Perfect monitor for console gaming. You wont need a higher refresh rate for ps5 or xbox i think they max out at 120. Has all the features of other monitors except for there higher refresh rate and a usb-c port. This monitor is winning with its glossy display i feel like thats one if its best features. I wont miss the higher refresh rate on console and don’t really care about an integrated usb-c port. If you need a monitor for console gaming, trust me this is the one especially at this price. 4K, glossy display, 31.5 inches perfect refresh rate for console gaming. under $800. Almost forgot OLED. Can’t beat it.

Beautiful OLED. Has menu buttons on there back. Can adjust left to right, slide up and down.
PS5 PRO looks phenomenal. Playing Ghost of Yotei is insane.

I’ve had this LG OLED monitor for less than 48 hours, and I’m already very impressed. It’s one of the best monitors I’ve ever owned. The Dual Mode feature is super practical, perfect for getting full performance while gaming or for watching movies in top-notch quality. Initially, the colors weren’t very sharp, but with a few adjustments, the image quality becomes incredible. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a versatile and high-quality monitor!

At this point, I've tried so many OLED monitors that I've become nitpicky. This monitor is a great choice at it's sale price of 799.99. If you're picky like me, then keep reading.
I love a lot about this monitor. The True-black glossy coating is a game-changer compared to the LG's Matte coated OLEDS. The image is so much clearer, and colors pop more. The button on the bottom to instantly change the refresh rate and resolution is very convenient. HOWEVER, LG locks down a lot of the OLED protection features that you can customize on the ASUS version of this panel (the XG32UCWG). For example, these WOLED panels have outer dimming on the edges of the screen, so the middle of the screen is brighter than the edges, and this drove me crazy. On the XG, you can disable this feature so the whole screen has uniform brightness. I'm writing this review on the XG, and the image is brighter and colors pop more. Overall, the XG feels like it has punchy colors that are much closer to QD-OLED, with the amazingly clear true-black glossy coating. For that reason, I'm going with the ASUS variant.

I have had a couple of OLED laptops as well as TVs. Their colors have always been impressive as well as viewing angles. So, I was looking forward to trying out this LG monitor – and it does not disappoint. The blacks are like a dark pool with all other colors just popping (VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400 True Black, HDR 10 and 1,500,000:1 contract). Viewing area is impressive with no loss of color, etc. when viewing from virtually any angle (states 178 degrees), which is a problem with my IPS VA monitor.
Monitor could not be easier to put together. The stand clips into base and then clips onto the back of monitor while in the box – easy peasy. It is a little tad cumbersome to move given size and weight (20 lbs) but easily accomplished by 1 person. Stand adjusts up/down, swivels and tilts. The base does stick out an inch or two past the front of screen, but it is flat and I could set my soundbar on it with no issues. There is also a slot on back of the stand to pass through cabling - which is a nice touch.
Box includes a manual that you don’t need a magnifying glass to read. Also, it includes power cable with inline brick, nice to save space on power strip. HDMI and DisplayPort cables are also provided as is a USB-B connection to connect monitor to computer.
There is an array of settings easily accessed by the control panel stick shift located in middle and behind bottom of screen. It gives access to most screen options one would expect as well as changing from 4K UHD 165Hz to FHD 330Hz variable response (G-SYNC Compatible (NVIDIA Adaptive Sync), FreeSync Premium Pro (AMD Adaptive Sync)). Gaming options include adding crosshair as well as FPS to screen. Options are not overly complicated as I have experienced with other monitors. It was interesting that I could not screen print the pop-up menu(s) nor is there an LED light to indicate monitor is on.
After tweaking the screen settings, the monitor was still too dark for me - so I used Nvidia GPU control panel to adjust how I wanted. The 4k resolution (3840 x 2160) looks great whether streaming 4k content, day-to-day usage, surfing, and importantly gaming. I really didn’t notice much difference when testing FHD mode – maybe edges weren’t as crisp, but colors were still great. The 0.03 milliseconds response is great. I do mostly driving/racing gaming – and it was very responsive. Monitor is advertised as glossy, so it is reflective, especially when off. When on I didn’t notice it.
Having adjustable height/tilt/swivels makes it extremely easy to get perfect position for viewing. You cannot rotate from landscape to portrait. I didn’t need the monitor mount I had been using.
It has 2 HDMI 2.1 and 1 DisplayPort 1.4 connections.
No built-in speakers but has headphone jack which once you select appropriate sound source (windows 11 for me) it worked fine with my soundbar.
2 USB-A 3.0 connections. In my testing I needed to connect the USB-A cable from monitor to desktop before the headphone jack and USB-A connections worked. I am not sure how much I would use these connections as they are a tad hard to get to. It did not work trying it use with my USB keyboard/mouse. I assume monitor blocked signal or maybe not enough juice to power it. I did test read/write speeds and results are posted in pics.
When shutting down is goes thru a “image cleaning” – which as far as I can tell is to insure no burn in. There are also 4 options to “move the screen” (ever so slightly) to also avoid burn in (I assume). I am using option 1.
2-year parts/labor warranty
I can’t think of anything really negative to say – I replaced my 35-inch 60Hz VA monitor with this. It is such a step forward I don’t mind moving to a smaller monitor. I am not sure how much I will use the FHD option but as has been said – it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I definitely recommend it.

