Great for gaming, subpar for reading or coding. Have some issues with the letters but overall this is a great monitor, I got it for $699 off. Total price for me was $1012. Great deal and love to see that the price wasn't a temporary sale 4 months later it's still $1699. I could probably sell it for the same price I bought it for, won't do that but love that I got a deal on a great monitor

First time owning a OLED monitor.. i would say the quality and the build is pretty epic. Loved the Design. It was so big i gave it close to 2 weeks to see if i would get adjusted. Turns out i will exchange it for the 27 inch version OLED …. If you have the money give it a try. I will say buy it when its on sale .. the 240hz made a difference. Coming from 165hz monitor IPS LG as well. Also i have the LG C1 tv. If your looking for speed i would say the monitor all the way …… only thing for me i couldnt get use to the size while plaint FPS games . So i exchange it for the 27 inch OLED non curvee flat 2024 version .

I thought the ppi would be a huge downside for having such a huge screen. But honestly it was hard to notice for my day to day work and once I boot up a game, oh man was it worth it. Probably my main screen until it breaks down, and when it does I will buy the same size again. I absolutely love it.

I use a lot of spreadsheets, and multiple screens at the same time. I had used a Samsung Ultrawide for years, (and it served me well), and using BestBuy Member Return Policy, I was able to try a couple great monitors, but the LG 45" 5k2k UltraGear - is FAR superior to anything I have ever used. The monitor is Crystal Clear - no "dots" in the text, and able to fit 3 full screens easily, and don't have to continually scroll like I did with the Samsung Odyssey. Very Pleased with the Monitor, and hope it will serve me for years to come.

I recently upgraded to the LG UltraGear 45" OLED Curved Gaming Monitor, and it has completely transformed my gaming setup. From the moment I turned it on, the OLED panel blew me away with its deep blacks, vibrant colors, and insane clarity. The 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time make gameplay unbelievably smooth – it’s like everything is happening in real-time, with zero lag or ghosting. The ultrawide 45" curved screen pulls you right into the action, whether you're immersed in a fast-paced FPS or exploring open-world adventures. It’s also a dream for multitasking and productivity thanks to the wide screen real estate. The build quality feels premium, and the monitor itself looks sleek and modern. The fact that it supports both FreeSync and G-SYNC is a huge bonus – no screen tearing, just buttery smooth visuals. HDR400 brings out incredible detail in darker scenes, making it perfect for cinematic games and media consumption too. This monitor isn't just an upgrade; it’s a game-changer. Highly recommend it to any serious gamer or content creator looking to elevate their setup. LG knocked it out of the park with this one!

This is the best gaming monitor you can buy other than the 5k2k model that is currently $2,000. If you can find it anymore or an open-box version you should really check it out. For Gaming: 1440p means your GPU can get mor FPS on games vs 4K OLED looks amazing and games really pop 1440p for gaming on this monitor looks really good and it's not pixelated or anything, you won't really be able to tell it's not 4K even with the lower PPI 21:9 at 45" and a 800R curve is the best form factor I have ever witnessed, and I cannot imagine gaming on a better form factor. Much better than 16:9 for immersion and 32:9 since it doesn't warp the edge of games. For Productivity: You will notice the lower PPI on this front. I would not work on this monitor. I have a separate working monitor which is the Samsung G9 Neo 57" and I love that for working, but for gaming it's not as good since 32:9 warps the games too much, and 2x4K (16 million pixels) is too much to drive, even on a 5090 honestly, but it works so well on productivity.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. Curved monitors are all the new rave and this exceeded my expectations. The size did not take long to adjust with, the color, saturation and setup is perfect. Not very heavy either considering the size. Got this on a big sale and LG just had top of the line products!! A+

The screen is gorgeous to look at especially in more single player games it looks great nice blacks really vivid color range. Just be aware some new games at launch don’t support the full size like doom the dark ages at launch. Text is also somewhat blurry depending on text size but other than that the screen is marvelous

I love this Monitor. It is big and beautiful. Best gaming using OLED and playing games that support Ultrawide is awesome. I recommend this monitor. I enjoy the refresh pixel system. I do not have to worry about it having Screen burn in.

I’ve been wanting a curved monitor for years, but now with OLED? This thing is amazing. I don’t know how I lived without it. Crystal clear, plenty of room for all my windows, and the refresh rate for gaming is phenomenal.

The only way video games should be experienced! Forty-five inches of ultra wide goodness and the immersive 800R curve are only the start. Add to that the gorgeous colors the newest OLED panel from LG produces and you’ll never want for anything else. Do yourself and the games you play a favor and pick this up immediately. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a incredible monitor. If you are looking for the best gaming experience then do not pass on this. I have tested a few other OLED gaming monitor including the 34in version of this. The 45in blows any other monitor out of the water. I have tested a 3070 and it can run the monitor at full rez and FPS with any game I was throwing at it. Whoever tells you that you need to game at 4k is crazy. There is no need to game at 4k unless you are playing on a 55in+ TV. The resolution on the monitor is perfect for quality and gaming performance. If you can get this monitor for around 1k when it is discounted DO NOT pass it up!

Best monitor overall, it is big as length and wide and the thing that makes it curve makes it so much better. All my games look better with this monitor and the fact that is big, makes my computer work a little bit more but for the size is so good
