Was looking for a new reasonably priced PC monitor after my twelve year-old previous one finally conked out. This LG UltraGear 24" is exactly what I was looking for. The screen size is just right to fit on my desk area and the picture quality looks great. Although this is a gaming monitor, I don't play games on my PC. However, I noticed that movies look great on this monitor. The one caveat is that you must check that your PC has an HDMI cable jack because this monitor only uses HDMI. If your PC is old and has no HDMI jack, this will not work. LG support told me via chat that any HDMI/VGA converter or adapter will not work for this monitor. If your PC has no HDMI jack, you would either need to get a new PC which HDMI jacks are standard by now... or look for an older model monitor. Lucky for me, my PC has one HDMI jack. It initially did not work, but LG support advised me to update the driver for my HDMI jack on the PC... and the monitor works great now. After you register your purchase, LG has great 24/7 support where you can chat with a live Technician.

I Purchase this monitor to match my other monitor for video editing software. So far it does the job. For on a budget I recommend the LG - UltraGear 24" LED FHD FreeSync Monitor.

I only wish I got a curved monitor the only thing that bothers me is the stand for the monitor

Purchased over a year ago. It was on sale for a great price, much lower than they sell monitors now. Works great. Even better than the one I use it with for work. Should’ve purchased two instead of one.

Great budget monitor with support for 144hz over HDMI, which I’ve come to find isn’t super common in budget monitors. Pros: - 144hz over HDMI and DP - Fast response time, good for competitive games like CS:GO and VALORANT - Very easy setup, only a few screws - Pretty budget friendly Cons: - Very limiting viewing angles, even shifting around in my swivel chair viewing - Poor color contrast, especially because I am colorblind

144hz looks smooth. Having it on the highest speed setting will give you an after-image, but just one level down, I don't notice any problems. No dead pixels and after a few tweaks to the monitor settings, the colors are good enough. My issues with the monitor, supposedly it works with g-sync, but so far, I can't get nVidia to recognize it. The colors are good, but they're very bold (not over-saturated, but like really noticeable). I've tried messing with saturation, brightness, and contrast. But I haven't found that sweet spot yet. Outside of that, it's a good monitor

For the price, I got say it’s a pretty good monitor. The graphics are amazing and the 140 Hz works smoothly. It’s also g sync compatible which is mainly why I bought it. The only thing is that it’s definitely not meant as a side monitor. Only as a front, head on one. But aside from that it’s a great steal.

Yes, the ps5 can read that it is a 144hz monitor. Do not freight if you are worried abt that. Plus, it’s very good for the price!

I wanted to get a monitor to play online games on. I was looking for a TN panel and something that had a 1ms response time. I know LG has been good in the past for me, so I decided to check this one out and give it a try. So far, I am loving the quality and speed of the monitor. The resolution is not bad at all and I can already tell a speed differential when playing online. Try this one out if you're looking to spend under $200 on a monitor. Thank you for reading my review!

Out of the box the color settings need to be adjusted but once you get them where you want them the picture really pops. I couldnt be happier with my purchase. The fact that it has both free sync and is g sync compatable is a definite plus. Low key, this is one of the best monitors for 144 frames on a budget. If you're on the fence, buy it. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

-144hz -LG this monitor is really good for the price. and even more its a 144hz which is a sweet spot over all when it comes for refresh rate. This is perfect for fps games who has a videocard that is not that powerful. and monitor specs does it job to carry high demand games with old video cards. so far very happy for the purchase, little brother still enjoying his games no problem.

I've been using this almost daily for more than a year now. Here's a list of what I like and don't like about it: + When calibrated right, it has very good color accuracy. + It has intuitive joystick type controls so fine tuning the settings is smooth and easy. + 1ms fast response time setting and 144Hz refresh rate is very useful when playing fast paced video games. I don't feel an input lag when using an XBOX controller + Very efficient display. When measured with a kill-a-watt meter, it only consumes ~30W of power at max brightness (oh, and it's VERY BRIGHT). ~23W at 50% is where I set it at comfortably. - Not quite a "borderless" display. The bezels are noticeably huge. So if space is a concern, it occupies more than other narrow-bezel 24" displays. - The whole monitor isn't that stable and wobbles quite a bit. I suggest leaving it alone and never move it at all. For that reason, I gave it 1 less star on quality - No height adjustment on the stand. But it doesn't bother me that much because my desk is tall.

Got this for my son for his birthday and he loves it. He wanted a more expensive one on Amazon but after comparing it to this one it was pretty much the same. I'm so happy I chose this one because he loves it and says that it's better then what he expected, plus I saved myself over $100.

Overall nice monitor for the price. The only drawbacks are the noise it makes when PC go into sleep mode and the functional button for menu.
