Great phone. Hifi dac, battery life, performance, everything is great. Finger print sensor is fast. For people who like pictures, the camera and video are amazing. Has wireless charging, water and dust resistance, but it can be fully submerged in to water. Great phone though.

Im a BestBuy third-party vendor and this is second LG product. I wasn't initially in market for a new phone, but Sprint always has some great end of the year sales. I had just ordered a new extended battery from Axxxxxx for my LG v20. I got lucky the v30+ was store pickup only and website was showing 250 miles out of stock. By chance I stopped by and store rep found one. The is similar to my v20, without removable battery. I was worried, but two weeks in battery life is excellent. If you're not surfing the web battery can go 24 hours otherwise expect about 10 hours. I had one major issue which is why I am writing this review. On answering voice calls the speaker volume was 50% at maximum. I could barely understand the caller. Thank God for Google I discovered I just needed to go settings (networks) and enable VoLTE. Solved the problem 100%. I still love the features of LG v20, but android 8.0 slowed the phone down a lot when I updated it. I guess I should mention the major differences between the two: headphone jack moved to top, camera module on back almost flush now, no 2nd screen at top. 4.5 stars..

Phone is amazing. Battery last for quite a while, the camera is pretty good ( for those who care) the highlight of this phone IMO is the hifi dac and headphone jack. Hifidac is basically like an EQ in the phone that works great, and just being a new phone with a headphone jack is great, because you don't see that to often nowadays, great phone.

The processor speed, easy os system made using this phone a breeze. The camera was very nice and the cinematic zoon made for easy recording and a nice professional touch. The fingerprint reader was in a very convenient spot and was accurate most of the time.

This was a huge upgrade. I have had no issues. The screen is great and the wide angle camera is super convenient, as well as the DAC in the headphone jack. Huge bang for the buck!

The best phone on the market

It's the best phone on the market by my opinion, but very underrated because of big rival companies like samsung and iphone. I choose this phone and this company because they make they're phones simple and full of different functions, without bloatware or any of they're software. Lg is known to make as much as possible to stock android and that's what I love about this company.

    Exceeded My Expectations

I spent a lousy year with the Galaxy S8, then I switched to this phone which has basically the same Snapdragon 835 processor. That said, my experience has been so much better. It's hard to put into words but I'll say performance is great, 6 months later (not laggy), it certainly seems to grab onto and hold a 4G signal much better, the battery life has been really really good. LG really put together a terrific phone I have no trouble recommending, even a year later, and I haven't been able to say that about any phone since the HTC One M7.

    Amazing Phone

This phone is very well built and has excellent features. Phone software is very close to stock Android, the Audio DAC makes listening to music much better with a lot of detail. Its lighter and smaller than the Pixel 2 and Iphone X but has a 6" screen and almost no bezels.Fingerprint sensor works great and it has the traditional pin/pattern as well as a tap pattern you can set up so you don't even need to see what you are doing to unlock. Camera software is amazing and offers manual mode and Cinelog for Raw shooting. It also has a setting called Graphy which allows you to set presets designed for certain situations that have been configured by pros. Add the Wide Angle lense (something nobody else has ) and it makes it a very good phone for taking pictures and shooting video. Battery life is Amazing, I am averaging over about 30 hours per charge with medium to heavy use including gaming and youtube watching. Only feature I wish it had that the Samsung has is an Iris scanner.

    from Samsung to LG

Purchased phone from Sprint but really is a great phone. Passed on the s8 because this phone atleast has Sprints band 41 for future use. Even with Sprint's promotions, at these higher monthly prices, i want a phone that will last 3-4 years. Based on the specs (memory, microSD card capacity, and 4G LTE bands/frequencies), one of the few that will. After using the LG for a few months now, it really is just as good as Samsung. Voice quality through the phone is also extremely clear.

    LG has really cut corners

Went to LG from Samsung... big mistake. Problems include: Google "voice search' pops up constantly interrupting texting, phone book. Bluetooth problems range from not connecting, to sometimes connecting to TWO devices when you only want one. Screen is "soft" in that it scratches very easily. LG brags about how this phone has such amazing recording capabilities... honestly it's no different than any other phone I've had.
