Not sure it's true 4k but it sure looks like it.. very colorful, and excellent deep blacks. I upgraded from a 27 inch LG. Great buy!

The only thing missing in my opinion is a usb hub but you can always buy one. It is G-sync compatible which was a plus. The stand isn't great though. It's too big and bulky so I'd recommended a better one, and it is vesa compatible. The picture looks amazing and specs don't lie.
