[Employee of bestbuy] Upgrading from my HP Omen IPS monitor to the LG Ultragear 27" OLED was a complete game‑changer. I’ve owned several LG OLED TVs over the years, but this is my first OLED monitor — and it genuinely exceeded my expectations. The color accuracy is stunning, the contrast is truly infinite in a way only OLED can deliver, and the overall image quality feels on a completely different level. The 280Hz refresh rate is a nice bonus, even though 240Hz was already more than enough for my needs. This display is simply incredible and easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup.

Sharpest monitor i’ve owned. Zero problem with understanding the monitor os as well as that perfect pixel response time cannot recommend enough for this price point.

Great monitor with a high refresh rate. Love the oled, sorry I waited this long to make the leap.

I bought an open-box product, my expectations were pretty low but i am highly satisfied. Panel looks great. Setup was easy and no issues with the VESA mount. Colors pop and brightness is... bright. Overall worth the money.

Best picture quality on the market today for the sale price of $549.99. Perfect black and good HDR. Screen is semi matte so it doesn't look dull and keeps the reflections in check in bright rooms.

[Employee of bestbuy] Blown away. Swapped this from the asus comparable and significantly happier. Better colors, responsiveness and connectivity. Very happy.
This is incredible. Great graphics, very clear and sharp colors.

Will never go back after buying this, all my future monitor purchases will be oled. The difference between this and my 2nd one is literally night and day.

Would be better if the hdr wasnt so terrible looking. Entire thing looks washed out in hdr. Sdr picture was pretty great. The matte screen is also not as bad as i thought it'd be coming from glossy qd oled screen. But the hdr is terrible and there is no firmware update for this monitor yet. I def wouldnt pay the full 850 they were asking for originally thatd be insane. Had to use nvidia hdr calibration to get hdr to be usable on the monitor and not look just terrible. Once i made adjustments through nvidia hdr looked better than my 2k qd oled minus the matte screen difference. Point is not everyone can fix it that way so lg should release some firmware to fix their mess. Anyway get it on sale or wait for gigabyte or asus model to drop in a couple more weeks. I will be buying asus when it comes out for sure.

Hi there, DanielB. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG UltraGear 27" OLED QHD 280Hz Gaming Monitor. We understand your inquiry regarding the HDR performance and the request for firmware updates. We are glad to hear you are enjoying the SDR quality and the matte screen finish! To ensure you are getting the most out of your display, we recommend ensuring that the "Smart Energy Saving" feature is turned off in the monitor settings, as this can sometimes impact peak brightness in HDR mode.

[Employee of bestbuy] There’s a lot of really great things about this monitor. The matte coating works really well while in a might room, and the monitor itself can get super bright while in HDR while still maintaining its color. But i do have some issues with it, the coating while it works well isn’t subtle at all, it looks very oily when doing basically any activity and it can take away from what you’re viewing pretty easily, i never had this problem on my old matte IPS so it seems to be a issue with this monitor in general. Overall i think the monitor is alright but the coating is too much for me

1000nit brightness on this made it a no brainer compared to the ASUS option i saw on sale at the same time. It had a 300nit brightness i beleive and it's insane how much of a difference that makes. Absolutely loving this monitor and would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their setup!

Greatest picture ever!!! True blacks with bright colors! Price is high but worth it if you can afford it.

These new tandem OLED panels are great IF you win the panel lottery. Some of them have terrible vertical banding. I've heard it goes away if you do a couple of the OLED panel refreshes but it didn't for me. Brightness is amazing and combined with all the other benefits of OLED you've got one of the best panels you can buy especially for the price.

I have been looking for a main monitor for my games while streaming, and a friend recommended to check out OLED displays. As far as quality, refresh rate, and inky blacks, THIS is the one!!

It does the job! Only thing is that there are some noticable VRR flickering. If you are fine with that then its totally worth the purchase!

Good value and fantastic edge to edge picture. The set up out of the box was easy, and the output ports conveniently placed. The monitor stand is solid.
