered pedestal for dryer along with the Twin Wash pedestal for the washer. Those should be here tomorrow. My only complaint is that the units are definitely close to the ground and bending over is a chore, but the pedestals will fix that easily and provide more functionality and storage space. Very happy thus far.

We did plenty of research and decided to go with this model by LG. We are both glad we did. It uses less water, less detergent, and our clothes have never looked better. Free in home delivery and hookup only sweetened the deal. Quit looking and just add this and the matching dryer to your home.

I read MANY reviews from many different sources - and found this to be pretty consistently high, so I chose it over the Samsung model. I really like it. Granted, I was moving from an old (15 years or more?) machine that had grown to taking around 4 hours to do one load... So certainly anything would be better, right? But this has been revolutionary to me. The clothes, even heavy towels, are nearly dry when I take them out. I can easily do a load start to finish before work (with kids to get ready too!) There is a super fast 15 minute cycle which is great for the towels after daily swim practice. I got the machine in Late July, and already my 2nd quarter water bill was down by $25. Seems great so far!