I am no stranger to OLEDs, I’m actually upgrading to this LG model from another OLED monitor and let me tell you, it’s a big difference! I had my hopes up knowing that LG makes amazing OLED TV’s, and this monitor is up there! Its simple, clean, and easy to put together. My last OLED was complex and just too many features making it aggravating to use and didn’t look this good. Blacks are extra black and the glossy screen adds a fantastic enrichment to it.
You don’t need any tools to put it together and it includes video cables for you. Out of the box settings are great based on my research, but you can fine tune them even more. There are several different built-in profiles, I’m currently on RTS because I like whiter whites compared to the toned down whites. The included instructions are bare, you’ll need to go to LG’s site to get the full manual with details about its features. There is an “Image Cleaning” mode that lasts 10 minutes, that has only prompted me once to do during the initial power up, which is great. It might be doing it when I’m not using my monitor as well, and its much better than the optimization I had on my last monitor that would love to run right when I sat down to work. There is a built-in OLED standby mode which I assume helps conserve power and probably helps prevent burn-ins, its automatic and the screen comes back on quickly. There is also a DAS mode that was not found in the manual, but I asked Grok about it and it’ll give you a good explanation. It basically is designed to reduce input lag for gaming.
I enjoy running OLED Demo videos just to see how good it looks, you can see some of my attached pictures. I have not had any gripes or complaints about this monitor so far, I truly get excited every time I sit in front of it. Games looks fantastic and are responsive. Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, with BF6 next on the list. I have even ordered a new video card to up my gaming now that I have this monitor, to really squeeze all the quality I can out of it. This is one of the best additions I’ve had to my PC setup in awhile.

I've been using the LG UltraGear Dual View monitor for a week. Overall, I think this is a great, high-quality monitor with a fantastic stand, amazing color reproduction, and resolution. Additionally, the Dual Modes make this the perfect monitor for pixel peepers and high-speed FPS junkies alike.
The stand is one of my favorite design features of the monitor. It's very sturdy and allows for multiple points of adjustability. For instance, it can be raised, lowered, twisted, and tilted to my perfect viewing angle. Also, assembling the monitor is convenient. It comprises four parts, requires no tools and takes less than 4 minutes to complete assembly.
The display performance is phenomenal. The glossy OLED panel strikes a perfect balance of offering a liquid-smooth viewing surface that manages my room's ambient light exceptionally well. The reflection handling is so good that glare or reflections are virtually invisible while the screen is in use. The Dual Mode feature is another great highlight. I love being able to watch movies and videos in sharp, lifelike 4K resolution at 165Hz, and then—with the press of a button—switch to 1080p at super-fast 330Hz for gaming. In either scenario, the UltraGear’s color reproduction is rich and vivid, the brightness is fantastic, and the contrast is excellent.
The only drawbacks to this monitor are that it does not include speakers and does not have USB-C inputs or outputs.
With that said, I really like this monitor and it easily earns my recommendation.

I have debated getting an OLED monitor for years, and this made me regret not doing sooner. It is amazing for gaming! The perfect blacks, stunning colors and HDR, and refresh rate make for an incredible experience. I was concerned about text readability since I also use it for productivity and work. Since you typically scale Windows at 125-150% on a 4k monitor of this size, it's not an issue at all. It's part of the reason IMO to go with a 4k monitor versus an ultrawide running at native resolution/scaling. I noticed a bit of gray vertical banding on first use, but this was resolved after a running a pixel cleaning cycle. There's a bit of glare noticeable in a bright room, but it's not really a factor once it's in use. Overall, I would highly recommend it, especially if you've never experienced OLED.

Just bought the LG 32GS95UE-B this week and I’m blown away by the picture quality—the glossy WOLED with MLA+ delivers stunning HDR brightness and perfect blacks. It’s buttery smooth at 240 Hz in 4K, text looks surprisingly sharp for work, and it handles gaming like a dream. The glossy coating shows reflections and it gets a bit warm during long sessions, but for the price, this is easily the best 32" 4K OLED monitor right now.

Got it on sale after a year of debating if i should swap to oled. Best purchase ever! Tweaking the settings a bit to my preferance games are beautiful in color and quality havent had a single issue with it in the month ive had it so far and the dual mode feauture while nice i dont see myself using often as running 1080p on a 4k monitor does not look nice but it is a jump in fps and hz for the games that need it

This monitor is great quality and has a great picture! Switch between modes from 4k 165hz to 1080 330hz can be nice for switching between RPG and competitive FPS. Only thing is sound. Has a headphone out and that is it so expect to use your PC optical or Bluetooth. If connecting a console you need a good headphone out cable that is a TRRS or TRS to ensure no signal noise with your sound.

Phenomenal monitor overall, true black glossy is no doubt the best option going forward for OLED monitors as it greatly enhances appearance of color depth versus traditional matte displays. This may not be as feature packed as its Asus equivalent but at the discounted price of $799 it is pretty hard to beat.

Got this before the price went back to 1299 but this is a beautiful monitor. The colors pop and the reflection is not bad at all. I went from a 34 oled ultrawide to this and I am impressed.

I was on the fence about buying an OLED for a while and I'm glad I went with something a little more expensive. the bezels on the screen are thin and the anti-reflective coating is great for brighter rooms. I love the panel and the 4k is crisp.

This was a gift for my adult son and he looooooves it (he’s very “tech-y” and a gamer who’s had MANY monitors)! He says this monitor is the best he’s ever had…very bright, vibrant, sharp, clear and crisp! He has nothing but good things to say about it!!

The 1080 mode is eh. 165hz for 4k is plenty for my system. Picture quality and motion in 4k amazing. Glossy deepest blacks. No display port 2.1 is a bummer
