My Great Experience at Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a good experience getting this monitor even though it was really busy I felt I was helped in a timely and efficient manner. A worker even took the time to help me pick a monitor as I didn’t know much about them and I am very satisfied with my purchase

First OLED screen, way better than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing looks beautiful, OLED technology has come a long way and and OLED panel does not have the same downsides as TN, IPS, or VA. Handles motion perfectly, no smearing, amazing darks and contrast. 100% do not hesitate if you are able to find it on sale but even for full price I feel this thing is worth it

Great display, but it has its limits.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The display's pixels per inch is kind of low for its size. It isn't noticable during gaming, but text looks kind of bad. Recalibrating cleartype helps, and so does using open source app BetterCleartype and using the grayscale setting. HDR range isn't the best, but works fine if you are ablw to control the light in your room. Motion handling is amazing. Contrast is as well, due to the OLED panel. Get an extended warranty that covers the panel to allay some fears of burn-in.

LG Ultragear Review
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is better than I could imagine. I thought it was going to be tough getting used to the curve but it didn't take long at all. Crisp and smooth video and it looks great on my desk. Would definitely recommend for the devoted gamers out there.

Not worth the price and too dim.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size is great but the curve is too aggressive for me. The main issue is the very poor brightness levels and finicky pip transitions. Software for display settings is slow, but included remote makes changing settings easy. I am waiting for a later version with better brightness and less aggressive or adjustable curvature.

Posted .Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Monitor (45GR95QE-B) model. We understand that while you appreciate the size, the aggressive curvature and brightness levels are significant concerns for you. Your feedback is very valuable.
For the brightness issue, one troubleshooting step you can try is adjusting the display settings to see if different modes improve visibility. Sometimes, switching between picture modes like "Standard," "Gaming," or "Cinema" can enhance brightness and contrast.
We also appreciate your input on the software performance and PIP transitions. Your insights help us understand customer needs better, and we’re always working to improve our products.
If you’re considering future versions, we recommend keeping an eye on updates from LG. In the meantime, if you need further assistance or have more questions, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to help. We appreciate your patience. ^Juvy

Read the fine print, if the low resolution permits
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to replace an Intel iMac 27 inch with a 5K screen, which has been wonderful. There is much to like about the LG Ultragear: huge screen, vivid color, super fast response time. But much to my surprise, the resolution on this screen, at 80 ppi or so, is disappointing. I mistakenly equated lots of pixels (owing to screen size) with high resolution. My mistake. Nevertheless, I like this monitor and expect to enjoy it.

Good but far from perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wound up returning this monitor for a Samsung OLED g8 34" ultrawide. The LG would literally be a perfect monitor if it did not have the matte film, and the PPI was higher. The G8 has about 20 PPI more than this display and is most definitely noticeable. As soon as I loaded up a game and could see the individual pixels, I decided to make the swap to the samsung.

Best monitor I have used personally.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It takes a minute to get used to. The black levels are jarring at first, and on really small text there will be some rainbow effect on super bright white backgrounds. Turn windows scaling up to 125% though and get used to the darker black colors and this is the best monitor I have ever used. Only real bad part is now I need to get a 4090 to drive it properly.

Once you go oled, theres no going back
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mean, what can i say, if youre here, you either have a oled tv, or your friends have one and youre jealous. You know the benefits, so did i but dang i didnt expect it to be this good! Everything feels smoother, looks better, why wouldnt it? Its oled, if you have the money, go for it, unless you get a lemon, you wont regret it
